Great video! I really enjoyed watching this one! Those marbles…love using the blooming gel for marbling. I also like that latte color! It’s very pretty! Thanks Amanda! 💙💙💙
Great video! I am transitioning from acrylic to gel nails. I'm having trouble understanding what the difference is between builder gel and rubber base coat and regular base coat. Can you tell me what the closest to acrylic in terms of the strength is?
Hey lovely! The closest would be builder gel - that's the strongest of those 3 products and can be used to stregthen the nails as well as extending them with tips or sculpting... Rubber base coat is used to strengthen the natural nail, its great if you have weak or brittle nails and can be used under both builder gel and gel polish - regular base coat is simply a base for your gel polish or builder gel it's the base for you gel polish and helps keep it adhered but may not have the strengthening properties like a rubber base coat would. ♥️ hope this helps! If you need any help let ne know! ♥️
I have no trouble saying that builder gel is as strong as acrylic if not better than. I used to use acrylic and sometimes still will use it. But I mainly use hard builder gel. Rubber base colors too. The rubber base is good for the nail, it gives the nail a little bit of give but at the same time strengthens the nail. Especially good for thin nails, nails that crack and peel, damaged nails. Base gel gives something for all the other gel products to adhere too. 😊 Hopefully Amanda gets time to pop in and read this, she will add any tips she has. Hope this helped!

@Kiki.London Hi, and is rubber base coat used to adhere crystals as well?

Beautiful Amanda! TFS! 💖
Aww thank you lovely 😍
So, if you aren't putting gel polish on top of the rubber base, do you still have to put on a top coat?
Hey! Yes you would still need to top coat to seal in the base and prevent chipping etc ♥️
