Some advice from a 73M power F2P player for KVK: Never fight open field because it's gonna be a waste of rss and speedups since you wouldn't have commanders as strong as whales and equipment. Join rallies because the power comes from the whale who has the 2 legendaries maxed and god-tier equipment so you can value your kills and deaths. Spend gems on wheel of fortune on a commander *FOR YOUR CITY'S SPECIAL UNIT* (If you are an archer player for example spend gems on YSG wheel of fortune. He is insane in open field battles even in the late game and probably will be for the next 5 years.) Be nice to everyone in your kingdom because getting zeroed is a f2p's worst nightmare and being supportive grants you friends and people welcome you to top alliances. Donate rss to your whales only in KVK And most importantly be active!

I am an F2P, and I love being in war. The most important thing I learned in my kingdom as a F2P War-Contributor was to only sacrifice troops that you are comfortable with losing. This really helped me keep my troops at a good amount.

Chisgule, I would argue that spending gems to VIP during more than gems is better than wheel of fortune. VIP gives long term value to F2P especially VIP 14. I haven't done the math but I believe that's the route F2P should do rather than spending gems on wheel of fortune unless you've reached VIP 14.
Tip that I like early on is 1, when attacking city’s always send in one March of t1 troops so that they take the majority of the damage and can be easily trained back again. And secondly is targeting the farm bots. The ones that are easy to spot will have France as there civilation and there name will look more like a code then a name. G2H7U8 and things like that. They will have only t2 troops and a lot of rss. Easir to take.
Dud donot ur dumb if u do that u wil get very low rs most ur troop die 100in 99 percent chances u will get attacked back and will be zeroed easily donot try to city fight unless u got lest 100k t2 troops or 85.78k to troops and can try to plunder rs if they are only ch 10 and ur like 13 my recommendation is just donot kvk until dark age or till u have 100k to troops in total and u least need 1 legendary commander. The best f2p commanders are Alexander the great and mohemed 2 for open field infanty is from tarven is Charles with sun tzu or ironside

Efficiency is the absolute most important part of this for any player. Use your AP smart, farm effectively. Spend rss/gems/speeds when it’s part of an event to maximize the rewards and benefits.
Im a f2p what I have learned so far is just spending on king of cards, wheels of fortune,some holidays eventd and more than gems (more than gems just when I want to get more vip points) Save all ap I can for kvk just using it for mg And one of the more important thing is being on a medium size kingdoms one that have 2 big alliance cuz in a way too small or dead kingdom u won't have a chance to win kvk, in a medium size kingdoms you will even have a chance to be on the set up rank for mg So far I had had a really enjoyable experience on RoK with this I even have good commander and vip10 on just 250 days
Thanks for all the tips. I agree on the gem management, joining strong alliances, the exp and barbs, commanders, civilizations, migrations and more. The only thing that is really hard to do if you are an f2p is having patience to cope up with everybody. My opinion is that focus on being the strongest by working hard on improving your accounts. So in the future you can be one of the players that can challenge other powerful players. It is gonna take years to do this but the strategy and experience is what makes the game fun and that you must protect it with your life. Its kinda like reality.
The allience tip is true. Im a 3.5 mil player that joined an 800mil power allience! ( also r3 ) The way i got in there is by talking to the leader on the player i am and asked him to get a chance. Honestly its SUPER easy to just ask to join an allience and explain what you do. I became r3 after showing my activity, what i did for the allience and just being a worthy player to keep ( without much power ) Literally im the lowest player there in power, but im r3 , and have been given premmision to send mails :)
personally i think that it makes sense for F2P to buy VIP points during MTG, if they can afford it while still having ample gems for wheel commanders that they want/need and the holiday events. getting VIP10 is a priority and can be slow for an F2P player, let alone getting VIP 12 for 2 heads or VIP14 for 3...

