Absolutely stunning! I love that you get right into the project, succinctly describing material and on to painting. I have subscribed and look forward to seeing more. If you don’t mind, how long do you bake the glasses and at what temperature? Thank you.
Thanks so much for your kind words & for subscribing! The FolkArt Multi-surface & enamel paints have the following directions on the label: Allow painted item to dry for 24 hours to be sure all layers of paint have dried. Place project in a cool oven, as the glass must heat gradually with the oven to avoid breakage; do not place glass in a hot oven. Set oven temperature to 350ºF. Once temperature has reached 350ºF, allow the project to bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off and let glass cool down completely before removing from the oven. Do not use for 72 hours.
Beautiful work!! 🌹Did you learn these techniques on your own through watching you tube videos, art classes or you just have a natural talent for this ? Im trying to find glass painting classes in my area ? Thanks in advance 😊
The FolkArt Multi-surface acrylics are the paints I use & I clean the brushes with water between changing colors. When my project is completed I use Dawn dish detergent and warm water. 😊
Thank you! No, just be sure to use some rubbing alcohol on glass before you paint. It removes dirt, dust & bodily oils so the paint adheres. Also, I apologize for the delayed response. I've been "off the grid" for awhile. 😊🎨
To answer your question, I'm not exactly sure. I have glasses I painted 5 years ago that still look like new, but we don't use them daily. The FolkArt Multi-surface acrylic paint that I use has a built-in sealer, plus I cure it by baking the glasses in the oven. Eventhough they are supposedly dishwasher safe (top shelf only), I always recommend "if handmade, handwash!" Thanks for your question! Happy holidays! 😊
Thanks so much! The FolkArt Multi-surface acrylics that I use have a built in sealer. I bake the glasses following the instructions on the label. I also recommend hand washing the glasses to customers, even though they're supposedly dishwasher safe (top shelf only). 🙂
Thanks so much! FolkArt Acrylics have a built-in sealer. You can bake the painted glassware according to the label or it will cure on its own in 2-3 weeks. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching! 🙂🎨
Hi Carolyn! Thanks for watching! I follow the instructions on the FolkArt multi-surface acrylic label: "Set oven temperature to 350ºF. Once temperature has reached 350ºF, allow the project to bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off and let glass cool down completely before removing from the oven. Oh my! I loved watching. I used to paint on wood crafts. But I love this on glass! You are so talented!

What do you use to clean glass paint off your brushes?
The FolkArt Multi-surface acrylics are the paints I use & I clean the brushes with water between changing colors. When my project is completed I use Dawn dish detergent and warm water. 😊
Stunning! Thank you for sharing.
Do the glasses need to be sealed at all before use?
I also d'like to know

I was wondering how long the paint can last if we use and wash the glass every day?

These are gorgeous. Im curious. How do you seal your work? Won't the paint wash off?

Beautuful what kind of paint you use?
Thanks! I use FolkArt Multi-surface Acrylics. In my opinion, they're the best!
Which colour do you use pls tell
The roses are painted with FolkArt Multi-surface Acrylic in magenta & white. 😊
Why does my paint look translucent on the glass? I’m putting a lot of paint in my brush.
What brand of paint are you using? FolkArt Multi-surface acrylics are what I use. They also make enamel paint, specifically for glass painting.
Hello very nice. How do you fix the painting ?
Thanks so much! FolkArt Acrylics have a built-in sealer. You can bake the painted glassware according to the label or it will cure on its own in 2-3 weeks. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching! 🙂🎨
@@paintthis thanks a lot. So after 3 weeks they will resist to handwashing, even without the oven
