But you should do one over the other based on ur needs like "do u have trouble with perfect taps"? Then go for perfect time etc

what i usually do with later upgrades is use 2 boosts per upgrade until i hit 10% with pity and then brute force from there. if i feel im too unlucky after a few tries i may use boosts again

my way probably isnt the most efficient way but i use 2 boosts every upgrade until the chance of a successful upgrade is 10% or over with pity. you dont really need to use boosts until maybe +9 or smth
you can still get them from the leaderboard ticket shop for 50 tickets apiece (should be doable if you enter weekly leaderboards each week). i dont think theyre replacable because they come with an insane amount of base stats
i think theyre decent for starting out until you start getting legendary blueprints. i personally wouldnt do more than maybe 6 or 7 upgrades on them because you will be replacing them eventually and they just become obsolete once you get legendary pieces that are better in every way

Good video, i watched your older video not too long ago when i found out there is such thing as gear in the game, i was pretty confused, but this video explained it a lot clearer. I do have one question however, is getting tokens really that difficult? 🥲 Im still new to all this gear stuff, and for the few months ive been playing robeats i've only gotten 1 token, i can barely do the weekly missions since they require me to play 28+ level songs and get a high score which i cant get with my current gear. And getting top 20 on the leaderboard is already out of the question. My only option now is to get the tokens through trading 😔 What are some good non-token gear i can invest in before i can craft the legendary gear?
tokens in my opinion arent too hard to get, but they can be hard to get once you need a lot of them i think the best way to get them early on is to join people who have good gear power and are hosting weekly songs (or simply ask them to help), the best time to do this is as soon as weekly leaderboards and missions reset (which is every sunday 1am pst) as much as i dont recommend it, your next option to getting gear without using tokens is gear that can be crafted with rare blueprints. alternatively, there are a few legendary blueprint recipes that dont require tokens (the hat, neck and back pieces for every element), so there is that as well

Im still new to all this gear stuff, and for the few months ive been playing robeats i've only gotten 1 token, i can barely do the weekly missions since they require me to play 28+ level songs and get a high score which i cant get with my current gear. And getting top 20 on the leaderboard is already out of the question. My only option now is to get the tokens through trading 😔
What are some good non-token gear i can invest in before i can craft the legendary gear?
tokens in my opinion arent too hard to get, but they can be hard to get once you need a lot of them
i think the best way to get them early on is to join people who have good gear power and are hosting weekly songs (or simply ask them to help), the best time to do this is as soon as weekly leaderboards and missions reset (which is every sunday 1am pst)
as much as i dont recommend it, your next option to getting gear without using tokens is gear that can be crafted with rare blueprints. alternatively, there are a few legendary blueprint recipes that dont require tokens (the hat, neck and back pieces for every element), so there is that as well
