Just give them reskined ashes of war with the destined death effect and you're done. You know Black flame tornado? Make it red and give it destined death. There you have it, now the twinblade has something going for it. Do it for every other weapon.
It's still shit unless you remove your opponents thumbs. It's way too telegraphed and high commitment to be practically useful, but you can blender squads with it if they try to contest the hyper-armor.
I;m so glad that the second patch dropped i decided to check out twinblade because i always wanted to try them since they always seemed to me a weapon that had alot potential to be pretty good but becase of how poise was they never were really usable but now with the poise changes it has become a staple for some of my builds
Godskin Peeler has a unique running heavy as well. It's a four hit combo and is terrifying if the thing is bleed or cold infused. One of the most terrifying status effect builds in the game is a cold infused godskin peeler and eleonora's poleblade. Peeler can cold proc in one combo on most targets and Poleblade does the same for bleed, the fire damage Poleblade does resets the cold proc. It lets you chain burst things with both procs for thousands of damage. Even damage sponge bosses like Fire Giant melt alarmingly quick. You can do something similar with cold uchi and Rivers (LetMeSoloHer uses that setup I think), but they don't proc status nearly as quick.
Idk about yall but Bloodblade Dance has always been good i remember lading it all the time and deleting people with it back when i used to use the Pole lade a lot.
I used I or a few invasions the first attack would hit pretty consistently but the second input attack most would regain their poise and rollaway but now it just stun locks then so it’s much better
I didn't know the godskin peeler was infusible, I know blackflame tornado is an obtainable ash of war but I always just assumed it was an enchanted weapon like the golden halberd. Good to know
My favorite twinblade is the poleblade. Cause it was the weapon I used in my first playthrough. Was following Yura around and found eleanora. Took me an hour to kill her causenI wasshit at the game. But when I finally bested her I took that weapon and ran with it. I had been using the regular twinblade beforehand.
The strongest aspect of eleonore twinblade AoW is its realy strong to catch people and not necessarly to attack straight with it. I mean the gap close can be realy good to surprise people trying to start an animation from far but i think the main purpose of the weapon is to lure them , you attack you do anything to force them roll and then sue the AoW, the timing + the jump should get people offguard without much effort
I only just recently discovered your channel...and I'm starting to suspect that the gargoyle black blades are a troll from the developers. Like, "let's give these weapons a cool name and make them look really special...but actually make them kinda suck. But let's have one with an actually pretty good AOW to get the player's hopes up."
Yeah I was showing my friend some of my weapons the other night and I pulled out eleanora's poleblade and after a moment I was just like daaaaamn I need to use this weapon more. So good.
It was about 3 days ago I stumbled across her at the church and as soon as I saw her move I was like "I NEED THIS WEAPON!!!" Been having so much fun with it this evening
Ever since I learned about eleonora's poleblade, I had to use it in a build immediately. It's the only weapon I've done any pvp with, and while the second part of the ash used to be unreliable the first part was always really good at poising through shit and chasing people down. It was an A-tier weapon previously, now it might warrant S-tier.
It was actually my first favorite weapon class of the game, actually, my only favorite. It was love at first sight when I got the Twinblades to defeat Margit
With the gargoyle weapons the twinblade doesn't have any destined death stuff because it's dropped by a normal gargoyle. The other one is dropped by a black blade kindred. Dunno if anyone else has mentioned this or if you already knew this but yea
I enjoy twin blades…I was using godskin peeler with blood cragblade (before patch) and the colossal godskin weapon in off hand cuz it gets hyper armour. Then two handed charged heavy on twin blade was catching a lot of folks off guard
I have a build I never used where I have one peeler with bft and another with spinning weapon (the ash of war where the blade is cast in front of you and proceeds to become a horizontal propeller that stays approximately 2 inches from your face), each to recreate one of the apostle's attacks. Keep a seal (preferably Godslayer's or Erdtree) in the other hand, containing all of the apostle's spells. I have one for the fatty and for what I kinda like to call the Godskin Barbarian (uses the Godslayer's Greatsword).
Tbh I've been enjoying a twinblade with a glintblade sorcery build, the great glintblade phalanx into glintstone pebble with the follow-up can normally confirm a extra light against anything that isn't already dead in game, and with less consistency you can get a uncharged heavy. I'll be it I've been testing and the extra reach on the glintstone chris is a bit better but I like the twinblade enough to want to keep it.
The Godskin Peeler is one of my fav weapons in the whole game. I use bleed affinity with Seppuku in PvE. With 130 blood buildup and quick attacks, this thing is just nasty
Btw just for anyone that wants to look badass, you can slap bloodflame on the tan wax gargoyle twinblade and greatsword to make it look like its on fire from the wax. So badasssss
Either heard me out last vid or had this on the menu but i love to see twinblade love. Btw bloody knight twinblade and frosty gargoiles twinblade with raptor chestplate and jump L1 is busted. Even better with twinblade talisman and mohgs talisman
