This channel does such a great job of highlighting the bridge between internal processes and concrete actions. Just what I needed to hear and so artfully explained. Thank you!
Recently I rediscovered in my dream to be perfectly disciplined because I was inspired by a story that resonated with me more than any other story has it's a story about a hero who decides to follow her dreams with everything she has no matter how impossible her dream may be. And this story help me ReDiscover who I am. I am someone who strives for perfection pushing onward no matter how difficult or impossible it made be someone who pushes forward in spite of basically guaranteed failure to grow as high as I can possibly can even if I never truly reached my goal.
@spoonfedstudy recently what I've been doing to pursue this dream is trying to get the highest rank in fortnite's zero build ranked. I know it helps increase my discipline for several reasons. 1: I don't particularly enjoy playing fortnite. 2: I often find it discouraging to play in the ranked because I lose so often. 3: because it gives me a tangible goal that I can see how close I am to achieving. I've been chipping away at this for a little bit over a month spending hours trying to get better each day. It's not the most pleasant experience but I keep doing it because I know it's helping me be more disciplined and I plan to keep doing it until I reach that goal that seems so impossible right now and after that I'll try something even more difficult even if I don't know what that is right now.
@@spoonfedstudy right now I'm trying to get to the highest rank in fortnite zero build mode because it's one thing I know helps my discipline for several reasons. 1: I don't find fortnite particularly enjoyable 2: I find it very discouraging to play because of how often I lose 3: it gives me a clear goal I can work towards and see how much progress I'm making or not making.
Love that you throw in jokes and don't take this all to seriously. You can really tell who is just a guy trying to sell a course and those who are trying to actually make a change by how seriously they take themselves. Too many self help people rely on emotionally charged statements and taking advantage of a fleeting sense of motivation rather than truly actionable steps.
This really came when I needed it. Just last night, due to my upcoming nightmarish physics exam I had an anxiety attack and just cried for two hours out of pure stress because I couldn't solve the questions and I felt worthless. Now I'm going to go back to studying and build my R up!!
it was actually very helpful and powerful to explaining mindfulness before mentioning it directly.. it really did dodged the pre conceived notions... brilliant !!!🙌🙌🙌
Mindfulness is truly the Swiss Army Knife to changing your life. The important thing to know though is that it is a tool, not the answer itself. Mindfulness without understanding *basic* psychology can actually be harmful. You need to be able to recognize what you're looking at, not just exposing yourself naked to the explosions going off in your pysche. Be careful out there!
Your videos are sooo frick'n good, I'm amazed you dont have 3m subscribers. You deserve it, I will continue to share you with my friends and the classes I teach. KEEP IT UP!!
If I had to choose between 3 million subscribers vs having a regular viewer like yourself engaged and commenting with such nice words of encouragement, I’d choose you in a heartbeat! Thank you 🙏❤️
The first music is so much better than the others. It's perfect to support the mythical unstoppable ascension the narrator tells so well. But maybe I am biased.
Shout out to all the kids that were promised "marshmallows" multiple times, only to have them taken away. The avoidance of trying too hard, due to a pathological belief in inevitable failure, means a long road to resilience. This gives them hope. 😊

This dude's 'quirky' wit amuses me... and yet he delivers solid content that is actionable.
lol thanks brother. To be honest, half the fun for me is sneaking these stupid jokes into all these videos

Love this guy ❤
This was great thanks mate
I don't fear of failure at all. Seriously.
I fear to live my life not in the way I want but live a life that anybody wants me to
That’s understandable. Finding the courage to be authentic with yourself can be a lifelong journey. You got this though!
@@spoonfedstudy MOS start be someone that I can trust and work on it before u want something from me.
