SmashEX Entertainment wrong, Michael Cera does actually know how to play the bass, he even has an album. Although Mark Webber and Alison Pill did have to learn their instruments/vocals.

6:15 actually, here's an interesting trivia bit I think you might find funny. The light switch was just part of the frat house they filmed the party scene at, and actually puzzled the director and the crew when they saw it 😂 though if they purposefully shot that scene to include the light switch for that symbolism, that's pretty ingenious
My favorite movie of all time was Pacific Rim, and it stayed that way FOR YEARS. And so far, Scott Pilgrim has been the only movie able to surpass it in my eyes. Ive seen this movie so many times in the past month and yet each time its just as endearing and eyecatching.
Envy commenting on Scott's hair is also a callback to how they broke up. His hair was shaggy and she told him to get a haircut. She's twisting the knife because he broke her heart just as badly as she broke his.
You missed two wins: Chris Evans Doesn't Even Care, and Chris Evans is Always a Win. And you should probably give Ellen Wong a bunch of bonus wins because she steals every scene she's in.
10:08 this lucas lee scene is hilarious to me because both of his hands are occupied when he picks up the phone; a gun in one hand and the other has the phone. when he dials the number in the background you can see him do it, and even though he has a free hand available he pokes the numpad with the end of his gun. Terrible gun safety, excellent bit!
You should pass some of your positivity to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise! I really love the amount of positivity you spread, watching your videos really brightens my day. I don't even know a lot of the movies I watch you cover, I just love your enthusiasm in everything you do. Keep making great quality content, and congratulations on the baby!
I have a theory that in the Scott pilgrim universe, Fighting is an average thing. These kinds of fights are normal and expected in everyday activites. Think about how chill Walice is for every fight scene
You left out my favourite gag in the movie, especially there for Torontonians. Our city gets used as a stand in for New York a lot, so during the fight with Chris Evans, Scott gets punched through the backdrop, and for a second, you see the CN Tower where the Empire State Building used to be. I watched the movie on a trip to Boston, and I was the only one in the theatre cracking up about that.
When Scott went "I learned the baseline from Final Fantasy 2" and then he starts playing the battle theme of *4* I went "Wow, Edgar making those DEEP CUTS knowing the original localization version." ...That, and I immediately started humming said actual song right after the opening riff.
I saw this movie four times in theatres. Imagine my shock when I heard this failed in the box office. It's probably one of my top five fave movies. The cinema wins video is basically me "literally every frame is a win" dingdingdingdingding
"The Legend of Zelda is always a win!" You got my like right then and there. Seriously though this movie is awesome, it really deserved to do better at the box office.
Another win is I think the ninja dancing game symbolizes how good their relationship is throughout the movie, at first their in sync and both perfectly working together and then after Scott meets Ramona he's still playing the game with Knives but he's just not in sync with her anymore, he's not actually trying, then at the end when he finally admits he was wrong to both of them and owns up to his mistakes and clears up the misconception Knives had their both in sync again.
I found another great win while rewatching this movie! The jacket Knives is wearing when she says hi to Scott in front of Ramona before the battle of the bands is the same jacket she was looking at during the second date at Goodwill! That's some great continuity!
I would love to see a Wins video for The Incredible Hulk. Since Thor Ragnarok will be out soon, why not cover the in canon, seemingly forgotton origin of the Green Goliath?
Something I've come to realize is many people didn't actually see The Incredible Hulk. They saw Hulk and they assumed they saw The Incredible Hulk. So they talk about The Incredible Hulk like it's bad, but then when questioned their memories start to fall apart. This has happened 5-6 times with me. So people actually don't recall that The Incredible Hulk happened. There's not any Cinemasins, Nostalgia Critic, How it Should Have Ended, or Honest Trailers version either. So it's something that's just not been covered by the major UA-camrs.
The Incredible Hulk made me believe they might be able to pull of a Hulk movie and at the time i thought no one else could play banner, but them Mark replaces him and now everytime I watch Incredible Hulk I think it wouldve been better with Mark in it.
