- Another cheapish car and we went back to BCA for this former Cat N. BCA said that there was bad paint on the rear quarter and both bumpers, but is there?

Got to be project Elle Paul…😁…looks a decent buy and worth £2,250-£2,495 all day long. I reckon rear ended at some stage due to the lounge bumper on it…just me guessing..

To spruce up Ernie, I would replace the side mirror wing covers for a matching colour and place a knock off fiat badge in the centre of each hub cap. That will give it a massive face lift.

I almost always do. I think it finishes the car off like blacked up tyres. For the sake of £13.

I guessed £1500 & you'd easy get £2500 for it by the time you'd done all your little extras. Bit of Bluetooth, usb charging, lights etc lift it up a level 👍
I would call the car Project Enfield, as not only did you pick it up from BCA Enfield, but the start of the reg is an Enfield postcode.
Nice - Chromed rear bumper isnt standard on a Pop so has been replaced.....theres a bit of a ding on offside front wheel arch and maybe a bit of peel on B pillar on passengers door??? :-( easy win anyway that one Paul as long as nothing too major with lumpy engine!
Looks pretty good and hopefully one of your easier turnovers, a great runaround for less than some people's car insurance bills, don't get me started on the price hike lol, well done on the bargain 😃

Thanks for the videos!. Could you consider doing a video on the keyfob receiver location? My keyfob now only works if I'm next to the car windows. Its a 500 Abarth. Its not the keyfob batteries. Im thinking the antenna got damaged. Cheers!
I had that recently but it was the key,. The locksmith tested the key and it wasn't transmitting a signal most of the time. New key and it worked fine.
Can anyone recommend a good mechanic or garage in the Midlands for a dualogic gearbox issue? Our one has developed a leak but gears still all engage no engine management light. Local garage say they want £500 just to drop the transmission to see where it’s leaking from. Car is 2012 so not sure this economically viable. Have checked the FiatForum. No joy. 😢
Nice easy project hopefully Paul! Do a lot of people use their mot garage for servicing? I tend to go to different places for both, last service I had was at my local tyre place, the mot gets done at the dealership I got the car from now 😂 I’d be your worst nightmare but luckily I get the book stamped 😂
Some do, some don't. Some tell me they only keep paper records.

I think the damage was on the rear as it's got the chrome on the bumper and I'm sure you said the chrome bumper trims were a Lounge only thing

Not sure if you have noticed but the clutch fluid above the dipstick looks low.
Yes, I did notice that. I'll top it up, but I think I'm going to have to change the master cylinder
@@Love500 I would check the clutch pipe coupling as it may be leaking, seeing as low fluid level 👍
For reference, BCA don't mind if you're late.
I was 10 minutes late once before and they never batted an eyelid.
