They really need to get rid of the idiotic time extension. Make 20 minutes actually 20 minutes or make it explicit that games are actually a hair over 20 mins. The outcome at least worked out favourably in this particular video as the green team did have more points when time ‘expired’, but it isn’t consistent. I’ve had games where we were barely ahead when the time hit zero... and then the game kept on going for another 5 fucking seconds, letting the enemy overtake us in the overtime to steal an undeserved win. It’s the same thing in WoT and it’s completely unfun.

That's typical that you as a fellow German feel you have to make excuses. As a neighbour (Dutch) I feel I have to convey to you, that many Dutch love working with Germans, going on holidays in Germany and enjoy the company of German friends. Trust me when I say: there are people out there who can think beyond the sterotypes. And well, whiners are among even the bst of people and there's really no excuse for that, other than a lack of self reflection or character. XVM & Matchmaking Monitor don't take into account the Hawethorne Effect - as soon as someone is aware of the experiment, the experiment becomes invalid. As soon as players are aware of their chances, the data becomes invalid because their play style changes as a result of knowing the data.
Yep, I know mine did. I don't use it any more -- having to reinstall the mod after each update and reengage the site every 2 or 4 weeks is too much of a hassle for this filthy casual -- but when I did, I steered myself towards the less skilled players and kept myself the hell away from the very skilled players. Unfortunately, this never really worked out as all it did was give me a crisis of confidence every time someone with a better colour rating than me showed up. It made me panic, where as not knowing, you try your luck and you take your chances.

We are there already. Apart from the information being public about everyone. Of course, while predictions like there are useful, they are only useful if you know how to use them. So, there is a 90% that candidate A will be right for the job going by the data, wile candidate B will be right for the job by only 80%, which one should you hire? Candidate A shows up for the interview in a smelly T-shirt and dirty jeans, because they know their stats are better than B. B on the other hand makes an effort. I know who will get the job. because B clearly want to make up for their deficiencies, while A will just sit back and do their bare minimum. In time, B will improve and become better than A.
Back when I played WOT, it was quite helpful. As Jingles pointed out, it often did allow me to understand my opponent better. A took more chances with a poor player and was a lot more careful with a good player. That said, I never gave up a fight regardless of how little chance the XVM calculated for me - at some point I even disabled that feature and only kept the part where the players were color-graded as well as last known positions etc.
@Tobias Time Yeah, I find that crazy as well, just winning or losing shouldn't impact base xp that heavily. Should instead be added as a modifier afterwards.

The thing is, if you run MM and give up if things look bad, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Which in turn, distorts the stats MM uses to do what it does and reduces its accuracy. To paraphrase Jingles, you lose 100% of the battles you don't fight and give up on.
i wonder how did Wargaming react to this Horror scenario? did they call a emergency meeting to discuss the fact that a CV died first? and did they figure out what buff CV need to make sure it doesnt happen again?
IIRC flamu has several thousand points of positive karma on his eu account. So, I'd say that you can easily farm karma, if you are good enough, EVEN if you are a toxic potato.

Well given how influential CVs are, having your team's CV suicide at the very start of the battle is going to cause your team to lose most of the time.

@@guidobolke5618 Depends on the team. CV can be nothing or a game-breaker. CV is OP because if you had a skill difference between the two players then it's painfully apparent. If there is a skill difference between two other ships, the overall effect on the game is not so influential.
That would be true if he played with the same other players every game of those 40 games, but he didn't, so he didn't. He did definitely bring a whole lot of players WR down in 76% of the games he played in MVR, but it would be fractions of % points for each of them given how many overall games we are talking :). Having said that, I don't want him on my team :P

