Omg,i love the angles u got in here, great job... it really helped me out i was trying to see the transmission solenoids A&B. Trying to see if it was black on top or red on top... and bingo! U got all up in there perfectly, thank u! 😊
There's another solenoid next to the starter (at three right) you forgot to clean, has a mesh built into the gasket, for those still having issues, clean that one also and change the trans filter also
@@Rtario Did my cl type s over the weekend, and took the time to test the solenoids out also with a 12v battery and a multimeter for resistance (5.5 ohm).
I recommend for those still having trouble to change the pressure switches also. It take about 15 minutes and they are located near the front driver side behind wheel
Just did this for my Acura TL 2000 damn the one in the back was no joke took me a while to get it off luckily I found an angle where I can place the extension socket to get it on and off
I did this to my 99 TL. And I also used some Lucas stop slip. That was 3 years ago. I also did the trans fluid change 3X3. I’ve done that only 2 times since then. All in all it’s holding up well. I know I’m on borrowed time but I haven’t put in a new transmission. And at this point I really don’t think I’m going to invest that kind of money. Car has 222 K miles. I bought it with 160. Owned it 5 years now.
Awesome! And yes if only everyone would understand that doing a transmission flush is need it. Even though the dealer says not to do it.. Great job and glad you save yourself good money.
Hi Jayy. It could be lots of things. For example. 1. Low on transmission fluid. I would have that check. 2. Some solenoid do go out. 3. I would do a flush if your car just started to give u problems. That might help it out Not saying it might fix your the problem. Good luck & many 🙏.
Great video! I have a 01 CL, same engine, I believe same transmission. How to tell if this is Shift B or Shift C solenoid? When I make a hard u-turn, and hit the gas, the RPM’s increase but the car doesn’t go. I have to wait until the RPM’s go down to 700 before the car starts moving. I have no code. Thanks!

Why didnt you remove the 3 big top hoses to install the solenoids? Very helpful video btw
Which solenoids are those ?
JUST BECAUSE THINGS LOOK GOOD DOESN'T MEAN THAT THE SOLENOID ITSELF ISN'T STICKING OR BAD ELECTRICALLY