You should get to VIP 10 as first priority on your gems. Spend them on the more than gems event for that unless you get enough gems to reach VIP 9 before the event. Then go wheel of fortune or the second event you mentioned.
Hi Chisgule. Love the content you produce. I wondered if you could make a f2p series on recovering from being zeroed. My mate got zeroed in kvk2 and I want to give him as much support as I can to help him recover
F2p players spend their gems on vip during more then gems event. I'm also spending my gems at the wheel if i really see the need of that commander but vip is the way to go we get more legendary sculptures that way. We may not get vip 17 but vip 12 to 14 is doabale and more then enough for f2p.
Getting in Top or high spending Alliances is very difficult for F2P. I would make the argument that spending Gems on VIP during MTG is worth it. Getting to VIP 12-14 is important.
It is not so hard during kvk, you should applies when there's a fight going on. In these situations all alliances need people to fill rallies or garrisons, so you will be probably more than welcome. (Obviously after join the fighting etc. don't leave it for any reason! Stay there build flags donate rss to the alliance bank chat with people and so on.. be 'useful' so to say and don't annoy the people. )
I am not saying that its too hard to get into a Main Alliance, but keep in mind it isnt guranteed that you have an Alliance in your Kingdom that spends enough to push up your VIP. I am in a 9B Alliance but barely get 10k VIP Points in a Month.
I started in a newer kingdom and hated it. It wasn't well run, everyone was doing whatever and hitting lowbies, etc. Moved to K75 and have never been happier. Got into a great guild for my power level and everyone has been so helpful, regardless of alliance they're in.
I'm f2p player and it was a big help i came across this video before doing anything idiotic now im in 36M power with good sets of commanders and over 120M KPs...
It is impossible to get t5 because the barbarian fortresses are taking too much time ... I would suggest bringing the exchange of arrowheads into books into game. I've invested an average of 50 hours a week over the past 2 years. However, it is more lucrative to hunt barbarians or to spend the time on gathering ... Here is a picture to illustrate to what extent I, as a long member, have significantly more arrowheads than books (no picture ^^, I have 28k arrowheads and only 800 books, castle is level 19 and tower 24, everything maxed to the point where I need the castle to be 25...) could you speak to the support about this ❤️
It's possible to get T5 but not by deafeating barbarian forts😂 it took me forever to do that. Killibg barbarians is the way to go If you have ysg expertised the it's even better by chaining barbs and at the same time you will get arrows and gems to buy those books way faster then rallying forts. YSG also saved alot of AP! That's why so many people call him the best legendary commander in the game. Sent 4 of your commanders to gather gems and chain barbs with YSG.
Spending some gems to get to VIP 10 quickly is a fair point, and has good ROI. That said, being in a great alliance will make it so that you don’t have to spend nearly as many gems on VIP to hit those milestones.

In July 2019 When I was at 5 million power I came across to the top 1 alliance in the kingdom that had 1.2 billion power that time. The leader wouldn’t let me in so I talked off the leader that I’m very active and I gain power very fast and I should deserve a chance. After that the leader let me in the alliance and after the leader saw my very fast progress I got promoted to r3. But then the alliance was no longer in the 1st place spot and got dropped to the 3rd rank spot so the leader of the alliance transferred leadership to me and went to join the Top 1 alliance. But then in September 2020 my alliance went into a civil war. It was all going well in the start and we were destroying their alliance flags but then the alliance we were in war with allied with a very strong alliance and then we starting losing and lost alot of alliance flags and alot of members started leaving cuz they kept losing resources and troops from the war and some of them even got zeroed. and then I had to delete the alliance because I also got zeroed from the war. The war ended in March 2021 when I deleted the alliance.
Can I start over with a new account with the tips you gave? Of course if I start in an older kingdom I’ve missed out on all the rewards. Or should I start a new acc in a new kingdom and just work up?
@chisgule bro im a f2p and saved 130k gems for alex wheel and spent them all , the only thing i got was freaking rss not even speed ups ,from that time and so on i only spend them on card king which getting those heads are guranteed
Only thing i don't get is you're concern about the excess useless sculptures, after KvK you can trade the excess ones in for other stuff... so even the excess ones aren't totally useless
As a F2P myself i think you are forgetting 1 very very important thing in the game and that is equipment. F2P also need to get some good equipment. Now i am not saying they should get all the leggendarys cause that is definetly not smart but going for full epic equipment sets on your strongest marches is defintly something you should do as a F2P and that requirers some gems spending as well. Can be trough vip shop to get bleuprints if thats all you need or do roll the dice to a certain point. (40 rolls total for example) to get more materials and some bleuprints.
I personally think as f2p, we should focus on getting through vip 10/12/14 for daily legendary sculpture. Then spending gems on wheels to get or at least unlock Richard, YSG, Khan, Alex, and so on. After that focusing on T5. Equipment can be done along the way side by side but should not be your #1 priority.

