    Imagine if Alex lab put his reactor and gimmicks in this suit, it would be the most complete iron man suit we’ve had so far, I mean that man has made an actual arc reactor that actually powers the suit and all its pneumatic muscles and weaponry, and this man has made the bulletproof and bombproof outer shell that can case the inner skeleton that Alex has already laid out, it would be a mind blowing collab, I wish all these youtubers could actually come together like this, together they can achieve so much, Adam got the strong metalwork, hacksmith got the budget and resources, Alex got the engineering skills to make an actual arc reactor and repulsor, jlaser got the finishing touches and design adjustments

      I see this as a glass half full situation honestly. I don't think most people realize that something this durable is possible or that it can be 3D printed. Look at it this way. The Original Star Trek came out in the 1960s. Flip phones which were inspired by the flip open communicators first appeared in the 90s. Iron Man is now about 13 years old. This 3D printed titanium suit they are showing is basically the equivalent of a mid 80s car phone or suitcase phone. So how much further can they take the suit tech in the next 17 years? I'd say pretty damn far.

      Another point. The armor would still be making contact with your body. It's not a wall held in place by the earth. depending on how the suit is sealed - it probably will kill you due to over pressure. they used specific tank rounds like that during ww2 to kill crews without penetrating the armour. On something like an ironman suit...i donno, i think the suit will survive but you'll be mush

    • @RiceCubeTech
      @RiceCubeTech 3 роки тому +1

      Tungsten is hard but fragile. It shatters easily. You’d need some sort of hybrid alloy. Same with titanium, you need to add something to it to make it more malleable and shock resistant. Hardness only does so much for durability

    If i'm not remembering wrongly, during the actual show, whenever they went to that bomb range and tested something out, they always (or usually, I might've missed some episodes) had JD as the ... 'safety liaison expert' ,or whatever they called him.
    I'm just curious as to the reasons for that.
    Was it something like the Mythbusters calling the police and asking for someone to come supervise , and the police are like 'JD! You're familiar with these nutcases, you deal with them', something like JD having been assigned to them in need, JD just being one of the entire staff, but the one actual gobetween between MB and police, and they just never introduced anyone else to keep it simple or ... just for what reason ?
