Awesome Vid. My new 2020 is being delivered to me on Monday. Had the first one before anyone where I live it was a 2017 C43 Sedan Black with the 19’s but I didn’t even know about the performance exhaust when I ordered it cause the car was so sick looking. Well this one I ordered it. My wife uses it for work so I got this car with almost every option but went to the All Season’s with the 18’s. The AMG 19’s unfortunately are a nightmare. Benz made them way too light and they haven’t cared to change it. In 3 years I had to fix cracked rims 3 times and went through 10 tires. No thanks with that. Now have practical all season and for next summer put a sick pair of custom shoes on it.

Hey Jonathan, I can confirm the coupe here in the UK comes with the AMG performance exhaust standard while for the saloon and estate it was an optional extra. If you need to check to confirm just see If there’s an exhaust button on the center middle dash. Cars without the button don’t have the AMG exhaust. I hope this all helps :)
Hey, you can’t from Mercedes-Benz officially unfortunately so you would need to go for an aftermarket exhaust and tune instead. There’s quite a few options available but it won’t be genuine oem like the factory one.

Hey Nadeem, In 2020 onwards models the C43 had a new option for the steering wheel. Buttons to control the exhaust, suspension etc on on side and on the other side a really nice button/scroll wheel to change drive modes. Sounds exactly what you need. That's true they are an embellished aesthetic to the splitter but AMGs have been like this for a while now. Having owned performance cars in the past with 'real exhaust tips' I can tell you they are a nightmare to keep looking new and clean. The c43 has been a dream to keep looking new and shiney at the back because they dont have that build up and turn black. bro have the e53 or e43 amg that exhaust button too? With amg performance exhaust ofc..
Yep! Both should have this button with the option :)
@@ABAUTOAMG Oh rly? I looked on the internet for used e53 amg’s and nobody had this button idk why
@@serhat5813 Hmmm now you have me wondering I was sure it had one but perhaps not? I am going to hopefully be reviewing one in the near future so will find out!
@@ABAUTOAMG I would be very happy if you try the e43/e53❤️
Wait till you stick a Eurocharged map on then hear the pops. ( and the mega torque) .
Can u make a vid on how to get all of the crackles and pops in a c43 or do u need a tune to do that
Check this video out for a guide on getting the best pops and crackles with the stock AMG performance exhaust. You won't get these crackles without the optional exhaust, no tunes required :)
ua-cam.com/video/q99VfsvTpy0/v-deo.html
ABAUTO yeah I watched that vid and it didn’t work so I think my C43 doesn’t have the performance exhaust 😢
@@sparty5807 Ah :( Does it have the exhaust button in the center console? That's the best way to check.
ABAUTO nope :(
@@sparty5807 Not all is at loss, I hear you can get a crackle tune with the standard exhaust, worth looking into. Other option would be a full aftermarket system.
Does the car sound the same in comfort mode with valves open as sport + mode with valves open?
Hi Bernd, the car sounds much different in sport+. In sport+ you get bigger gear change pops and crackles, theres no crackles at all in comfort even with the valves opened. Hope this helps.
Good to know. than you man 🙏🏽 love your videos and your c43
So if the car has the button, then it has the performance exhaust system? Or does every c43 amg has the button?
Hi Davor, the way it works here in the UK and hopefully worldwide is that the cabriolet and coupe have the exhaust as standard on all cars but for the saloon/sedan and wagon/estate it's an optional extra so if theres no button in the center console the car does not have the performance exhaust. I hope this helps.
ABAUTO Hey man, so you are saying 2019 C43 coupe has this sound as standard?
Yep that's right. It's an option in the saloon but comes standard on the coupe.
Can we equip it after buying the car? I’m a buying a used one and it does not have it .. I really liked the amg performance exhaust … can I buy it from the showroom now it’s 2019 model
Unfortunately it can’t be done officially. If you can I highly recommend buying another car with the optional exhaust as it adds a lot of value to the car and it would be a shame not to have it since you won’t get any of the nice pops in sport+
Weve heard Comfort and Sport+ but what about sport. Or race.
Heres 0-60 in every drive mode :)
We dont have race mode on the C43, its only on the C63.
ua-cam.com/video/WGK6DM0Klo0/v-deo.html
Coooooool
Do the ones after 2020 sound the same? I heard there were changes in other things like emotion start and drive unit but I don’t know about the exhaust, would it be any different?
Yes. My 2023 sounds great!
Sounds like a fuckin Lamborghini Diablo
Is the exhaust still completely stock?
Yep 100% stock no mods or tunes at all :)
Could you please tell me where you purchased the ASR exhaust module
Hi Harry, You can purchase one here. Just make sure you get the right one there's one for the preface lift and one for the facelift models. (facelift models have the circular quad exhausts at the back)

Hi Harry, I think I have the standard model.