I used to spend a lot of time on the game, 12 to 14 hours a day but the Queen of our kingdom because I don't have the money to waste on troops in KVK by being suicidal when we didn't have a chance to win and don't have any money to spend period because I have retirement income from S.S. and that's it. Well she sent a rally to zero me and I lost 30 million power both in my main account and in my farm and I lost over 2 billion in RSS and I just come on for two or three hours.
I literally just spent all 25k gems I'd been saving on More Than Gems, like an hour ago. There should be a pop up in-game with your face when people are about to make huge mistakes like this

I'M NOT Chis bur if i may answer your comment personally i think vip is the best it will give you so much value over time but spending gems at the wheel is also good if you want a strong legendary commander i went the T5 route with weak legendary commanders and it sucked. You will benefit the most with strong legendary commanders. My friend kicked my butt because he had better commanders then me from the wheel and all i focused on was t5 and vip.
I'm just spend my gems for commander item (except not recommend commander) and I'm still focusing my primary (starting) commander until have 'expertise'

Hey could you make a video about the skills in ark and testing how they work. The skills often confuse a little and im curious if they work as soon as the game starts. For example if you use hurl stone at start at your obelisk will it start occupying immediately?
Hurl stone cost 5 Ark skill bars. You don't have a full Ark skill bar at the start of the match, so you wouldn't be able to use that. Recent update now gives you 3 Ark skill bars at the start of the match, so you can immediately use skills that cost 3 or less bars, like Divine Aid.
@@joepatroopa3659 I just checked the practice Ark and it's still 5 skill bars. Also the skill says "deals direct damage to garrisoned troops" so it would have no effect on an unoccupied structure anyway.

If the building has no garrison you will immediately occupy it. Skill cost adjusted to 3 Energy Bars. I would love to send you a ss of it to make it clearer but thats a bit hard lol. F2p players spend their gems on vip during more then gems event. I'm also spending my gems at the wheel if i really see the need of that commander but vip is the way to go we get more legendary sculptures that way. We may not get vip 17 but vip 12 to 14 is doabale and more then enough for f2p.
More than gems event is good for f2p when you need to buy blueprints for buildings

Getting in Top or high spending Alliances is very difficult for F2P. I would make the argument that spending Gems on VIP during MTG is worth it. Getting to VIP 12-14 is important.
It is not so hard during kvk, you should applies when there's a fight going on. In these situations all alliances need people to fill rallies or garrisons, so you will be probably more than welcome.
(Obviously after join the fighting etc. don't leave it for any reason! Stay there build flags donate rss to the alliance bank chat with people and so on.. be 'useful' so to say and don't annoy the people. )
I am not saying that its too hard to get into a Main Alliance, but keep in mind it isnt guranteed that you have an Alliance in your Kingdom that spends enough to push up your VIP. I am in a 9B Alliance but barely get 10k VIP Points in a Month.

I started in a newer kingdom and hated it. It wasn't well run, everyone was doing whatever and hitting lowbies, etc. Moved to K75 and have never been happier. Got into a great guild for my power level and everyone has been so helpful, regardless of alliance they're in.

It is impossible to get t5 because the barbarian fortresses are taking too much time ... I would suggest bringing the exchange of arrowheads into books into game. I've invested an average of 50 hours a week over the past 2 years. However, it is more lucrative to hunt barbarians or to spend the time on gathering ... Here is a picture to illustrate to what extent I, as a long member, have significantly more arrowheads than books (no picture ^^, I have 28k arrowheads and only 800 books, castle is level 19 and tower 24, everything maxed to the point where I need the castle to be 25...) could you speak to the support about this ❤️

It's possible to get T5 but not by deafeating barbarian forts😂 it took me forever to do that. Killibg barbarians is the way to go If you have ysg expertised the it's even better by chaining barbs and at the same time you will get arrows and gems to buy those books way faster then rallying forts. YSG also saved alot of AP! That's why so many people call him the best legendary commander in the game. Sent 4 of your commanders to gather gems and chain barbs with YSG.
Dude forget. You farm gems and u max castle that way.
Jumped mine from 21 to 25 just from last kvk farming

You forget about vip points , as a f2p spending gems is the only way to get a lot of vip need to reach vip10 at least for the gold sculpture
Spending some gems to get to VIP 10 quickly is a fair point, and has good ROI. That said, being in a great alliance will make it so that you don’t have to spend nearly as many gems on VIP to hit those milestones.

