Great vid! I ride stand up skis and my latest hack? How to get my drone, controller and batteries out on the water and film without getting my gear wet. It was as simple as buying a waterproof backpack and wearing it over my life jacket. I can then set up on a clear sandbar, island or shore. I've done it twice and it works great! And I have the video to prove it!
From memory I purchased it at anaconda but I suspect most stores that sell kayaks will have something similar. Just make sure it’s correctly rated for jet ski.
Those seadoo's you showed that sank due to missing drain plugs did not sink due to missing plugs. Modern Seadoos (including those shown) have a check valve that only allows water to exit. I rode 3 hours last week with both plugs out and had no problem.
G’Day Jorge. Hope you’re enjoying your jet ski and thanks for your msg! All going well but just been too busy to make the videos sorry. Ironically I’ve actually been camping, hiking and jet skiing more than ever. I do miss making regular video’s but the editing takes hours. Perhaps I need to find a faster workflow or different style to make the task easier. Any suggestions?

@@costasgeorgiou5015 flushing it has nothing to do with the carbon seal. You need to inspect the carbon seal and replace it when it wears down enough. Some mechanic you are. It's called preventative maintenance. Also involves keeping the boot greased to keep pressure against that carbon seal. And as far as your 9 hour claim maybe you just got unlucky or are just stupid. Or maybe it had more than 9 hours. No way to tell it that's true or not but I call bullshit

@@costasgeorgiou5015 you burnt up the carbon seal from running it too long while flushing it on the garden hose as there's no cooling to the carbon seal when the ski is out of the water
Sorry to hear that. Most of us ride sensibly (and draw no attention) but unfortunately there are always going to be some exceptions. Thanks for watching.
You don’t have to finance a jet ski for 15+ years lol. Or You can pick up a used 2 stroke jet ski under 3k. Boats are overrated. Boat literally stands for “Break Out Another Thousand”
Gr8 video. Hydration bladder, can put rum coke in it or would I need flat coke? Cheers
Grabbing my spaghetti container now. Cheers, great stuff.
Hahah loved the pasta container hack, I’ve done that!! 🤙🏻
Great vid!! I use the pasta container for my safety gear too, but I cut up some foam mat to put in the bottom and in the lid as cushioning.
Thanks Anthony! That's a great idea!
Thanks for sharing this big, like 👍
So soap will work as good as salt away when flushing your ski after salt water rides?
Nice vid, I’m keeping the spaghetti in with the flares incase I need to throw them in the air too
Good thinking!
That's hilarious!
You can also glue or silicon a small mirror in the lid of the spaghetti container for a signalling device.
Brillant idea!

Thanks - that’s good design.
Bad info, not having the drain plugs will definitely cause you to sink. Those check valves easily get stuck in the open position
I heard about Dawn dish soap however the degreaser can be bad for any rubber parts it comes in contact with so I heard
Utterly brilliant ... esp the hydration bladder tip
When I visit my mom this weekend I'm "borrowing" her pasta container!
Amazing thank you
Thank you too!
Good video
Great tips
Thanks Rodrigo.
Do tell me how long have you used that hose flush system?
Usually just fresh water - see the other videos on how to correctly flush.
Jet Ski Camping no the hack where you use dishwashing liquid down the hose because you never used that method in any of your other videos
Yeah I mostly just use fresh water. If I've been out for days and concerned with salt build up I might use this trick followed by fresh water.
One closed cooling system.... the only thing you flush is the exhaust. And mine can only flush for 90 to 120 seconds
Hey man!!!
Where are you!? I hope everything is fine with you and your family!!
Missing your videos. I am just a beginner in Jetski.

Personal preference I guess.
