I have 2 500's and an abarth, i have watched and followed your channal for a while and taken alot of info from your videos to fix and mod my cars.
I have a sport that i have modified. So i have lots of parts from the sport you can have.
About those seat backs, have actually carpeted the rear of my old rear seats with the sort of carpet you get to cover speaker boxes. Spray adhesive and can tuck it in. Looks factory and no more scrapes/rust.
That might be an option actually. Will look much nicer even if they were perfect.

i think youll be lucky to pull that out without a dozer, think that part is made of high strength steel.
I’ve seen other people do it like that. Only time will tell.

Brave man Paul, we had one with a bent chassis leg. It took forever to heat and bend ......I used some hard wood cut down to the internal profile.we only just ligned it up...a lot of work.Good luck.

the rust is of dogs been wet and shaking it off in back. parcel shelf gets taking out mine in loft.

I need 2off for my daughters car and can't find any anywhere and really don't want to have to buy 2off new complete lights. Very annoying. Thank you in advance, Andy

Bloody scaffolding came down the week before. Typical.
Paul, please dont attach to the side of your house. The strength of a wall is compressive strength ie top to bottom/vertical. They do not have great lateral strength. And your house certainly hasnt had 69 horses pulling at the side of it.
Ps looked up the price on the sold prices section of Copart. No surprises. Simply stated “ABSOLUTE BARGAIN!” in GBP. 😅

Leg dosnt look too bad but you will get a better idea once the fronts off. If its under £900 plus fees then it looks a bargain, good there is no airbag damage .
Absolute barrrrrrrrgain. I don’t think it’s too bad. I reckon some heat, a scaffold pole and a hammer and some patience and it’ll work.
@@Love500 My thoughts too just dont attach the porta power pulling ram to the house wall .It will pull itself out and the bricks with it. Sink a section of rsj in your garage floor then its a winner .
Showing as Cat N on Autotrader although as you said should definitely have been Cat S. You'll be wasting your time trying to straighten that chassis leg, even with a jig you won't reinstate the crumple zone properly. If there is a factory join it should be replaced and welded there to do a proper job of it. Looks like they used it to carry wet rubbish or dogs kept peeing in the back going by state of that seat back. Good luck with it 👍
I’ve seen others do it perfectly well the same as I intend to, so we’ll see. Fingers crossed it’s not as bad as it looks.

Next Sundays video I do it on the Colour Therapy. It's exactly the same except you have to disconnect the engine ECU as its bolted to the battery tray. When I do it on this one, I'll specifically film it.

I think I would get the leg done by a professional. Car does have quite a lot wrong when you start to look at it. Would probably do with a timing belt as well .not your best purchase. 👍👍
I actually forgot to look at the cambelt which of course will be done if it hasn't already. I've had worse.
