I do know what you are going thru. In 1999 my wife had breast cancer and to help her recover we got 2 kittens that where sisters and looked just like Gracie, except much larger, named Jasmine and Daisy. The papers that came with them showed their birth date was March 11, which is my wife's birth date. My wife passed in 2012 and shortly afterwards Jasmine passed then 2 months later Daisy passed. I lost all 3 girls within a few months. Yes it takes awhile to get over the loses, as if we ever do. Pets are family. To this day I still find hidden treasures from those two girls. How they got those toys in some of those places will remain a mystery to me. With love from our house to yours. Tink!

As a fur parent, my heart breaks for y'all on the loss of sweet Gracie. She'll always hold a special spot in our hearts. I still grieve the loss of our sweet Robbie and Gator. I know them and Gracie are chasing each other and sitting at the feet of my late grandmother and mother-in-law waiting for cheese, shredded chicken, and if they're lucky cornbread. Lol. I'll miss seeing Ms. Gracie on your videos. I cried when I found out. Pets only are here on earth for such a short time, but leave forever pawprints on our hearts. When I lost my silky Terrier Henry in 2013, I waited a couple months and then headed to the shelter to rescue a broken hearted lab/shep mix. Henry would have wanted me to give him shelter, love and the best food. It helped me get through the rough months ahead and our rescue is now almost 12 years. Leave your heart open. You know you can never replace her, but you can help another kitty feel all the love you have to give. Huge Hugs for your family during such a difficult time.

I , too, started sobbing…again. I lost my loving boy, Skye on Friday morning, September 20th. He was my ride or die Russian Blue who I had adopted after his human mother passed away when he was 5 years old. My boy had just turned 12 yo in August. I feel the heartbreak and the love. Yesterday I had watched Jessica Donohue and at the end she made a comment that made me think Gracie had passed. Later that night I had a dream that our Maltese, Samson, had met Gracie in heaven and told her "C'mon let me show you around, and take you to God's throne, all the cats including the big ones have a special praise that they do for Him, then I can show you to the meadow where all the cats play together and your new house!" I woke up bawling! This is the 3rd time I've seen my dog in heaven and he told me everyone I knew that was there! I miss him so much so my heart is breaking for you as well. However, knowing our pets are there too, makes it more comforting, and less painful. Love you all. 😺
In one of my dreams that my dog Samson came to me, and told me all about his house and that Jesus sometimes comes out to play with the children and the animals, sometimes He likes to play pranks in the animals and hide their toys on them. Or sometimes He lays on their beds with them. Samson told me that Jesus has all the big cats especially the lions and let the children ride on the lions backs and they can all play together in the meadow. It's such a special moment that I believe the Lord gives me with my fur baby, he was a very sociable dog, evidentally he still is! ❤
Mandy and Steven...losing a pet is NEVER fun. But your Gracie Lou has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and in a better place,... free of pain an suffering. More importantly is the legend she leaves all of us. And unless you've owned a critter, you have NO idea, Our Bailey was 13 when she crossed that bridge 2 years ago and sometimes, it's tough !! I just can’t believe how this tore me up! Gracie was a beauty, but more than that….. was how the love that you felt for her shined through every time she was on a video. Her little meow was adorable. One of the hardest things about being a pet parent is having to escort our babies to the Rainbow Bridge. I've been to the foot of that bridge too many times to count, and my heart crumbles every time. There are a few times a furrykid headed off to that bridge without me. None of the "saying goodbye" process is easy. It's also incredibly unfair that our furrykids aren't here for our whole lives. (That's on my list of things to ask God about when I get to Heaven.) Honor and embrace the grieving process. It's not easy, it's not fun, but it's very necessary. Grieving is a healthy response to loss - and our whole body needs to move through that process. I loved watching Gracie Lou demand and collect the cheese tax. I'll miss her, too. Thank you for sharing her with us, and for allowing us to join you in saying goodbye to her. ❤

The hardest part of losing a much-loved pet is the "new normal" that has to begin. Those thoughts of her in the kitchen begging for cheese, or looking out the window, etc., will bring tears at first, but will bring comfort in the future. We have had 3 of our babies pass in the last 3 years. They were around 15 years. Still hurting years later. We had a chicken pass in April. Even my hubby was devastated over these passings. He is a real tough guy (was in the marines) but he loves his pets. We adopted a papillon from my oldest daughter a month ago. And a chicken and a cat! Last year on 18 May I fell down stairs at work and broke my leg. On 23 May I came home from hospital and my sweet little duchess a mini daschund wasnt doing to great she was laying down most of the time. But that morning she managed to get up and came to greet her mommy. She was so happy to see me. Little did I know that she waited to see me just to say her final gjoodbyes. Later that afternoon she would peacefully pass in her sleep right next to my mom in law on the couch. Exactly 10 days before her 10th birthday. I miss my queenie to this day. I pray that God will strengthen you as you celebrate her life with fond memories. A Special ornament on your Christmas tree at Christmas in her honor will make it feel that she is there with you. Wishing you all the best on your road to heal. Our God is awesome and He walks with you through this storm.

