No, they actually go down and, with a lot more sales! The closer it gets to Christmas the more you’ll save on decorations and cards, more than over half off in price! And, after Christmas you’ll be able to save more! The only way things are marked up high around Christmas time is when, a store is going out of business and, they mark things up and, then, they have like a big going out of business sale, they especially do this during the last few weeks. You think your getting a big huge savings when, your only buying these items for normal price, they will charge you twice the price if they are closing out at Christmas time!
Gracie Lou is wonderful. She knows she is loved. If we could all taste what you cook, we would all be saying, "Please, can I have some more?" Just like she does.
Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday! 21 years ago, the day before Thanksgiving, I completed 4 rounds of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation for breast cancer. I was spared by his grace, and I'm thankful for every day.
I like to enjoy each season & holiday while we are experiencing it! It is also a tradition in my family to keep the Christmas decorations up until the feast of the three kings (Jan 6th) so I have plenty of time to enjoy them
My mom passed away 20 years ago this Thanksgiving. She was a wonderful loving mom, and loved to cook, decorate and host many holiday get togethers. Although Thanksgiving was a very difficult one for the first few years after she passed, I try to make it as special as possible now. I am also a fall decorator and love to keep my décor up from September through November 30. My mom always kept our Christmas decorations up till my birthday on January 25, so I do the same ! I keep my Christmas decorations up all December and January and then decorate a little for Valentine’s Day. Its Become a tradition and it brings me comfort that I’m just like my mom.❤
I used to be Christmas decor after Thanksgiving, but I have small children who are obsessed with Christmas so we have decorated early this year and I’m loving my nights by my lit Christmas tree!
I’m team “slow down” enjoy each holiday as they are special and unique. The next holiday will get here in its own time. Every moment is special. You don’t want to rush and miss what’s important.
I'm team both lol. I used to never decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving but during covid I put my Christmas stuff up early as a morale boost. It was fun to enjoy it a little longer. So now I leave the fall stuff on the dining table, but decorate outside and put up our smaller Christmas trees. We still do our big real tree after Thanksgiving though.
Slow it down, we need to all be Thankful for what we have no matter how much or how little. I feel most people forget what Christmas is all about, the true meaning of Christmas, it’s not about the Christmas tree, decorations & presents. It’s about HIS presence! ✝️
I'm team Thanksgiving. 🍁🍂🦃 I'm making Thanksgiving dinner with my daughter in law. Glad to see you added bacon to the already delicious looking chowder.😋
sOh my word Mandy and Family.... It's time to slow the 24/hour down! We need to be back in our roots and enjoy one holiday at a time. I'm a proud 50 year old... Doing CNA work. Our job LOVES EACH OF YOU!
@@loislemkay5328 That is SO COOL! I'd love to live in the UK someday, and while I love Canada too, Michigan's wicked winters are enough. Can't imagine the snow u guys gets & below zero Temps! What, doesn't Santa actually live in Canada?!! 🤭
Life passes us by so quickly without allowing retailers rushing us along ahead of schedule. I try to live each moment until it is completed and then move onto the next moment. This way we get to enjoy and cherish each holiday for all that it is. Thks for a great video ❤
I'm with you Mandy. Fall is my favorite time of year and while I absolutely LOVE Christmas, I like to enjoy each holiday without meshing it with another holiday. I am OK with craft stores putting out Christmas items early because those of us who craft need supplies early enough to make our creations in time for Christmas. But for goodness sakes, some stores have Christmas décor etc. out on Halloween.
Slow it down - my Mom’s birthday was 11/25 and her favorite favorite holiday was Thanksgiving- this is my 4th without her and I’ll be honest - it will never be the same without her - but thankful I will spent eternity with her 🧡
I have to sweetly laugh at Gracie Lou and her love of cheese. Our dog, Bella, knows the sound of the drawer we keep our cheese is and comes running. She would never be satisfied with the one piece of cheese you give Gracie🤣 Gracie is so gracious
I’m Team “Everyday is a Good Day”. I try to not get caught up in specific days/holidays. Too many times I’ve been sick on a specific day and if I look forward to, and set expectations, I’d be disappointed. So I learned long ago to: go with the flow, decorate however I want, whenever I want, and to eat good food and spend time with friends and family whenever I can 💜
When chopping onions "the old fashioned way", put a wet paper towel next to your cutting board and you won't cry. I was skeptical, but it works. When I open the fridge my cat knows it's either cheese or milk! She knows what the milk carton looks like, and knows the sound of the cheese wrapper opening.
I still have my fall decor up! We are also hosting Thanksgiving so I definitely want a fall vibe. I was taking a walk this morning and saw many people had their Christmas lights up but I’m still holding on to my pumpkins a little longer! I saw two houses had pumpkins too and thought to myself-yes we stand together! 🍁🍂😄
I'm team wait til Thanksgiving is over. When I was a kid we always put the tree up the Saturday after. I still carry that tradition now that I have my own family. Fall is my favorite season and Christmas is my favorite holiday! 😊
For the first time ever, I have already taken down fall and decorated for Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday next to Thanksgiving so I like to enjoy it a little longer. It's my happy place. I am twice widowed and It's my first Christmas alone this year because my son is grown now and moved away but I am thankful all year long :)
Team slow it down let’s have Thanksgiving and enjoy it and be thankful for family and friends and for everything God gave us and I’m thankful for finding your channel a couple of years ago and add them not missing episode. I absolutely love it.
Team-slow it down. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it was my Dad's favorite holiday, and he, of course, is within my heart every day, but Thanksgiving gives me wonderful memories of him and my mom.
I am team Thanksgiving, with family and friends .Then Christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus and remembering the reason for the season, which we seem to forget. Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!,❤❤ My
Why do we need to pick between the two holidays? My Thanksgiving has a Christmas tree set up! I absolutely love Thanksgiving! It's my favorite holiday. As a Christian I love Christmas and could and DO celebrate it all year!
We’ve had a tradition in my family ever since I was a little girl Christmas does not go up until the Friday after Thanksgiving. Friday night after Thanksgiving we all get together and decorate for Christmas and share appetizers and sparkling cider.
Must have Thanksgiving as a full on holiday season and then start to decorate for Christmas! They are completely different holidays but equally important in my mind!
I do decorate for Christmas in early November these days. Our daughter now hosts the thanksgiving dinner at her house so I get to enjoy my Christmas decorations for a little longer. I used to wait until after thanksgiving when I hosted the get together.
Slow Down! I do put up my Christmas tree on the weekend following Thanksgiving. I don't go all out decorating, just set up and light the tree and then I decorate slowly. Two weeks before Christmas I'll fully decorate the tree and then I work from there. I often try recipes you share. Thank you for taking the time to video!
Thanksgiving first!!! My favorite!!! It’s all about family and being thankful….Christmas is my 2nd favorite… too chaotic….too commercialized….. but having Grands I try to make it special. But thanksgiving is more relaxed and is the best!!!! Christmas decor does not go up until Saturday after Thanksgiving!!! Love your channel!!!
We are team Thanksgiving through the end of November. We celebrate the season of Advent for the four weeks before Christmas. During this time we celebrate the anticipation of the birth of our Lord. Each day we read a Chapter of the gospel of Luke in the Bible.
Definitely team Thanksgiving here in MS! Christmas decor goes up afterwards and stays until right after the New Year.
No, they actually go down and, with a lot more sales! The closer it gets to Christmas the more you’ll save on decorations and cards, more than over half off in price! I do the same thing. My Christmas decor gets put up the weekend after Thanksgiving and taken down the weekend after New Year's. 😊
My grandma always said can't be merry until we praise being blessed! So we're slow down its turkey time!
I'm with you, Mandy! I wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas.🙂
Thanksgiving for sure. So thankful for the Lord and all His blessings.
Gracie Lou is wonderful. She knows she is loved. If we could all taste what you cook, we would all be saying, "Please, can I have some more?" Just like she does.
Gimme some bacon mama!
Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday! 21 years ago, the day before Thanksgiving, I completed 4 rounds of chemo and 6 weeks of radiation for breast cancer. I was spared by his grace, and I'm thankful for every day.
Yes! Praise God!! :)
Great recipes! And Gracie…Gracie is like, “yes! More noms please!” 😻
Satisfaction, wow the recipes look amazing!!!😁❤
Oh I’m a big fall girl, let’s enjoy Thanksgiving and slow down🍁🍂🥰
Slo it down, let's have Thanksgiving first! It's a great low-stress holiday and I love Thanksgiving best.
Team: let’s have Thanksgiving first 🦃🦃🦃