I had a match like that the other day. I don't run XVM, but it was clear that we were outgunned. The remaining three of us managed to get on the cap and win, with shells flying all around us from the other team's 8 surviving members.
@@plektosgaming The problem with people relying on stats is that people don't understand how stats actually work. The old, introductory level example with a coin flip demonstrates this: a fair coin will, over a large enough number of flips, average heads 50% of the time. That doesn't mean that if you get tails on your first flip, you must get heads on the next, or even if you've flipped tails 99 times in a row that the 100th has to be heads. People not understanding this is how casinos make money. Stats like those produced by XVM are predictive over a number of games. If you have a 40% win rate, if you play 10 games you'd expect to win, say, 3 to 5 of them. Those stats don't necessarily tell you anything about a _single_ game. As noted, everyone has seen games where everything works just right, and a team that normally would be expected to have lost utterly curb-stomps the opposition. I don't get to play WoT or WoW very often so I'm a pretty mediocre player, but back in March I was playing a game with my Hellcat. Pretty blah, one kill, some other damage, but then there was just me and the arty against 6, three of them with multiple kills, so not complete potatos. I pulled back into cover overlooking the cap, he was jammed in the corner as far back as he could get. Unlike some arties that would scream at me to go spot, he was the one saying to wait. If they'd rushed us at once, we were screwed. If _two_ had rushed at once, we were screwed. Instead, they came one at a time, so if I needed multiple shots to take out one tank, even if it spotted me there was no one to take advantage. In two and half minutes I killed five of them, for the best result I'd ever had in a game. I should have killed the last one, but I had to come out and to fight him since he knew where I had to be and I fluffed what likely was the kill shot, he killed me, but then the arty nailed him from behind at close range for the win. My arty had only fired two shots in that entire end sequence: the final one, and one earlier when I'd tracked a KV-2 with a fair bit of health and we had to take it out before the next tank showed up. He wasn't interested in farming damage or claiming kills, so he deliberately held fire, even when he had the shot, when it looked like I was handling the tank I was engaging. Even for the last tank, when I had it clearly spotted and it was in one place playing peek-a-boo with me, he held fire and instead moved into position so he had a clear, close range shot into the enemy's ass about two seconds after I bit it. In probably 99 games out of a 100, we'd have lost. Both the arty and I were average players, we were outnumbered and outgunned. But because of the map we were on, the side of the map our cap was on, the way they spaced out their attacks instead of waiting and moving at once, the damage they'd already taken, the fact I'd pumped up the view range on the Hellcat so could see them first, that their artillery didn't try blind-firing the usual spots where we'd likely be (and were) and instead rushed forward for a share in the glory and, probably most importantly, the fact the arty player wanted to win more than he wanted to improve his personal score, we won.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your videos. Your battle reviews are allways fun and interesting to watch and are one of the main reasons I started playing WoWs last week. Your videos, together with the videos from Flambass and Flamu, really helped giving me a good understanding of the game and of the basic do and don't of the various classes and so far I'm really having a blast. I picked german DDs as my starting tech tree and so far I'm doing pretty well I think. I'm up to tier 6 since yesterday and have a 67% Random Battle Win rate so far, mainly because the infos I got from watching all those battle reports helped me avoid doing many mistakes a rookie would normaly do.
Don't care what your WR is, if you're trying and communicating effectively, I can't fault you in-game. Seen plenty of amazing top-table performances by players with deceptively poor stats. The attitude however... most mouthpieces in-game are dreadful (anecdotal but seen it enough times to almost predict it).
The rewards just for winning is a bit too high me thinks. But sometimes if you soak up damage early on that actually gives your team an advantage, and the time used to kill the exp pinjata was definitely time the team could use to get into position and start doing damage to real players.
IMO winning should have a huge boost to what you already make. IE if you do enough to earn a hundred, winning makes 200. But if you earn 0, you still get zero.
The xp and credit reward for winning and losing should be separate from the performance. Winners get 500xp/50000creds or whatever and losers 250/25000 (adjusted for tier). Then how you do would give a separate reward based solely on your performance and there you SHOULD be rewarded equally for damage, spotting, tanking, capping, defence etc. Nowadays the rewards seem entirely out of whack and the xp reward that cv received is a good indicator of it.
@@tumppu1975 The problem is that you either end up in a situation where you get "too much" reward just for winning even if you are bad, _or_ the game becomes a hunt for experience regardless if you win or lose. It is impossible to have both. Honestly, I think the games (tanks and warships) are pretty decently balanced given that a good performance in a wininng team gets a bigger reward than a mediocre perfomance on the winning team. A bad performance will never get a decen reward in either game.
I like these kind of endings; down to the last second and many win/loss conditions happening at the same time yet the replay shows a win. No allied ships alive yet they win on the buzzer because of points coupled with reasonably smart players trying there best to disengage from a carrier and 2 cruisers. GG to them for a hard fought win.
As far as I understand, my uncle served upon HMAS Vampire II (D11) as a CPO, and a radar tech. One of the few times I have a familial connection to something, and it is in a game I can no longer stomach playing.

