- You guys asked for it so here it is, I ended up 1v1ing this guy that was talking trash to me in a rumble game where I was trying to record a Borrowed Time video, I ended up killing him a few times with a shotgun melee combo and he messaged me talking trash saying all I do is get shotgun kills and hide behind my shields. So I told him to 1v1 me with a handcannon and he didn't know it was me on the account. I hope you guys enjoy the video and thank you all for the support! If you can get 15 shotgun kills in a rumble in this meta, you’re no slouch.
But shoguns take literally no skill. Anyone can use a shotgun. Sure in this meta it may be hard but if you look at the game over all the years of it being out shotguns have never left meta because it is so easy to use.
@@malice4mercy904 you obviously don’t use shotguns at all. Throw one on for a day and try it. They’re a clean up gun more than anything right now. If it’s not clean up then you have to effectively close gaps to 5-6m all while not dying to smgs. People use shotguns because they enjoy them. They aren’t meta. Smg’s, sidearms, and fusion rifles all dumpster shotguns with a little back pedaling

I’m trash, and your movement is crazy. I was on controller for a long time but just recently went mnk in pvp, and movement is my biggest weakness. I can still 3 tap with a 120, but getting in a panic shotgun battle around corners is hard for me. Easy enough on controller minus the obvious speed limitation, but maybe one day I’ll get there.

To be fair you were being an annoying titan ape that was using shotguns. I can see where he acted like you had no skill. But then again I don’t know why people as good as you don’t just use skillful stuff normally. I personally would be less annoyed dying to you by a hand cannon, than with a shoulder charge and shotgun constantly. That’s just my opinion though love the video keep it up.

1v1's are weird... it points out the flaws of a player especially if you play someone better than you. This oak was pretty good. He used cover well, good shot, and knew exactly how to use his abilities to make panduh work for the kill. What got him tho was his bad positioning. Like he knows how to use cover but then he sticks to that instead of pushing or taking a different angle or gaining control of the map... that my take on it.
It might just be someone who's in the process of getting better. That's how it goes no? You figure out one aspect of it, get better at it, notice how better players counter it and that's how you know what you need to work onto next