Let's have Thanksgiving first!
My favorite holiday is also Thanksgiving. Family, good food….and a lot less stress!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Christmas will be there after Thanksgiving is over.

Yea! I’m with you! LOVE fall and Thanksgiving. Let’s take one holiday at a time!!!
I am firmly team Thanksgiving first. NO Christmas decorations until Thanksgiving dinner is over.
I'm a slow down and let's enjoy Thanksgiving gal! Always love the videos Mandy!
My hiking buddy will help me these while I’m recovering my surgery ❤
I'm team Thanksgiving. 🍁🍂🦃 I'm making Thanksgiving dinner with my daughter in law. Glad to see you added bacon to the already delicious looking chowder.😋

As Canadian, we have already had Thanksgiving. However to me I start decorating and thinking about Christmas December 1st. Yes I love Christmas. 🎄
Do u have "Boxing Day" like the Brits? What day do u celebrate Christmas? Europe has diff days than the US.
@@sandybowman7140 Yes we have Boxing Day in Canada too.

Team slow it down! I LOVE Christmas, but Thanksgiving needs it's time too! We don't decorate for Christmas until December.
I love the fall season & also keep my decor up until the end of November. But I turn on the Christmas music early November. I love your videos💕

We’re team let’s get through Thanksgiving first!!
Team Thanksgiving here. Christmas comes after Thanksgiving weekend. That shepherds pie looks so good. Thanks for sharing. 🥰

Slow it down and let's just be thankful for all of our blessings. I live Thanksgiving too.

My husband would LOVE the Southwest Shepherds Pie, so I will print that off and surprise him one night!😉

You should give Gracie all the treats and lots of them. You won't regret spoiling her. From someone missing their sweet boy.
Thanksgiving is important to me. Must have that meal and after that Christmas.

Thanksgiving is my family’s favorite holiday. Helps to slow down the approach to Xmas.
