Well, Australian Mcdonalds currently has two types of bacon depending on what you order. The type seen in the video is called Rasher bacon, the other type is thinner and crispier, and unsurprisingly is called crispy bacon. Probably closer to the US idea of bacon. The majority of Bacon we'd use in Australia is Rasher bacon though, which I believe comes from British traditions, since that's also what you'd usually see in England... (Like, say, if you ordered a proper 'full English' breakfast, you'd get Rasher bacon, just like this, not some other kind. Scrambled eggs, rasher bacon, tomato, sausage, sometimes mashed potato... Yeah...)

Nah uk bacon is different. Its not smoked and its a little watery when you try pan fry it. Apparently some places have been caught pumping it with water to add weight... to cook uk bacon without broiling it you kinda need to grill it instead on a rack. Least thats my experience. American Bacon tends to be thin and crispy. Thicker cuts bacon we tend to call ham. What makes American Bacon good is it's overall thin-ness, fat to meat ratio, and smoke flavor. It's definitely not healthy for consumption.
I've lived in Canada the past 35 years, and have never heard anyone refer to "American style bacon" as "rashers". We call American bacon "bacon" and Canadian bacon "Canadian bacon". A rasher is just a UK term for a slice of bacon.

Frozen coke is a lot smoother. I've never had a "slurpee" or "Icee" as I'm Australian, but compared to the other slushies I have had, frozen coke is smoother, if that makes any sense
