Your whole post is joyous. Yesterday was my husband's 46th birthday he passed away a 11 months ago from covid. I just think it's joyous that you and your husband worship together, so cool it truly brings happiness to my heart. My husband was starting his journey with the Lord before he got sick and he spent a month in a coma so I just I have no doubt whatsoever that The Lord said to my hubby (Jameson), the absolute worst thing any husband could ever hear. I am the Lord. Which means your wife was right. Yep he's never gonna live that one down, and I've never been so happy to be right. I have no doubt he is with the Lord right now, praise Jesus. Try AA. The core of it is that you can only leave alcohol with God's help. Your will power is not enough. Note too That the two doctors who created AA were once alcoholics and as doctors were suspicious that it was really an addictive allergy. Probably Glutens. There is a demon involved here with it. But know that only Jesus can get rid of demons. No one else. You need his help. In AA you will get a sponsor... A friend to help you. It will be someone who has overcome alcohol and is exactly where you are. AA works. Try to watch the vintage movie The Lost Weekend with Ray Milland. God bless.

I just think it's joyous that you and your husband worship together, so cool it truly brings happiness to my heart. My husband was starting his journey with the Lord before he got sick and he spent a month in a coma so I just I have no doubt whatsoever that The Lord said to my hubby (Jameson), the absolute worst thing any husband could ever hear. I just finished reading Revelation and cried so many times. Jesus is overwhelming ✝️🙏❤️ Christ on the white horse made me cry like a baby, the image of Him and His Almighty Power leaves me speechless ✝️✝️✝️

Yes God gives Christian's everlasting Life for believing in Jesus but
Jesus is bringing His reward with Him, everlasting Life was not mentioned in the letters to the 7 churches
Only the Christian's that overcome the Mark of the beast receive that reward

The only saints that take part in the First Resurrection, are the saints that overcame the Mark of the beast

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting Life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Just because the 7 churches did not have a mention of "eternal life" does not mean they do not have it, which is why they are called churches is because they were the people in each region that have been born again and grafted to the church.
Do you also believe that you can receive eternal life, or are you speaking of another reward which are for the saints after the rejection of the mark of the beast?
