That's why Elvis was and still is the King of entertainment. But there have been alot of other great entertainers as well. But Elvis really stands out.
This was just so good. Even in a worldwide performance Elvis cannot resist playing around with the audience and it makes it so much fun! Dani, Hope you have a very fun, relaxing and Happy Birthday!

Yeah. It was from the rehearsal the night before the satellite show. I mean it’s still a packed house and a real concert but they did this just Incase the satellite had some problems they would have either clipped this or played the full thing the next night as live
Dani, very much for your reaction to Elvis and the song Feaver. Elvis was still amazing with this song as much had another of those songs.
I first heard this song when I bought the "Elvis is Back!" album in 1960. It was my favorite song from the album. If I remember right, it was slightly longer than this version. I had already known the song from Peggy Lee's version. Happy Birthday 🎂

I'm just glad that you didn't listen to those that was trying to say you were like obsessed or something. I remember that performance by Elvis when I was much younger. I think I was like 14 or 15 when they showed it on television. I grew up loving Elvis Dani. What normal person wouldn't. Great reaction Dani. God bless you. I was looking forward to your reactions. Fever was first done by Little Willie John in 1956, then Peggy Lee made it a smash hit in 1958. Of course, Elvis could get fan reaction singing anything. I was around when he came up and will always be an Elvis fan. Happy Birthday Dani!

A friend of mine who was friends with Elvis told me he actually did not like that song….if he can do that with a song he didn’t like, imagine what he could do if he liked it 🤷♀️

This is the rehearsal version the night before the actual concert that was beamed via satellite. And this version of “fever” is better than the live version that went around the world. The audience was better he sang an extra stanza of the song!

This performance was recorded before the actual broadcast. I believe it was January 12, 1973. The actual broadcast was January 14, 1973 that was shown on TV around the world, live. The U S did not get to see it until April, 1973. It was what the producers described as a rehearsal shoot and released in the early 2000's on DVD and to me it was better produced and a lot better picture and sound quality than the actual broadcast. Loved your reaction to this. Hope to see more. Long live Elvis and his music.