The MM monitor does not understand that players who actually know how to play (such as moose) have a disproportionate effect on the teams chances actually winning. And what do you know, moose has a 68% winrate in the most influential ship type after CVs so an "upset" was always in the cards anyway. These people need to understand the context of the numbers they are seeing.

mamy IRL pilots can't do a immelman well. why should the AI pilots do better? If Captain incompitent wants his planes to do Immelmans he should be playing WarThunder or Flight sim.
Actually Jingles... a 7% average WR difference between teams means an almost certain defeat. People have done large scale statistical analysis on the MM. 0-3% difference in average WR is reasonable good chance for either team to win. 5-7% is almost always a loss for the worse team. Note that I don't run MMM and I always tryhard. I'm just saying. If the MM wasn't broken there should never be a gap like that between teams.
As long as you give it your best that's all one can do. That's why I stopped using xvm, started having better games once I stopped caring about stats. Especially since recent statistics can very wildly from what's shown. For example my friend's overall stats are like 50% wnr but in the past 1k battles he averages like almost 60%. So you never really know
@@Frost_Saber That's not how that works. 20% would be their chance to win in Random Battles, with random teammates with random winrates and skill levels. The premise of stacking 15 such players on one team meanwhile is definitely not random.
Amazing. Once you remove Zulu from the calculations, his teams odds of success jump to 48.35. Assuming they had a slightly above average player to replace him (55% or so) They almost make 49%. That means that the margin of difference under those circumstances could be equalized by a lucky citadel or poorly timed fire.

Had no idea about this mod and why there is so much stat shaming. I like the game and like playing the game and hate how WOW and the players treat the game. I've had team mates give my location before to the enemy team, due to not doing what they wanted me to do. When it comes down to gaming in todays world, nothing is shocking anymore. It's just expected to have a twat or two in your team. This however was brilliant to watch :D
Next: CV's posting their PayPal link to get donations from their team or the enemy team in the battle chat. Depending on which team pays more, they suicide or not.

Does that stat thing look at your win rate in that particular ship? Because if everyone else on his team had 50% win rates, the presence of the carrier with his 24% win rate is enough to drag the teams average win rate down to 47.8%.
3 years later, Zulu2scroot is still at it. With 78 battles in the Immelmann now, his win rate stands at 28.21% in the ship, while his PR is an amazing...(wait for it)...0. He's sunk 4 ships in those 78 games. Total. I really wish WarGaming would actually police their games.
Guide to understanding stats of players below 40% - stay away they may torp you 40-48% generally are mostly non-serious players they just wanna have fun or new player trying to learn the game 49-53% who are good but not consistent have times brain farts but generally doing the right thing 54-60% above players those who play around their teams' randomness these guys can adapt no 1 likes to lose but some1 will we all need to be gentlemen about it.

a 7% difference in win rating between teams of 12 players is actually quite huge, from a statistical standpoint. Not that that justifies any of the baby rage. As you stated earlier, you lose 100% (mostly) of the games you don't play, and one of the best ways to lower your own W/L is to simply throw matches. I mean, at least save the bitching till the end of the match ;p
Mind, it is interesting that you see quite a number of these matches where there seems to be some major stacking of the odds somehow against one team. Be it all the radar-ships being only on one team or all the players with under 50% win-rates being on one team and all the players on the other averaging over 50% WR, the MM for these MMOs are clearly capable of grossly uneven matching. Really makes one wonder what really is going on behind those closed doors of companies like Wargaming and Gaijin.

Slight correction @The Mighty Jingles - THERE IS something like XVM in World of Warships. It's bundled in a particularly popular mod pack that isn't Modstation and almost does the same job. I came across a player that called my WR and PR out right at the start of a game and instructed his team to focus me out. Thing was he called it out really quickly after I'd been spotted and took half his HP so I got curious and did some digging and sure enough, there is an integrated Stats Mod doing the rounds. I installed it to give it a look and what would you know it, it shows WR to the left of the players name and PR to the right right over the sodding ship! They even colour coded the bugger with Red-Green-Blue-Purple because it was such a great addition to WoT and caused no problems what so ever😂 Did manage to test and confirm, simply set your Account to private and hide your stats and the mod can go spin so at least that's something. WG also changed how Private Stats work. You have the option to allow Clan mates to still see it so they aren't hidden in clan section. Look for the check box if you're changing it on the site.