Hey Chisgule, Nice video once again. How's about a video about shrines and altars? How much there are in the kingdom, which one is a must have for kvk...
In July 2019 When I was at 5 million power I came across to the top 1 alliance in the kingdom that had 1.2 billion power that time. The leader wouldn’t let me in so I talked off the leader that I’m very active and I gain power very fast and I should deserve a chance. After that the leader let me in the alliance and after the leader saw my very fast progress I got promoted to r3. But then the alliance was no longer in the 1st place spot and got dropped to the 3rd rank spot so the leader of the alliance transferred leadership to me and went to join the Top 1 alliance.
But then in September 2020 my alliance went into a civil war. It was all going well in the start and we were destroying their alliance flags but then the alliance we were in war with allied with a very strong alliance and then we starting losing and lost alot of alliance flags and alot of members started leaving cuz they kept losing resources and troops from the war and some of them even got zeroed. and then I had to delete the alliance because I also got zeroed from the war. The war ended in March 2021 when I deleted the alliance.

Both can be worthwhile. If you need 5 marches to barb, that’s worth. Mostly though I like research to advance your account.

@chisgule bro im a f2p and saved 130k gems for alex wheel and spent them all , the only thing i got was freaking rss not even speed ups ,from that time and so on i only spend them on card king which getting those heads are guranteed

Only thing i don't get is you're concern about the excess useless sculptures, after KvK you can trade the excess ones in for other stuff... so even the excess ones aren't totally useless
As a F2P myself i think you are forgetting 1 very very important thing in the game and that is equipment. F2P also need to get some good equipment. Now i am not saying they should get all the leggendarys cause that is definetly not smart but going for full epic equipment sets on your strongest marches is defintly something you should do as a F2P and that requirers some gems spending as well. Can be trough vip shop to get bleuprints if thats all you need or do roll the dice to a certain point. (40 rolls total for example) to get more materials and some bleuprints.

I personally think as f2p, we should focus on getting through vip 10/12/14 for daily legendary sculpture. Then spending gems on wheels to get or at least unlock Richard, YSG, Khan, Alex, and so on. After that focusing on T5. Equipment can be done along the way side by side but should not be your #1 priority.

I used to spend a lot of time on the game, 12 to 14 hours a day but the Queen of our kingdom because I don't have the money to waste on troops in KVK by being suicidal when we didn't have a chance to win and don't have any money to spend period because I have retirement income from S.S. and that's it. Well she sent a rally to zero me and I lost 30 million power both in my main account and in my farm and I lost over 2 billion in RSS and I just come on for two or three hours.
I literally just spent all 25k gems I'd been saving on More Than Gems, like an hour ago. There should be a pop up in-game with your face when people are about to make huge mistakes like this

I'M NOT Chis bur if i may answer your comment personally i think vip is the best it will give you so much value over time but spending gems at the wheel is also good if you want a strong legendary commander i went the T5 route with weak legendary commanders and it sucked. You will benefit the most with strong legendary commanders. My friend kicked my butt because he had better commanders then me from the wheel and all i focused on was t5 and vip.

Hey could you make a video about the skills in ark and testing how they work. The skills often confuse a little and im curious if they work as soon as the game starts. For example if you use hurl stone at start at your obelisk will it start occupying immediately?
Hurl stone cost 5 Ark skill bars. You don't have a full Ark skill bar at the start of the match, so you wouldn't be able to use that.
Recent update now gives you 3 Ark skill bars at the start of the match, so you can immediately use skills that cost 3 or less bars, like Divine Aid.
@@davidb5205 hurl stone has been updated to only cost 3 skill bars. So it can be used in the beginning.
@@joepatroopa3659 I just checked the practice Ark and it's still 5 skill bars. Also the skill says "deals direct damage to garrisoned troops" so it would have no effect on an unoccupied structure anyway.
@@davidb5205 i shall quote exactly how its written in the patch notes: Hurl Stone: Deals skill damage to targeted building’s garrison (Damage Factor 10000). If the building has no garrison you will immediately occupy it.
Skill cost adjusted to 3 Energy Bars.
