Aussies love the "old designs" as you call them because they have a live front and rear axles. The only options you have in the US with that are the Jeeps and Grenadiers. IFS is not ideal for off-road unless you are running sand.

We have large flocks of Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos flying over our house quite often. They move in a unique way through the sky.