Just purchased the ASR exhaust module for my 2021 amg c43, should be with me in a few days, thanks for the link Adam

What kind of packages do you have on your c43
Mines the UK spec premium pack with a few other little options.
@@ABAUTOAMG so on your screen where you are able to change the exhaust or engine or suspenion like every thing how it looks is that from the premium pkg or the other ones
@@Thebirdemoji The dynamic select screen is standard on every C-Class.
@@trihardcx6743 you think I don't know thst
@@Thebirdemoji Your comment suggested you didn't know that. Why would you ask if you already knew?
Hi man, do I recommend the res delete on c43?
Hi Mate, A few have done this and it sounds pretty crazy but I hear the drone can be a bit unbearable long term.
ABAUTO yeah, but with PE control button, do U think it can eliminates the drone when the exhaust is turned off?
It's stock?
Yep fully stock here with the factory optional AMG performance exhaust.
@@ABAUTOAMG it's crazy!!
@@productionjms Yep! Check out my other vids if you like the sound! :D
Good video straight to the point not talking c##p like the rest..
Exhaust sounds great
But the tail pipes are not connected to the rest of the exhaust let's it down looks cheap.
But to get the sound it has, that's why they do it (I think)
Unfortunately it doesn't do it for me and I never got one for that reason. Shame because I do like the cars.
All the Mercs are the same
Now, the old c63 they should of kept the style I think.
They are nice cars though
Is it only me or does everyone find the “Dynamic” button way too far to access quickly (to switch to Sport+) when needing a short burst of power?! BMW have nailed it by putting their M buttons on the steering wheel (where they should be), anyone find a way round this, please enlighten?
Hey Nadeem, In 2020 onwards models the C43 had a new option for the steering wheel. Buttons to control the exhaust, suspension etc on on side and on the other side a really nice button/scroll wheel to change drive modes. Sounds exactly what you need. I'm not sure on your model but it may be you could have this retro fitted. It is a really nice addition to the steering wheel.
@@ABAUTOAMG Hey HB, thanks for replying, I have a 2018 facelift like yours and honestly it’s so frustrating not having it, I was told that on LHD models it’s a bit better because the dash layout is exactly the same but they didn’t change it for RHD (which puts the dynamic button further), but if you find someone that can do this, PLEAAAAASE let me know, it’s almost pushing me to sell and buy an M car 😞
is it stock?
Yep 100% stock.
Is this with OPF?
Yep the 2019 facelift model I have here has the new particulate filters for the new emissions regs. Still sounds great :)
@@ABAUTOAMG Oh yes it really seems like it kept a lot of its sound :-) Thanks!
They told my dad that he should drive first 1000 miles with fairly low rpm to break in the car. I can tell you that has not happened lol
Haha although I do stand by myself and recommend the 1k run it I'm told it less of an issue these days with modern cars. I'm still a purist though and make sure to run mine in :)
“Turn the exhaust off”😂🤦🏽♂️
Well of course I mean open and close the values! But I like to think of it as turning the exhaust on and off, not literally :)
@@ABAUTOAMG yeah no worries mate I get you that thing sounds so good! Keep up the good content
My dude.... I've got a c250d 4matic 2016 model.... I truly envy you... But why ohh why would you buy a c43 with piano black interior trim??? 🤮🤮🤮
Hi, car was already off the production line when I ordered it so it was too late to change spec. I'm thinking about wrapping it carbon though :)
@@ABAUTOAMG beautiful car mate... Go ahead and wrap that piano black and it's a keeper. That exaust button is a must have on all amg cars.
@@rscmircea1987 Thanks! Yep she's a beaut. Next year will be more small mods. Carbon wrap for sure, maybe some bolder painted calipers too! :)
My c43 amg with stage 2 tuning sound insane. You can check my video out 😁
Your car doesnt have the AMG performance exhaust. Because the steering wheel doesnt have alcentara(cuz they all come in one package), am i right?
Also did you have a mic beside the exhaust outside?
@@vancityismine908 Hi mate, I'm not sure where you heard that my car absolutely has the AMG performance exhaust. If you dont have the exhaust you dont have the button in the center dash. The alcantara steering wheel is not available here in the uk as any option unfortunately. On the inside car driving clips the mic was inside the car to hear how it sounds as the driver mounted with the camera on the back seat. On the outside revs the mic was on the floor by the exhaust :)
@@ABAUTOAMG thanks for clarification, in north america alcantara steering wheel and peformance exhaust are in one package. your c43 definatly sounds great.
@@vancityismine908 Ah, got ya. It is confusing how all the options are different in each country. I wish we had the option for the alcantara wheel, I'd of speced it for sure :)
vancity ismine ur wrong i have a c43 and have the perf exhaust and a leather steering wheel
the best part it those exhaust pipes are fake......
I will admit if done badly, aesthetic tips can look awful as you see the actual exhaust behind them but imo these have been done very well and look brilliant. And like I said, they are a lot easier to maintain. These are just my thoughts though and expect a mixed bag of people agreeing and disagreeing :)
Just buy a C400, change the exhaust for a PE, Mapping to C43, you saved 20k.
Sad to see how much co2 the Mercedes causes.
Sounds average compared to V8
I think you just a show off guy.. I’ve got a lambo, I don’t want to do all this, leave some dignity for your self, you need to do some interesting stuff, besides JUST talking ALL about exhaust and noise, have you got anything else to talk about???
He's just having fun jack ass.