With Dunkirk out, I was hoping you would do an EGA for either The Dark Knight Rises or Interstellar. Both great films by Nolan but get a lot of unnecessary hate. Christopher Nolan and Edgar Wright are among some the best filmmakers of the last 20 years.
chiffmonkey Maybe not as much now (people are starting to come around on it), but when it came out it was blasted by critics. It's got a 71% on RT, and many UA-camrs ripped it apart as well.
I quote this movie basically everyday. This is like an actually perfect movie and I love it so much. Bryan Lee O’Malley is my favourite author ever and this movie is so perfect for the books and I love it so much
another number joke i think gets missed too often is that the second evil ex's fight scene includes firstly fighting his stunt DOUBLES, and the fact that it's essentially a TWO STAGE fight, with the ex fighting and styling after his own stunt doubles.

I feel so bad for poor Knives... and Ellen Wong totally nailed it as her!
I cant believe he didn't acknowledged that #2 had his "doubles" fighting for him
Fun Fact: The 4th Evil Ex Roxy Richter is played by Mae Whitman who played Katara in Avatar The Last Airbender. :)
She also played an ex girlfriend to Michael Cera's character in Arrested Development :D
AVATAR RULES!
FullmetalNinja25 and also played the voice of the Lisa (from the comic) in the Scott pilgrim short for adult swim
FullmetalNinja25 nope wrong mar wihtman is her name
FullmetalNinja25 nope wrong mar wihtman is her name
DUDE I JUST SAW SCOTT PILGRIM TAKES OFF!!! ITS SO GOOOD YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DO IT
You should pass some of your positivity to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise! I really love the amount of positivity you spread, watching your videos really brightens my day. I don't even know a lot of the movies I watch you cover, I just love your enthusiasm in everything you do. Keep making great quality content, and congratulations on the baby!
i side with this person i love all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and yet they seem to get alot of hate
Agreed, they were a huge part of my childhood!
Watch the "Accidentally Genius" video of the first Pirates movie. Some of the best 40 minutes of cinematography celebration on youtube
I only accept Pirates Of The Caribbean reviews from Michael Bolton.
The passion you have on this movie is infectious. Makes me want to watch it over again, then re-read the graphic novels.
I have a theory that in the Scott pilgrim universe, Fighting is an average thing. These kinds of fights are normal and expected in everyday activites. Think about how chill Walice is for every fight scene
Can we just consider Edgar Wright films as their own genre?
Yep
Holy shit, he actually did it! Ho boy, I can't wait to watch thi--
'Part 1'
Ooooooohhhhhh CinemaWins, you do us so dirty and we love it.
"Bread makes you fat."
"BReAd MaKeS YoU FaT?!?"
Yes my favorite witty dailogues
i don’t remember writing this comment lmfao
Never noticed the numbers symbolism of each evil ex. Great job pointing that out!
When Scott went "I learned the baseline from Final Fantasy 2" and then he starts playing the battle theme of *4* I went "Wow, Edgar making those DEEP CUTS knowing the original localization version."
...That, and I immediately started humming said actual song right after the opening riff.
This movie is an underrated classic
I saw this movie four times in theatres. Imagine my shock when I heard this failed in the box office. It's probably one of my top five fave movies. The cinema wins video is basically me "literally every frame is a win" dingdingdingdingding
9:46 So sad! Lmao.. "This guy's good."
Movie is so awesome it cant be win'd in one video or youtube severs would implode.
sewer* but yeah, totally agree.
servers* but yeah, totally agree
Well seeing as everyone who sees this movie nearly shits themselves out of over exposure to awesomeness, sewers is appropriate
I think that might have been the joke...
Agree about everything!! Seriously one of the best movies ever made!!!
seqouiaflame trainspotting2 the situation change maybe.people need.to k per about the code of the situation to make us a world.
Another win: There were 7 duplicates in the fighting scene with the 2nd evil ex.
