@@DarthSalt06 I found het more than reasonable as well, and agree with her on the IKEA food. You get what you pay for anyway. I'd rather throw in an extra dollar or 2 and have nice noodles someplace else.

Meatballs at IKEA aren't like homemade Swedish meatballs. Because they are boiled. Homemade meatballs are seared in a frying pan (or sometimes oven if you're making tons in a hurry) so they have a slightly crunchy outer texture . Everyone I know also adds finely chopped onions to the meatball mix.

In the US we have it cafeteria style. You go up with your tray and tell them what you want. They'll fix it for you. They also have some prepackaged salads, sandwiches, and desserts which you can grab if you want to. So it's pretty much similar to Swedish IKEA. And yes, their ice cream is amazing.
Lynxine ice creams probably only amazing in a country that knows how to make soft ice. Here in germany it once was amazing, but now it's just vanilla ice cream in softice form…

When she said scandinavians loves their sweets i was like guuuuurl what the hell are you taking about? More like the americans loves their sweets :b when i was in the USA i almost had a sugar-attack because the americans i lived with ate so much sweet stuff! you eat pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast which is a dessert in most nordic countries :b
Exactly! I am a Scandi (Swede) and I would say that we are more about the salt!
IKR im from sweden they eat sooo much sugar in USA
vs.TheVendingMachine I'm Norwegian I feel the same way
WORD
vs.TheVendingMachine *omg, somebody has a different culture than I do therefore it must be horrible*
Firstly, you didn't have to eat the stuff your American friends ate. Its not like these things don't exist in Scandanavian countries. What would you suggest? licorice?

One thing that really fascinates me about you Americans is that you eat cake with a fork. I've always used a spoon, and so has everyone I know xD
Greetings from Sweden!
People eat cake with spoons here too. We don't ONLY use forks.
Taylor Burt Haha okay, sorry then :P
I use fork
If its cake by itself its with a fork but if you have like ice cream to go with it you eat it with a spoon at least that's what I do
+Taylor Burt No, you are right, you use your bare hands to eat cake.
I live in Sweden we don't have all these IKEA meals
Edit : thought I was the only one that hasn't seen these dishes
But I guess not lol
va? Jo... förutom dryckorna och kakan.
Jordan Left nä inte i Valbo