i did a run recently where i was power stancing two twinblades, and buffing the gargoyle's one with bleed, lightning, or black flame. it was verrrrry fun lol
I remember using Elenora’s pole blade before 110 and I was like it’s really cool I like it but it just doesn’t have the damage output I want then 110 comes here and slaps those words right out of my mouth. It’s my favorite weapon in the entire game.
Guys peeler w senpuku on arcane is absolutely busted as fuck. I was running it today and bleeding everyone in one running r2 for like 1.1k dmg each time…..
I get two Eleanor’s pole blade and one godskin peeler with blood black flame blade. I put the peeler in my right hand and one of the eleonaros pole blades in my left. If I ever need to use a blood flame dance, I simply switch to my second eleonora in my right hand inventory. This was before I switched to mogwhyns spear tho
I love twinblades. They mightn’t be the best, but damn are they stylish and satisfying. The knight blade, the one from Altus is probably my favourite visually.
I had a dex arcane build for a while that was Eleanora’s Poleblade and the Godskin Peeler with ice spear for frost build up. The jumping attacks were crazy. It was so gross
I really like the Gargoyle's TB over Eleonora's only because of the latter's stat requirements. If you are going for a bleed build, then sure, Eleonora's is the best, but the AR on the Gargoyle's is top tier if you build it right.
Bloody Gargs Twinblades are my favorite, that thing gets crazy good attack rating if you two hand it at 54str 45 arc, for pure str I'd be conflicted between using Gargs or Twinned Knight because the damage difference is way less and you get better reach with twinned knight's.
I put Sacred Blade on my Twinned Knight Swords so I'd have a weapon I could easily kill skeletons with, but then I ended up liking it so much it just became a secondary weapon lol. It's also very true you can have a ton of ashes for them, once I get another weapon that can deal holy damage that I can use I'll probably just start rotating other ashes of war to use with it
“Entire weapon classes that you never use” As a blood borne player, And thus dex user, For me that’s Great weapons. All of them. Basically never leveled them because I was already invested heavily in dex. But I’ve been doing a new run, And... MAN, Troll Knight’s sword goes HARD.
the Gargoyle's Black Blades and the Quality Twinned Knight Sword have the highest DPS in the entire game for enchanted and unenchanted weapons when two-handing at rl713
Elenora's carried my first play through so hard they I banned it from my Ng+ run. They shit trivialised Malenia off all people. Although I did have to switch for the final boss.
I hope they don't nerf them! I think they're perfect right now I'm just always worried from software will nerf a weapon that doesn't need it because alot of people that are bad at the game die to it so they complain its to over powered.
Nobody uses Eneona's Poleblade. And as far as I can tell, for good reason. If he is insinuating that the hyperarmor has been buffed, he's wrong. Perhaps with enough poise it would work.
I may switch to twin blades. I'm still on my first playthrough and I'm using the Bloodhound's Fang. I love it but I want to try something else. I got some katanas but was kinda disappointed.
It may sound stupid but I think Black blade twin blades were just forgotten about when making the weapon. It can happen, I mean like think about it "Alright almost done with this weapon and-" "Did you finish Godskin peeler yet?" "Ah crap! I almost forgot!.....Ok I just finished everything I think OH FUCK! Black Blade!! Damn it forgot to put in ash of war, but the deadlines tomorrow!" 😬😳
8:25 i once tried the roar with bleed affinity and I don't know why but it deals 2× the bleed than normal when fully charging the heavy attack with the roar
Does anyone else just completely forget a weapons existence and randomly remember it because I just remembered the Golden epitaph.
No
I remembered the Cranial vessel candlestand... 😅
I use that to buff it’s great if you’re doing holy damage
vulgar militia sickle
For me it’s the ivory sickle, for pretty good reason too
"So hear me out...what if...we duct tape 2 rivers of blood together and make twinblade out of it?" Miyazaki sometime at game development
Plse no 😂😂😂
I use it along with power stance rivers of blood to get a trick weapon effect from bloodeborne
@@petertwigg7895 I'm using Rivers off hand, Seppuku Nagakiba on main hand and Eleonora's Poleblade for a second phase cosplay of Lady Maria
“This weapon art is notoriously hard to hit” *proceeds to land the entire bloodblade dance after using it as an opener*
That’s cause that was before the new poise patch
That is why I call Eleonora's Poleblade "Oceans of Blood"
damnn thats sick
Elenora's Poleblade gave me Darth Maul vibes, and I loved it.
Use normal twin blade with vykes AoW sometime. It gives me insane Star Wars vibes, it’s fun and OP
I’m actually running an inquisitor type cosplay with it currently. Dang thing is just too sick.
Ever since I first found it, I’ve been praying for the black blades to get something good because they have so much potential
Like you see the destined death whirl storm that the kindred does and then you see the two ended pocky he gives you and you’re like 😪
Just give them reskined ashes of war with the destined death effect and you're done. You know Black flame tornado? Make it red and give it destined death. There you have it, now the twinblade has something going for it. Do it for every other weapon.
12:45 Good lord, v1.10 actually made Bloodblade Dance good in PVP. I'm gonna have to run this now. 13:24 And it roll catches. Oh lawdy, lawdy.
It's still shit unless you remove your opponents thumbs. It's way too telegraphed and high commitment to be practically useful, but you can blender squads with it if they try to contest the hyper-armor.

