aotd is incredibly cheap compared to many other weapons. It was one of the first decent swords I ever got my hands on and the immediate upgrade from it was the livid dagger
@@polerice8350the progression in this video is really bad (he did say that though) so I wouldn’t go off of that, also some of the weapons are really mid for how much they cost or how hard they are to get (idk what it is rn, but when I used felthorn reaper, it was 70m)
Hey man, thank you so much for these videos. They are extremely helpful in our skyblock journey and they are structured and edited in a way that makes the tutorial so enjoyable to watch. Keep it up!
That's in the next video! I didn't put it in the non-dungeon guide because I feel like the gyro really only comes into play then, but when it does, it works WONDERS
Few things to note: -The game stage progressions are not the same as actual game progression as you technically would not be out of early game until you have hyperion and terminator. However he organizes them a little more spread out for the video, and game stages depend a lot on skills and slayers instead of gear. Gear progression can be easily skipped if you have the money, but game stages are calculated based on skills. So you might see early game people with hyperions because they have money. -A lot of those swords have dungeon requirements so you still have to do dungeons for them -Etherwarp can be added to aote, not just aotv -Add transmission tuners right as you get a aote (its like 200k) and ultimate wise (2.5mil)
Yeah I just add in the "early, mid, late & end" game labels to organise the video easier, but as you said, you're typically going to get "end game weapons" in the late game so that you can actually reach "end game", which is a different thing entirely
great vid, super helpful and reminded me I still don't have a zombie sword. I would really like an armour progression guide tho. Survivability is the reason I can't do a lot of things in this game.
Skyblock levels is one of the best ways to get survivability. Say a lvl 150 player would have around 600 more base hp than someone at lvl 50. And most of survivability also comes from healing like the wands of healing, zombie sword, and eventually gloomlock grimoire
Gj with the guides they are really useful and as someone mentioned your editing style takes it even further than other content creators. Could you also do an armor progression guide and equipment? Ik it’s tricky cause equipment is used in so many different ways but maybe a separate video only about equipment if you hadn’t made one already. Anyways thanks for always putting up!
Armour is on its way! I'll have comparisons out in March and the actual guides in May. I have plenty of other stuff lined up in between these videos too :)
In 13:00 he talks about how gsword is only good if you have endgame stats. while this is technically true, and you should never value weapons over mp, pets or armor since they give a lot of passive stats (unlike weapons which you need to hold), the damage difference between gsword and sf is ~20% more dmg no matter what gear you have. You need to look at dmg differences as a %increase and not a flat number increase since the dmg stat is multiplied by all other stats.
That would be a shadow fury, bouquet of lies, or felthorn reaper, because BoL and Felthorn have more range and Shadow Fury is a drastic upgrade in damage and dps
I think there’s one flaw he said you can immediately go for felthorn bouquet or shadow fury right after aotd but the reaper and bouquet both require floor 6 completion and even tho the shadow fury is floor 5 completion but it’s 40mil so the point is you should 100% go for livid dagger right after aotd
and where is the enrager??? Its better than every other weapon on this list and costs less than the rogue sword. I also recomend using a lvl 1 common jerry with green elf jerry skin as a helmet, a lvl 1 common sheep with neon yellow skin and a Giant fishing rod is amazing for early game dps on hub zombies. Its also a great choice to put a Hegemony artifact in your inventory not in accessory bag as a mid game talisman.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I classified these weapons in 4 categories but it doesn't mean you should be in said categories to get the weapons. Yes, the Terminator is an 'end game bow' because there quite literally is no better upgrade, but you should be looking to get one near the start of Late Game. The juju is the same thing, since it's the 2nd last upgrade in bow progression then I'd class it as "late game" (since the spirit bow is mid game and the dragon shortbow is early game), but you wanna look to obtain one near the late-mid game stages
Runaan's bow is not a worthwhile upgrade in any capacity due to it requiring you to pull back the bow, the DPS on the dragon shortbow, not even accounting for bonus attack speed and the ability to star it and dungeonize it now, the Dragon Shortbow is just better
I might have a litte crazy request but is it possible to make a whole progression guide covering everything ? Like i play skyblock a lot not constant but my profile is 3 years old or something like this and i dont habe a clue what is early mid late or endgame becausr i came out of touch with it and there is no video covering what are and what counts as these stages and what you should do and get overall and what you should focus on. I would love a video like that and i think you would be the right person to do so because your content is entertaining and interesing and with research and easy to follow. Like i said it would be nice and there is currently no video out there and it would help a lot of people like me. Thanks for reading like if you agree so he might see and do it.

