Although basing and painting mini's go hand in hand, I find I struggle way more with creating a solid base than getting better at painting. This was helpful, thanks!
Thanks, Bluefangs! I hope this video broke it down for you. There are free basing materials all around and you can achieve great results with very little. Take care!
Well hello there! Wonderful video, as always. I've been watching your channel since it was recommended to me, but through youtube on a ps3. Finally joined the pc world, and now I can comment on, and share your videos. I want to thank you for hours of quality videos, and am looking forward to all you have in store. Can't wait for your next one. Keep up the good work, and have a great week.
Welcome, Robby! Glad you make the transition, I can relate. I finally bought my first adult computer like 3 years ago to start making content like this video. Thanks for watching!
Excellent work! I suffer from basing boredom, and it's usually the last step I do just to get it out of the way - but I really liked how to took the model's pose in consideration when building the base. Makes me want to focus on my bases more.
"....to replace the one that's been carefully sculpted by a professional." 😁 Really good tip how to use the leftover milliput. Usually I only make stones from it. 😊👍🤘
We're in the land of chaos...in the game and in real life 😂 on a serious note...I love how you took so many random things we all probably have somewhere in our craft supplies and created something so nice! 🙂
Awwyeah, basing material is all around us. We just need to see it from a miniature perspective. I go hiking quite often and always come back with a bit of new material. Onwards we go!
Another informative and entertaining video. You mentioned "discarded bones". Where might one acquire these? I have been basing up a chaos army and would like to add some piles of bones and skulls to the hero figs. I'm having trouble finding pre-fab bones. Thanks.
Thanks man! Discarfed bodies are all around. I pike the citadel box o skulls and usually buy an extra box if skeletons for basing. Their rusted weapons and helmed skulls paint a nice picture.
Nice video. It helped me a lot. So, after creating the base.. The primer covers everything? Or am I getting this wrong and I should prime the model first?
@@SamLenzArtwork awesome. This helps me a lot. Thanks for sharing the knowledge and keep the great work all mighty Lenz... Perhaps next video would be about the riddle of steel XD.
Awww yeahhhh, I like them putty spires! Looks sweet.
Yeah buddy! Give it a whirl!
You sir, are a top bloke 👍
Thanks buddy 🍻
Just what my ADD needed! Love the putty spiral hack to make use of the wasted leftovers, too!
Haha, glad to hear that! ADD is a strength!

I knew you were going to say finagling
Heh, basing is all about finagling 😎
All Hail the Chaotic You Tube Algorithm Gods!
Huzzah!

The primer covers all, sometimes ill prime the model separately if there are some deep areas that may be missed. Thanks for watching!
