    He filed HUNREDS of false documents and they charge him on 2? If this were you or I, it would be a separate charge for EACH one. If there is no justice there is no liberty.

    I watched all 6 episodes of this report and I commend you for your work uncovering these abuses of power . How awful these cops were enforcing the laws on citizens while breaking laws on a daily basis . Makes you wonder how we can watch so many employees effectively .

    You must remember that this is going on at every Police agency across this country. Most people have no idea the leval of corruption in all branches of law enforcement in our once great nation. And don't except it to ever stop, this behavior is the Rule not the exception.

    Yes please reach out to other cities, counties, states please encourage journalists and reporters to investigate these crimes. This does not only happen in Louisiana. My wife and I have been victims ourselves. And I’m I am a separated master at arms U.S. Navy. I was instructed by my superiors to commit similar crimes until I stood up and said no!

    “... and today, 4 Louisiana State Troopers surrendered themselves to Louisiana State Police Detectives” ... ah the sound of sweet justice, music to my ears. Just wish we had high class news investigators like this around the entire country. Only God knows the rampant corruption going on in each and everyone of our beautiful 50 states.

    Hmmmm how about federal charges on top of that?
    How about refund all tickets written by these corrupt criminal state troopers?
    And how about their supervisors not catching this?
    That is at the least incompetence, or were they getting paid off, that's criminal.

    I fail to see why anyone is surprised by this series. I drove a truck for 35 years and went through LA on a regular basis. I was informed very early on by other drivers that I should plan on PAYING THE COPS when traveling through LA and found this to be very true throughout my career.

    So why can't I find any stories on these criminals being sentenced? Did the LSP and some crooked judge successfully bury this issue and let them go? Gotta be accountability for everyone - cuz, as we all know, "NO ONE is above the law"! Great work to the investigative team and station mgr for airing it!

    This is a fine example of investigative journalism. This makes the 1st. amendment shine brightly. I find it so sad that this is rare among 'so called' journalists today. Most young media workers are just lazy and watch 'the news' and then report what they saw. Shame on them.

What we’re shocked about is people are actually being held accountable!       I've checked for an update. There is still no prosecution of the criminal case over a year and a half later. Apparently, there exist different rules for us and them.

    Does anyone know if any of them submitted any of their time sheets, reports, information, etc by mail, or was everything handed in? If anything was submitted by mail it is automatically a Federal Felony for each false document.

    I congratulate and thank you for your investigation for bringing to light these incidents of misconduct and abuse of the public trust. Would , might add, hope other states do a similar independent investigation into possible incidents of similar misconduct and abuse of public servants who are paid by taxpayer monies. An audit as such is needed to insure the swamp is drained and all such incidents be not only prosecuted but records made so these perpetrators of such violation not be put back into positions of public trust ever again.

      As of Oct 2019, none have been convicted or even processed for trial for this fraud. Different rules for us and them, apparently.

    first order of operations when makin overtime.. never make more than the executives, presidents, supervisors, and anyone else that has a much higher base salary than urs (about +50k).. always stay right in the middle, under the radar..