The first hit still only does 40 poise damage on twinblades, most poeple should be able to tank it.
Godskin Peeler has a unique running heavy as well. It's a four hit combo and is terrifying if the thing is bleed or cold infused.
One of the most terrifying status effect builds in the game is a cold infused godskin peeler and eleonora's poleblade. Honestly the normal twinblade looks so good with your setup rn that it could actually be your character's canon weapon of choice.
Black Flame Blade is also great for twin blades since each hit adds to the life drain. Especially great on bosses
The gargoyle’s Black Blades would be so much cooler if it had that Destined Death tornado dash attack the Black Blade Kindred can do with it.
I didn't know the godskin peeler was infusible, I know blackflame tornado is an obtainable ash of war but I always just assumed it was an enchanted weapon like the golden halberd. Good to know

do normal and heavy thrusting sword videos, theyre easily my favourite weapon types in the game for pve, so fun. i wanna see how theyre used in pvp
The strongest aspect of eleonore twinblade AoW is its realy strong to catch people and not necessarly to attack straight with it.

My favourite weapon class. I roll twinned knight swords as it has the most range.
Twinblades and heavy thrusting swords were my main for my first playthrough.
Keep this up I love it try the dragon halberd for me pls ❤
Halberds soon!
Omg thx so much I’ve never been replied to by a creatir
With the gargoyle weapons the twinblade doesn't have any destined death stuff because it's dropped by a normal gargoyle. The other one is dropped by a black blade kindred. Dunno if anyone else has mentioned this or if you already knew this but yea

Great thrusting swords next please? Just for the Stitcher and Peeler to be side by side
I enjoy these vids so much man, we appreciate all of em🙏

Eleonara's Poleblade is my favorite enchanted weapon in the entire game. That and the broadsword are my two favorite weapons.

I would've liked to see twinblades stacked up better. They're such a fun weapon class, but there's not enough options
Oh, finally covered this one. Thanks for listening.
In PVE Eleanora has always been crazy. The amount of stagger damage its weapon art does makes PVE a breeze. Even most bosses.
Either heard me out last vid or had this on the menu but i love to see twinblade love. Btw bloody knight twinblade and frosty gargoiles twinblade with raptor chestplate and jump L1 is busted. Even better with twinblade talisman and mohgs talisman
Recognized this video’s thumbnail in Rusty’s new Crucible Knight ranking
Genuinely perfect timing I was just wanting to look into using twin blades
Eleonora's PB might not be the strongest and won't necessarily dominate in PvP but it's just so much fun to use and looks so baller. I love using it.
Eolanoras poleblade is underrated asl, its goes so f’ing hard
on my first playthrough (rn) and using the Poleblade, best choice i have ever made
Good video! I had my eyes on the twinblades before this video, but now i feel like i have to do a twinblade build
i did a run recently where i was power stancing two twinblades, and buffing the gargoyle's one with bleed, lightning, or black flame. it was verrrrry fun lol

