- We're down in Lurgan for a walk around. We haven't been here for probably decades. I readily admit that i do not know Lurgan at all. The views you see are on Market Street and further down on to High Street.
Brilliant video mate, very interesting indeed,so much history.i haven't been in lurgan in a few years now, must give it a go in the summer.👏👍
I live in Lurgan
great where i was born and brought up, down by the Church to the right to Shore Road Often thought about the place ,regretted the sectarianism ,but never forgot the craic and indeed the inherent tolerance of ordinary people .Keep up the good work Tom
I too look back with great fondness to Windsor Terrace in Banbridge where i lived for my first 18 or so years. Really happy memories really good friends made. Many are long gone. My dad and mum treated everyone the same. We never thought of religious differences back then We were shielded from the Troubles too. As ever many thanks Tony.
This is sooooo nostalgic
" Will ye no come back again? Ethan! Unfortunately when you do you expect to see the same faces and hear the same voices but most of them will be gone or have got so much older. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
Ok
Lurgan a great place sweetheart or ex came from there ❤will always cherish his sweet nature blue eyes and black hair all the best for him and family
What a nice comment to make Lasusulu. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
The town hall used to be a police station
Hey William thanks for that. I'm afraid don't no much about Lurgan even though I'm originally from Banbridge. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
loads of no parking areas and empty shops?
I'm afraid Lurgam is not alone in this. All towns particularly east of the Bann have declined in a similar way. Lockdown and the inevitable bankrupsy it brings will kill off even more towns and village life. Best wishes from Belfast.
I live there I like the mcdonalds around Rushmere
I meant around the corner😅
Right, Sci-Fice. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
No worries.
