I was given a Temu counter same as yours but glad I found your video as my instructions were in Chinese 🥺 after hubby was ready to throw it out the window, I found another new magnet - a smaller one - and hey presto it worked. So the magnet came with the counter must have been faulty. We also stripped the wire back to a shorter length and tucked it under machine …. Very happy now I don’t have to count rows, especially when I’m singing aloud and forget where I’m up to. Thanks so much for your very informative post 🦘🦘🦘🦘 AUSSIE CRAFTER

do you have the yellow cylinder close to magnet! I had to adjust mine as it was t counting at first.. so watched video again and hers went really close to the magnet.. now works perfectly... Try that

You can cut the excess wire down and attach the new ends to the counter.

Let the machine run meanwhile you move the yellow part a bit closer to de magnet, and see where is the right spot for the counter to start working and then stick it in that place. Sometimes take a little bit more to find the right spot, I hope this helps

Doesn’t the knitted item cover the magnet and counter as it goes down into the middle? Does it still work with yarn covering it?

The sensor is on the same side of the yarn as the magnet meaning nothing gets between them
