Just made these for breakfast and they were absolutely delicious. I’m going to try doubling the recipe and freezing half to make a quick family breakfast. Thank you for the tutorial!
Good Morning 🤠🇺🇸 I made these and they are delicious, but mine barely rose and are very crumbly. I rechecked and did the amounts. I did freeze my butter and grated to make it incorporate into the flour easier. Do you think that’s what did it? Thanks for your help.
HI ! I Made twice this recipe, first time i tried with half recipe and everyone loved it . This time i made full recipe and turned out perfect. I sprinkled seme sea salt after rolling the dough then cut.
Came here from your fruit pizza recipe! Just got done watching your biscuit recipe. Now I’m fixing to watch your sausage gravy recipe lol Your videos and recipes look great! You now have a new sub 🙂
Yum!! These look good! Never made them from scratch before but they don’t look too hard based on your excellent instructions! Now to decide…gravy, apple butter, honey, jam? Too difficult to decide. May have to triple the recipe haha!
I'm definitely going to try this I bought all I bought a package of how the package about a kit with the biscuit cutter the cutters cookie cutters shapes it came in a little box I got it from Amazon to start your own your very first biscuits so I got all that I just haven't done yet so I think I'm going to do this tomorrow I'm excited so I'm going to use your recipe
Hi :) Yes you want 5 tsp. You won't taste it in these biscuits. You need that to help them rise. Most biscuit recipes actually call for about the same quantity of baking powder. Hope that helps :)
You shouldn't have said that there's a lot of calories they're kind of bummed me out if you would have left that part out I would have been like yeah I'm making these tonight but you had to say that
Well... it IS a buttermilk biscuit, lol 😆. Did you expect a "healthy" buttermilk biscuit, lol? If you're worried about calories, then don't make biscuits 😂.
I will definitely be making these. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad this recipe intrigued you! Keep me posted on how it goes!

Isn"t 5tsp baking powder too much ? Won't the biscuits taste/smell of baking powder once they are baked ?