I have a Gracie as well. I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s like losing a family member. Heal at your own pace. I lost my Carmen after 19 wonderful years. She traveled with me all over the country in my 5th wheel. I am a catastrophe insurance adjuster, so I’d go all over the country working storms. She was Carmen for short, but her whole name was Carmen San Diego (where in the world….). Her photos pop up regularly on my FB feed, and my heart melts every time I see one. Her ashes sit on my dresser along with her photo. You have so many videos of your Gracie Lou, and she will never be forgotten by you, and she will forever be in our hearts. She was such a sweet little girl, and I loved her meow. She lived a long happy life with so much love from you. Many prayer for you. My heart just breaks for you. 💔💔💔

As a fur parent, my heart breaks for y'all on the loss of sweet Gracie. She'll always hold a special spot in our hearts. I still grieve the loss of our sweet Robbie and Gator. I know them and Gracie are chasing each other and sitting at the feet of my late grandmother and mother-in-law waiting for cheese, shredded chicken, and if they're lucky cornbread. Lol. We'll continue to pray for y'all.
I'll miss seeing Ms. Gracie on your videos. I cried when I found out. Pets only are here on earth for such a short time, but leave forever pawprints on our hearts. When I lost my silky Terrier Henry in 2013, I waited a couple months and then headed to the shelter to rescue a broken hearted lab/shep mix. Henry would have wanted me to give him shelter, love and the best food. It helped me get through the rough months ahead and our rescue is now almost 12 years. Leave your heart open. You know you can never replace her, but you can help another kitty feel all the love you have to give. Huge Hugs for your family during such a difficult time.

I , too, started sobbing…again. I lost my loving boy, Skye on Friday morning, September 20th. He was my ride or die Russian Blue who I had adopted after his human mother passed away when he was 5 years old. My boy had just turned 12 yo in August. I feel the heartbreak and the love. Yesterday I had watched Jessica Donohue and at the end she made a comment that made me think Gracie had passed. Later that night I had a dream that our Maltese, Samson, had met Gracie in heaven and told her "C'mon let me show you around, and take you to God's throne, all the cats including the big ones have a special praise that they do for Him, then I can show you to the meadow where all the cats play together and your new house!" I woke up bawling! This is the 3rd time I've seen my dog in heaven and he told me everyone I knew that was there! I miss him so much so my heart is breaking for you as well. However, knowing our pets are there too, makes it more comforting, and less painful. Love you all. 😺
In one of my dreams that my dog Samson came to me, and told me all about his house and that Jesus sometimes comes out to play with the children and the animals, sometimes He likes to play pranks in the animals and hide their toys on them. Or sometimes He lays on their beds with them. Samson told me that Jesus has all the big cats especially the lions and let the children ride on the lions backs and they can all play together in the meadow. It's such a special moment that I believe the Lord gives me with my fur baby, he was a very sociable dog, evidentally he still is! ❤

Mandy and Steven...losing a pet is NEVER fun. But your Gracie Lou has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and in a better place,... free of pain an suffering. More importantly is the legend she leaves all of us. And unless you've owned a critter, you have NO idea, Our Bailey was 13 when she crossed that bridge 2 years ago and sometimes, it's tough !! Know that we all are thinking of you both and are here to support you both !! I just can’t believe how this tore me up! Gracie was a beauty, but more than that….. was how the love that you felt for her shined through every time she was on a video. Her little meow was adorable. One of the hardest things about being a pet parent is having to escort our babies to the Rainbow Bridge. I've been to the foot of that bridge too many times to count, and my heart crumbles every time. There are a few times a furrykid headed off to that bridge without me.
None of the "saying goodbye" process is easy. It's also incredibly unfair that our furrykids aren't here for our whole lives. (That's on my list of things to ask God about when I get to Heaven.)
Honor and embrace the grieving process. It's not easy, it's not fun, but it's very necessary. Grieving is a healthy response to loss - and our whole body needs to move through that process.
I loved watching Gracie Lou demand and collect the cheese tax. I'll miss her, too. Thank you for sharing her with us, and for allowing us to join you in saying goodbye to her. ❤

My dog Nira dies not like cats, but when Gracie was on, she just watched, never barked or anything. She was such a sweet baby, and she was just as blessed as you! The hardest part of losing a much-loved pet is the "new normal" that has to begin. Those thoughts of her in the kitchen begging for cheese, or looking out the window, etc., will bring tears at first, but will bring comfort in the future. We have had 3 of our babies pass in the last 3 years. They were around 15 years. Still hurting years later. We had a chicken pass in April. Even my hubby was devastated over these passings. He is a real tough guy (was in the marines) but he loves his pets. We adopted a papillon from my oldest daughter a month ago. And a chicken and a cat! Last year on 18 May I fell down stairs at work and broke my leg. On 23 May I came home from hospital and my sweet little duchess a mini daschund wasnt doing to great she was laying down most of the time. But that morning she managed to get up and came to greet her mommy. She was so happy to see me. Little did I know that she waited to see me just to say her final gjoodbyes. Later that afternoon she would peacefully pass in her sleep right next to my mom in law on the couch. Exactly 10 days before her 10th birthday. I miss my queenie to this day. I pray that God will strengthen you as you celebrate her life with fond memories. A Special ornament on your Christmas tree at Christmas in her honor will make it feel that she is there with you. Wishing you all the best on your road to heal. Our God is awesome and He walks with you through this storm.

I have a Gracie as well. I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s like losing a family member. Heal at your own pace. I lost my Carmen after 19 wonderful years. She traveled with me all over the country in my 5th wheel. I am a catastrophe insurance adjuster, so I’d go all over the country working storms. She was Carmen for short, but her whole name was Carmen San Diego (where in the world….). Her photos pop up regularly on my FB feed, and my heart melts every time I see one. Her ashes sit on my dresser along with her photo. You have so many videos of your Gracie Lou, and she will never be forgotten by you, and she will forever be in our hearts. She was such a sweet little girl, and I loved her meow. She lived a long happy life with so much love from you. Many prayer for you. My heart just breaks for you. 💔💔💔