Godskin Peeler and Eleonora are both top 5 for me. I prefer GP though because of its versatility. Rivals Nagakiba as my favorite weapon to use.
Twinblades are underrated, to be honest. The Twinned Knight Swords helped me beat RadaBeast, and it’s carried me to Maliketh in NG+ very quickly
some Duel of the Fates vibes from the Elenora's Poleblade lol
Twinblades are my favorite weapon class, bar none
Btw, for the twin blade, it had the blood affinity which is why it did so much blood loss
I really like the Gargoyle's TB over Eleonora's only because of the latter's stat requirements. If you are going for a bleed build, then sure, Eleonora's is the best, but the AR on the Gargoyle's is top tier if you build it right.
the god skin peeler actually has a unique running heavy that utilizes the spike too!
12:11 I AMMMMMM DAAARRTH MAAUULL
Bloody Gargs Twinblades are my favorite, that thing gets crazy good attack rating if you two hand it at 54str 45 arc, for pure str I'd be conflicted between using Gargs or Twinned Knight because the damage difference is way less and you get better reach with twinned knight's.
great video dude, love your vibes and passion hey, nice one
Bro got a little too exited in that invasion 7:20

Theese are really enjoyable! Maces next?
“Entire weapon classes that you never use”
As a blood borne player, And thus dex user,
For me that’s Great weapons. All of them. Basically never leveled them because I was already invested heavily in dex.
But I’ve been doing a new run, And... MAN, Troll Knight’s sword goes HARD.
The minute the man invaded into Shaded Castle, and a Rotten Breath gets shot out from the castle wall…
never slept on twinblades, always has been my favorite weapon type
the Gargoyle's Black Blades and the Quality Twinned Knight Sword have the highest DPS in the entire game for enchanted and unenchanted weapons when two-handing at rl713
Been loving these videos man, great fights. The godskin peeler is so good! Btw, is there any mod being used to have all these weapons maxed?
1.10 going crazy with bloodblade dance
the greatest of all the blades
Me, the Godskin Peeler fanatic.
Ah yes the circumciser 3000 is your favorite weapon
@@Aleccsei 💀
did a playthrough on NG+2 with a blood peeler and a cold peeler with seppuku and bloodhounds step and it was so freaking nuts
Need to make a build around these
I like the twined knight sword put storm assault (since it's a lot better now) on that and the banished knight armor AND BAM unique banished knight.
Fun fact: the super fancy twinblade is one of the few weapons that deal innate bloodfame.
Blood Godskin peeler has a really good blood loss buildup too
It has a better one if u build arcane up
I love twin blades, a twin blade got me through dark souls 2. The normal not scholar of the first sin.
Godskin peeler hands down..
liked for eleonora lol haven't used it but man does it look amazing!
13:26 go back to monkee 💪
if anyone didn't know Eleanors polablade has one of the highest poise damage in the game
I'm horrible at pvp so it's nice to see someone good and respectful
Elenora's carried my first play through so hard they I banned it from my Ng+ run. They shit trivialised Malenia off all people. Although I did have to switch for the final boss.
These and Katanas are my favourite. Just hate how the best looking Gargoyle weapons (the ones with black grease). Can't have their ash of war changed.
i just found out elenoras polearm (i know i misspelled that) looks like two mortal blades from Sekiro strapped together
BFT with bleed must be insane
Bro when i got my blood twin blade to lvl7+ i destroy almost any enemys. Thiq thing is op as hell.
I may switch to twin blades. I'm still on my first playthrough and I'm using the Bloodhound's Fang. I love it but I want to try something else. I got some katanas but was kinda disappointed.
13:28 mickeygasm
Correction, the Godskin Peeler actually has a unique running-R2
It may sound stupid but I think Black blade twin blades were just forgotten about when making the weapon. I almost forgot!.....Ok I just finished everything I think OH FUCK! Black Blade!! Damn it forgot to put in ash of war, but the deadlines tomorrow!" 😬😳
cant believe didnt use bloodflame to show you can become darth maul
8:25 i once tried the roar with bleed affinity and I don't know why but it deals 2× the bleed than normal when fully charging the heavy attack with the roar
That do be how they work. Try the Glaive with that setup.
Where would you place Euphoria in this list after the recent patch?
My favourite weapon class.
you actually usually power stance em
Ill be real I only use the peeler because it's moveset is close as I can get to competent staff combat
Elien- no. Darth Maul's pole blade.