They really need to get rid of the idiotic time extension. Make 20 minutes actually 20 minutes or make it explicit that games are actually a hair over 20 mins.
The outcome at least worked out favourably in this particular video as the green team did have more points when time ‘expired’, but it isn’t consistent. I’ve had games where we were barely ahead when the time hit zero... and then the game kept on going for another 5 fucking seconds, letting the enemy overtake us in the overtime to steal an undeserved win. It’s the same thing in WoT and it’s completely unfun.

XVM & Matchmaking Monitor don't take into account the Hawethorne Effect - as soon as someone is aware of the experiment, the experiment becomes invalid. As soon as players are aware of their chances, the data becomes invalid because their play style changes as a result of knowing the data.
Yep, I know mine did. I don't use it any more -- having to reinstall the mod after each update and reengage the site every 2 or 4 weeks is too much of a hassle for this filthy casual -- but when I did, I steered myself towards the less skilled players and kept myself the hell away from the very skilled players. Unfortunately, this never really worked out as all it did was give me a crisis of confidence every time someone with a better colour rating than me showed up. It made me panic, where as not knowing, you try your luck and you take your chances.
On the other hand I find it invaluable to know which are the most dangerous players on the enemy team. That way I can pick my fights more carefully.

Back when I played WOT, it was quite helpful. As Jingles pointed out, it often did allow me to understand my opponent better. A took more chances with a poor player and was a lot more careful with a good player. That said, I never gave up a fight regardless of how little chance the XVM calculated for me - at some point I even disabled that feature and only kept the part where the players were color-graded as well as last known positions etc.

The thing is, if you run MM and give up if things look bad, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Which in turn, distorts the stats MM uses to do what it does and reduces its accuracy. To paraphrase Jingles, you lose 100% of the battles you don't fight and give up on.

@@tumppu1975 i played basicly only vermont since cpt rework til 2 weeks ago, and i lost +80 karma, if you hit 60k ish salvos you get report by the target, if it is a close game the team reports you because you cant teleport from A to C, i literally lost almost 100 points this year by having great games and being top of scoreboard most of the time, even on my 330k dmg record with kraken i had reports haha, wows karma just mirrors how many idiots or good people you met online, dont give this silly counter any value, cheers.

@@guidobolke5618 Depends on the team. CV can be nothing or a game-breaker. CV is OP because if you had a skill difference between the two players then it's painfully apparent. If there is a skill difference between two other ships, the overall effect on the game is not so influential.
That would be true if he played with the same other players every game of those 40 games, but he didn't, so he didn't. He did definitely bring a whole lot of players WR down in 76% of the games he played in MVR, but it would be fractions of % points for each of them given how many overall games we are talking :). Having said that, I don't want him on my team :P

D11 is an actual ship, she is HMAS Vampire, a Daring class destroyer of the Royal Australian NAVY and is currently a museum ship at Darling harbor maritime museum, Sydney Australia.
XVM and win probability - I remember playing and our top tier light tank said "3% win chance fuck you all" and suicided. We won that game.