Amazing editing style, but I would say the progression is a little wonky. That said I would say spirit bow is inbetween dragon shortbow and juju, while aotv, juju, term, and enderman slayer are downplayed on difficulty, making it seem much easier to complete but can take weeks to grind. This would make t5-7 eman be late game and t1-t4 are more mid-game. Coupled with the fact that midgame was said to have had shadow fury (a 50m coin sword for MIDgame) and little emphasis on accessories(mp) makes the video seem like a disingenuous weapon progression for the average player. That being said, the video was nicely edited and well put together! I hope that comments like these make future videos better for the audience to learn from! Peace!
A couple of things you need to realise: - Part two of this video has all of the bow progression (I have a dedicated archer segment). This is where I cover the spirit shortbow - I don't consider difficulty with things like eman slayer because that varies from player to player, this is more just a "this is the next upgrade". Sure, the next upgrade could take WEEKS to grind, but it doesn't change it from being the next upgrade - Emphasis on accessories and MP has nothing to do with weapon progression. This video is STRICTLY a WEAPON progression guide, not a "here's how you should play skyblock from early game to end game". If that were the case, this video would be 4 hours long... - 50M coins for a mid game weapon is absolutely affordable, but even then, "mid game" is misleading. As I mentioned in the intro, I labelled things by "early, mid, late and end" game to make the video easy to follow, not so people literally think "oh so hyperion is end game then". Basically, because the hyperion/term are the final upgrades for their categories, they kind of have to be "end game" even though they're typically obtained in the late game. This same logic can be applied to the SF, as it comes after the Void Sword, AOTE and AOTD, but before the GS & Claymore. With this logic, it's "somewhere in the middle", hence the "mid game" label. Hopefully this clears things up. Feel free to reach out on discord if you had more questions or anything because I might miss your replies
I didn't touch up on mage weapons since they're honestly kind of pointless outside of dungeons until a hyperion. Sure, you can use it to kill a few mobs here and there and they have weird niche cases, but typically, slayers are the big out of dungeons thing you're going to do. The Aurora staff (and other mage weapons) tend to suck for this so melee is usually the way to go
The aspect of the end can use the etherwarp conduit on it, use the conduit and the etherwarp merger on an aspect of the end have no requirement to craft I found out this on my profile. The requirement is only on aspect of the void But still a great video❤️
I have a warped Aote and a livid dagger with full necron armor, should i get shadow fury or should I skip it and try and get my enderman slayer up until I can craft an Aotv? Any tips is appreciated!
It shouldn't matter what you're classified as, what matters is that you're comfortably doing what you want to be doing. I'd argue both the livid and 3/4 SA isn't the greatest options, and there's a reason why I didn't even mention the livid in this video. 3/4 SA is bad for other reasons which I'll cover in my armour videos that I'll follow up with. You don't HAVE to replace them asap, but looking into an upgrade would be beneficial to you

But do you not need to complete dungeons to use most of these weapins after AOTD? I'm a bit confused, because I thought that this was a video for weapons to use outside of dungeons, but I have to do dungeons to unlock them and use them?

I have a warped Aote and a livid dagger with full necron armor, should i get shadow fury or should I skip it and try and get my enderman slayer up until I can craft an Aotv? Any tips is appreciated!
I'm the same as you, but I was already planning to buy a giant sword.
my tips: dont listen to his guide to it being bad.
Omg I love u. Thank u soo much fir those vid
what resource pack is this? This looks amazing
Check the description
i like aspect of the jerry with soul eater
ModernSoldier, do you still play Wynncraft? I notice you haven’t logged on in a while and have closed the Frostburn discord server
Great video, just wondering, did you forget about necromancer weapons? or did you not consider them good enough for the video?
No bc they are dogshit
Sorry that was a bit aggressive lol
I dont know if i should call myself late or midgame but is having livid dagger bad or good? I also have 3/4 shadow assasin armor
You don't HAVE to replace them asap, but looking into an upgrade would be beneficial to you
I’m not gunna lie your early game
Tbh sa + livid dagger is around early mid game
What texture pack you rockin? Looks sick asf
Furfsky reborn
do you have any opinions on the ragnarock axe?
Pro tip: a mercenaries axe from Rosetta can speed up the gap From undead to void.
can you do a fairy souls guide sometime? im brand new and this guide helped me alot so far!
use the notenoughupdates mod and use its fairy soul waypoints
Perfect just came back to the game after a few years and had no clue what to do after livid dagger
thx for those really helpfull insight in the weapon progression system :3 i started hypixel skyblock like 2-5 days ago and this helped me alot.....
i'm still running araound with the ribechaaa armor out of diamond and trying to find my way in to the combat system of 1.8
anything i should consider in the really really early stages of the game that i should prioritize for?
and the bank system with the museum i don't rly get it what i should do with the museum....
can you do a video about account stats and base stats?
Endgame without aotv is crazy
Why is that so
Fr
you don’t need an aotv
He talks about aotv in late game
i agree
But do you not need to complete dungeons to use most of these weapins after AOTD? I'm a bit confused, because I thought that this was a video for weapons to use outside of dungeons, but I have to do dungeons to unlock them and use them?
Yea, just do f5 for shadow fury. It’s super ez
