I just want to share that some people, who may be on specific dietary restrictions, may not be able to participate in the "no" brand challenge. While one brand includes things the person cannot have, another brand will exclude those. Anyone who may have these issues, will need to continue with their brand. But I'm sure in other areas they can still find ways to change out their brand. I have heard horror stories about Aldi TP though. Don't do it! LOL This is just a reminder for anyone who might get stuck on the idea that they have to do/try this "no brand" challenge, but then feel guilty perhaps b/c they have to have a certain brand due to the ingredients. It's ok to stay with that brand. Again, find other areas in life that you can try out different brands. :) I generally like most of the ideas from this and plan to use some myself. Can't wait to see how it goes!

Eating from "what you have on hand" is deceptive. At one time.or another you had to buy more than you needed therefore wasting money at that time that you took advantage of when you did not grocery shop. It sort of worked out the same. You just spent the money for those unneeded groceries earlier and used those groceries later instead of at purchase.

THE BUDGET MOM thank you for the video. I think you had lots of really great ideas on how to find potential savings in your income. I don’t want to be overly critical, I just made a statement that I felt was Vallet concerning your ability to pull extra money from budgeted expense groups.