"I think, is Anna Kendrick always a win?"
OF COURSE SHE IS
Not only is this underrated. But it doesn't need an everything great about as its brilliant anyway. But thanks for a video I guarantee to watch!
Gabriel Brown please ahe re build me.a happy world.Stacey pilgrim seems.to launch the world who is really like yeah.
"The Legend of Zelda is always a win!"
You got my like right then and there. Seriously though this movie is awesome, it really deserved to do better at the box office.
I've been thinking about watching this for ages, but now I really want to go out of my way to find and view it.
Watch it now!!!!!
I watched it as soon as I found out Edgar Wright wrote and directed it.
Can't wait for you to do Baby Driver.
Quay Songz he has listened it is up
Another win is I think the ninja dancing game symbolizes how good their relationship is throughout the movie, at first their in sync and both perfectly working together and then after Scott meets Ramona he's still playing the game with Knives but he's just not in sync with her anymore, he's not actually trying, then at the end when he finally admits he was wrong to both of them and owns up to his mistakes and clears up the misconception Knives had their both in sync again.
5:17 another win, Scott’s shirt with empty quotation marks, rehashing the fact that he’s speechless when he first sees her
Another win: Lucas fights using his "Doubles"
9:39 The fights were choreographed by Brad Allan, who was on Jackie Chan’s stunt team. He’s also done the fights on movies like Kingsman.
2:46 maybe supercalifragilisticexpialidocious?
Everything great about The Room
Everything. Hey Mark.
Pablo Podhorzer i did not hit her
I did naaaat
Agnessa92 you just a chiken chiiiiip chip chip chip chiiiip
Oh hai mark
I found another great win while rewatching this movie! The jacket Knives is wearing when she says hi to Scott in front of Ramona before the battle of the bands is the same jacket she was looking at during the second date at Goodwill! That's some great continuity!
I would love to see a Wins video for The Incredible Hulk. Since Thor Ragnarok will be out soon, why not cover the in canon, seemingly forgotton origin of the Green Goliath?
Mr. HoneyComb Excellent idea! Although then it would also be a good idea to do the first two Thor movies
Soon? It's 3 months away? At least 12 weeks and 12 potential CinemaWins videos away.
Totally agree with u man
Something I've come to realize is many people didn't actually see The Incredible Hulk.
This is literally my favorite movie
Kieran Culkin is THE BEST PART, of this movie
I just love his character. Its so full of personality
With Dunkirk out, I was hoping you would do an EGA for either The Dark Knight Rises or Interstellar. Both great films by Nolan but get a lot of unnecessary hate. Christopher Nolan and Edgar Wright are among some the best filmmakers of the last 20 years.
Wes Anderson and Damien Chazelle should be there too.
i strongly disagree about both those films being great
The thing is he can't do an EGA About Interstellar because he'd literally have to just upload the entire movie and he'd get copyrighted. :(
Interstellar gets hate? I don't get it.
chiffmonkey Maybe not as much now (people are starting to come around on it), but when it came out it was blasted by critics. It's got a 71% on RT, and many UA-camrs ripped it apart as well.
I quote this movie basically everyday. This is like an actually perfect movie and I love it so much. Bryan Lee O’Malley is my favourite author ever and this movie is so perfect for the books and I love it so much
“…pretty close to the Legend of Zelda secret theme,” it IS the secret theme. it plays when you finish a puzzle in ALTTP
after 2 years and 20 rewatches, I can conclude this is the best movie ever made
12:17 completely late for the party, but Lucas fights with stunt “Doubles”
another number joke i think gets missed too often is that the second evil ex's fight scene includes firstly fighting his stunt DOUBLES, and the fact that it's essentially a TWO STAGE fight, with the ex fighting and styling after his own stunt doubles.
This movie is an instant on my top 10 list movie from the first half alone. This movie is so amazing and I could tell it was an Edgar wright movie from the first few scenes. So good. Damn.
