- A good friend and I went out for some fishing and adventure one beautiful clear sunny day. The water levels had been high for a day or two but were dropping fast. I knew the trout were in the river and so we shot in there using Glo Bugs. We hooked plenty of good trout throughout the day and had a heap of fun. It's what fishing and adventure is all about.Subscribe to my Chanel and post if you like my video's and would like to ask a question. Cheers Shane

Nice bit of river, looks like they are on spawn. Good to see you back.
Hey HerosEnd, good to see you too. Yeah full on spawning mate. Have you had a good season my friend?
I had a good season, discovered a few new spots.
Brilliant mate, that is what it is all about. Stay safe bro.
You too brother.
There's a couple of real fisherman for you. Gammy knees and smoking like a train. Looked like the TT? Thanks for sharing Shane, I enjoyed the roll cast vid as well, keep up the good work brother. Cheers, Craig
It's "Knee" bro not Knees, I'm not that old yet :) Can't speak for Craig though, he loves his cigies. Give me another 6 weeks and i'll be much better. Looking forward to getting out of these waders and having the cool water around my knee's, with the sound of Cicada's in my ears and the hot sun at my back. Thanks for the comments Craig, tight lines bud, see you soon.
just what I needed, Vic season opens soon
A bit of inspiration huh. Good stuff, I hope you have an excellent season.
rivergod21 the creeks are looking good too, cheers mate you too
is that a glowbug, with extra weight a little further up the line?
Hey corpeedo. yes our standard winter Rig For running trout is a weighted Nymph, (or Dropper) then a length of tippet of about 10 to 11 inches and a Glo Bug. We use fairly chunky indicators too. My whole rig from Indicator to Glo Bug, (point Fly), is about 10, to 11 feet, max.
Aaah cool, good to know cheers. Im heading to the Taupo area next month for a few casts. Been a mad-keen fly fisher in Otago when I was younger, but just getting back into it. Love your vids man.