Which is why I didn't use XVM after WoT, as it brings out the worst in players. Best way to win is to coordinate together.
I had a match like that the other day. I don't run XVM, but it was clear that we were outgunned. The remaining three of us managed to get on the cap and win, with shells flying all around us from the other team's 8 surviving members.
@@plektosgaming The problem with people relying on stats is that people don't understand how stats actually work. The old, introductory level example with a coin flip demonstrates this: a fair coin will, over a large enough number of flips, average heads 50% of the time. That doesn't mean that if you get tails on your first flip, you must get heads on the next, or even if you've flipped tails 99 times in a row that the 100th has to be heads. People not understanding this is how casinos make money. Stats like those produced by XVM are predictive over a number of games. If you have a 40% win rate, if you play 10 games you'd expect to win, say, 3 to 5 of them. Those stats don't necessarily tell you anything about a _single_ game. As noted, everyone has seen games where everything works just right, and a team that normally would be expected to have lost utterly curb-stomps the opposition.
I don't get to play WoT or WoW very often so I'm a pretty mediocre player, but back in March I was playing a game with my Hellcat. Pretty blah, one kill, some other damage, but then there was just me and the arty against 6, three of them with multiple kills, so not complete potatos. I pulled back into cover overlooking the cap, he was jammed in the corner as far back as he could get. Unlike some arties that would scream at me to go spot, he was the one saying to wait. If they'd rushed us at once, we were screwed. If _two_ had rushed at once, we were screwed. Instead, they came one at a time, so if I needed multiple shots to take out one tank, even if it spotted me there was no one to take advantage. In two and half minutes I killed five of them, for the best result I'd ever had in a game. I should have killed the last one, but I had to come out and to fight him since he knew where I had to be and I fluffed what likely was the kill shot, he killed me, but then the arty nailed him from behind at close range for the win. My arty had only fired two shots in that entire end sequence: the final one, and one earlier when I'd tracked a KV-2 with a fair bit of health and we had to take it out before the next tank showed up. He wasn't interested in farming damage or claiming kills, so he deliberately held fire, even when he had the shot, when it looked like I was handling the tank I was engaging. Even for the last tank, when I had it clearly spotted and it was in one place playing peek-a-boo with me, he held fire and instead moved into position so he had a clear, close range shot into the enemy's ass about two seconds after I bit it.
In probably 99 games out of a 100, we'd have lost. Both the arty and I were average players, we were outnumbered and outgunned. But because of the map we were on, the side of the map our cap was on, the way they spaced out their attacks instead of waiting and moving at once, the damage they'd already taken, the fact I'd pumped up the view range on the Hellcat so could see them first, that their artillery didn't try blind-firing the usual spots where we'd likely be (and were) and instead rushed forward for a share in the glory and, probably most importantly, the fact the arty player wanted to win more than he wanted to improve his personal score, we won.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your videos. Your battle reviews are allways fun and interesting to watch and are one of the main reasons I started playing WoWs last week. Your videos, together with the videos from Flambass and Flamu, really helped giving me a good understanding of the game and of the basic do and don't of the various classes and so far I'm really having a blast. I picked german DDs as my starting tech tree and so far I'm doing pretty well I think. I'm up to tier 6 since yesterday and have a 67% Random Battle Win rate so far, mainly because the infos I got from watching all those battle reports helped me avoid doing many mistakes a rookie would normaly do.
Pretty sure the Vampire II is just the HMAS Vampire currently floating about at the maritime museum in Sydney
Correct. They call it Vampire II because there’s an older HMAS Vampire in the game at tier 3.
Don't care what your WR is, if you're trying and communicating effectively, I can't fault you in-game. Seen plenty of amazing top-table performances by players with deceptively poor stats. The attitude however... most mouthpieces in-game are dreadful (anecdotal but seen it enough times to almost predict it).
And even so, the guy who suicided at the very start without doing any damage, still got more XP than half the enemy team.
The rewards just for winning is a bit too high me thinks. But sometimes if you soak up damage early on that actually gives your team an advantage, and the time used to kill the exp pinjata was definitely time the team could use to get into position and start doing damage to real players.
More XP than the FDR which nearly won it...
IMO winning should have a huge boost to what you already make. IE if you do enough to earn a hundred, winning makes 200. But if you earn 0, you still get zero.
The xp and credit reward for winning and losing should be separate from the performance. Winners get 500xp/50000creds or whatever and losers 250/25000 (adjusted for tier). Then how you do would give a separate reward based solely on your performance and there you SHOULD be rewarded equally for damage, spotting, tanking, capping, defence etc. Nowadays the rewards seem entirely out of whack and the xp reward that cv received is a good indicator of it.
@@tumppu1975 The problem is that you either end up in a situation where you get "too much" reward just for winning even if you are bad, _or_ the game becomes a hunt for experience regardless if you win or lose.
It is impossible to have both.
Honestly, I think the games (tanks and warships) are pretty decently balanced given that a good performance in a wininng team gets a bigger reward than a mediocre perfomance on the winning team.
A bad performance will never get a decen reward in either game.
I like these kind of endings; down to the last second and many win/loss conditions happening at the same time yet the replay shows a win. No allied ships alive yet they win on the buzzer because of points coupled with reasonably smart players trying there best to disengage from a carrier and 2 cruisers. GG to them for a hard fought win.

As far as I understand, my uncle served upon HMAS Vampire II (D11) as a CPO, and a radar tech. One of the few times I have a familial connection to something, and it is in a game I can no longer stomach playing.

The MM monitor does not understand that players who actually know how to play (such as moose) have a disproportionate effect on the teams chances actually winning.
And what do you know, moose has a 68% winrate in the most influential ship type after CVs so an "upset" was always in the cards anyway. These people need to understand the context of the numbers they are seeing.

