I used grippy tape - its a clear thick tape that is removable and washable. I just cut a few tiny pieces to hold it, and works like a charm! Now i can move it to my other machine also.
Just bought one, hope you get credit for it. My Addi Pro’s counter got disconnected when we cleaned it. It never worked right anyway. I wonder if this would work on my Bond flat bed knitting machine.
For me in Australia the cost of one of these counters is the same price I paid for the Sentro machine ,$60 way to pricy. shame think they would work daisy In Australia
I just got the Sentro 40. Is your mushroom better with yarn than the Sentro 40? I’ve only used Addis’s. I’m spoiled. I got the Amazon row counter and it is too much! My yarn catches on it. I tried hot glue and it fell off. I’m going to order this right now! Thank you for your review.
Hi! I love my Mushroom knitting machine! I do need that counter though. They don't have that machine selected as a machine that this counter is made for. It was hard to figure out on the website if they have any now. Is it free shipping? Thanks.
May i ask why you placed the counter so far from the first needle and is that what is recommended? I bought one of these counters and was happy to find someone who has it mounted to their machine.
I just ordered a mushroom knitter from Amazon for $38. with free shipping because I'm a prime member. I have been waiting for a long time for the price to go down. Now I can afford it! I am assuming that this is a wonderful size to do most scarves On, especially For children. Have you done anything else on it? I will subscribe. God-bless you! After I get it I will use it for a while and see if I need a counter or not. I will probably mostly make scarves on it .......but if you can show me something that I really should have a counter for, I will get one of these.
thanks for the advice about the tape! I have multiple machines without counters and only one counter so I definitely didn't wanna glue them on
Yes! It is a lifesaver

Great little device, so useful for these machines. Your mushroom machine sounds nice too, way better than my 40 pin
I am very happy with my mushroom house. The only issue i have is a sticky handle every once and a while.
Thanks for sharing, good to know if I ever need a new counter and it’s my favorite color.
Cute machine and love the purple counter.
I'm hoping that these machines are available again soon!
I just got mine today 2 days early so happy to use it on my 22 pin one I was wondering where to put mine at and I like where you added yours .
Around peg 5 or 6
I bought 2! I got the one on Amazon too but it had so long wires etc.
I ordered 2 one for the 40 and the 32. Just got the 32 today in the mail
So exciting
Ooh I am new to machine knitting and I didn't know this existed! My Sentro has a row counter but it doesn't work, so I will be getting one of these!
It is pretty new, so a lot of people don't know about. The mushroom house isn't really avaliable right now, but I am so happy for the counter!
I use velcro on the counter as I have 3 machines and like to move it around.
So smart!
Is the magnet removable too?

@@TheAddiQueen You can make a storefront on Amazon and you will get some money back. I'm not sure how it all works since I haven't done one. :)
can you do a tutorial on how you installed it? thankss!!
The counter comes with instructions! So easy! All it does is slide onto the machine
So need one thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching! I love this counter
@@TheAddiQueen got my row counter for my 22 needle sentro absolutely love love it.

I placed it there because of the yarn feeder. With the counter being to the left, it is out of my way while I am working.
Does it count rows for flat panel?
Yes

Where did you get it?
The website is in the description
So is the magnet suppose to just snap on or is it glued on?
It snaps onto the machine, but the counter comes with glue. So i used it on the magnet too!
Does the magnet part slide in and out easy? Or is it permanently stuck in there?
It is glued on! Glue comes with the counter. On their website, it says you can use hot glue for a less permanent hold.
@@TheAddiQueen thanks for answering. That looks like it would make it difficult to fix a dropped or tucked stitch on that needle. I wonder if it is.
where did you get the 32 pin machine
Amazon
Does that counter have batteries in it or something? Some others I've seen have a cord on them and that would be really difficult for me.
Yes it is battery ran
How did it work when you were casting off
It kept counting and wasn't in the way. when I was ready to start another project, I just pressed the button to reset
I want this counter. I’m sad it’s back ordered tho 😭😭
Hopefully the back order won't last too long! They seem to restock pretty fast
@@TheAddiQueen oh that’s good to hear. Thank you! Great review
Selena! I just saw that they make a counter for addi machines too!
@@TheAddiQueen yup I saw they came out with them. I have the crank counters on my Addis so I only need them for my sentros
What kind of yarn to use on the 32 pin machine?
A thinner yarn. Probably a weight 3
Do you have a link for your row counter please 😉