Actually Jingles... a 7% average WR difference between teams means an almost certain defeat. People have done large scale statistical analysis on the MM. 0-3% difference in average WR is reasonable good chance for either team to win. 5-7% is almost always a loss for the worse team. Note that I don't run MMM and I always tryhard. I'm just saying. If the MM wasn't broken there should never be a gap like that between teams.

As long as you give it your best that's all one can do. That's why I stopped using xvm, started having better games once I stopped caring about stats. Especially since recent statistics can very wildly from what's shown. For example my friend's overall stats are like 50% wnr but in the past 1k battles he averages like almost 60%. So you never really know

Amazing. Once you remove Zulu from the calculations, his teams odds of success jump to 48.35. Assuming they had a slightly above average player to replace him (55% or so) They almost make 49%. That means that the margin of difference under those circumstances could be equalized by a lucky citadel or poorly timed fire.

Had no idea about this mod and why there is so much stat shaming. I like the game and like playing the game and hate how WOW and the players treat the game. I've had team mates give my location before to the enemy team, due to not doing what they wanted me to do. When it comes down to gaming in todays world, nothing is shocking anymore. It's just expected to have a twat or two in your team. This however was brilliant to watch :D
Very much enjoyed this video. This sentiment is echoed across the many games i play.
Next: CV's posting their PayPal link to get donations from their team or the enemy team in the battle chat. Depending on which team pays more, they suicide or not.

Does that stat thing look at your win rate in that particular ship? Because if everyone else on his team had 50% win rates, the presence of the carrier with his 24% win rate is enough to drag the teams average win rate down to 47.8%.
You can see it in the end, it does both- avg in playing ships AND avg. per account(s) in general in next collumn
3 years later, Zulu2scroot is still at it. With 78 battles in the Immelmann now, his win rate stands at 28.21% in the ship, while his PR is an amazing...(wait for it)...0.
He's sunk 4 ships in those 78 games. Total.

Guide to understanding stats of players
below 40% - stay away they may torp you
40-48% generally are mostly non-serious players they just wanna have fun or new player trying to learn the game
49-53% who are good but not consistent have times brain farts but generally doing the right thing
54-60% above players those who play around their teams' randomness these guys can adapt
no 1 likes to lose but some1 will we all need to be gentlemen about it.

a 7% difference in win rating between teams of 12 players is actually quite huge, from a statistical standpoint.
Not that that justifies any of the baby rage. As you stated earlier, you lose 100% (mostly) of the games you don't play, and one of the best ways to lower your own W/L is to simply throw matches.
I mean, at least save the bitching till the end of the match ;p
Mind, it is interesting that you see quite a number of these matches where there seems to be some major stacking of the odds somehow against one team. Be it all the radar-ships being only on one team or all the players with under 50% win-rates being on one team and all the players on the other averaging over 50% WR, the MM for these MMOs are clearly capable of grossly uneven matching. Really makes one wonder what really is going on behind those closed doors of companies like Wargaming and Gaijin.

Jingles actually knowing that switzerland speaks German (beside French and italian and "Rätoromanisch") deserves kudos - Most people dont know that or just ... forget about switzerland while they talk about something that is a speciality of the swiss people or nation :D So to that end, dear jingles - as a swiss, i salute you... from the top of the mountain with a SIG 550 in my hand ;-)
And yes jingles, his grammar is really bad - typical for a german ragekid i have to say. And that comes from someone with not the best grammar himself :D

Slight correction @The Mighty Jingles - THERE IS something like XVM in World of Warships. It's bundled in a particularly popular mod pack that isn't Modstation and almost does the same job. I came across a player that called my WR and PR out right at the start of a game and instructed his team to focus me out. Thing was he called it out really quickly after I'd been spotted and took half his HP so I got curious and did some digging and sure enough, there is an integrated Stats Mod doing the rounds. I installed it to give it a look and what would you know it, it shows WR to the left of the players name and PR to the right right over the sodding ship! They even colour coded the bugger with Red-Green-Blue-Purple because it was such a great addition to WoT and caused no problems what so ever😂
Did manage to test and confirm, simply set your Account to private and hide your stats and the mod can go spin so at least that's something. WG also changed how Private Stats work. You have the option to allow Clan mates to still see it so they aren't hidden in clan section. Look for the check box if you're changing it on the site.
