This channel deserves way more subs then it currently has... Honestly I don't think I'll ever want to setup this rocket 'cause I like to build stuff by myself, but OMG this is inspiring. Now I sit here and recall all of the SE showcase videos... None of them come near this level. The combination of looks, usefulness and complexity that goes into this is mindboggling.
I've been waiting for this for a couple days, and I'm glad to see it up today! Some things were unclear when I initially got it in game. Specifically, the maintenance and payload modules. I didn't know you could ditch the module to replace it. So that could have been a little more clear in the description. I would project and build the rocket, but didn't know what was needed to make the laser satellites and get them deployed. Also wasn't clear what the differences were between orbital and edge. I'll can get the rocket to launch, and then deploy. But I've only seen one satellite deployed without solar arrays, and the rest just never showed up on antenna. I'll keep playing with it, but great video and great project!
I'm curious about the user interface at around 0:45 to 1:15. I noticed that the UI displays a Q and E, seemingly to indicate that you should be able to use these buttons to switch the menu, but you explain that you use the numeric toolbar options instead. Can you also use Q and E and any other buttons? Is there a reason not to do this?
That interface is a recolored version of the in-game script "SDS-OS" from the Steam Workshop. All you need to interface with the monitor is a single hotkey to run "wasd" on the PB. Once you press it, you can interface with the screen with W, A, S, D, Q, E, and Spacebar.
Loving this rocket and can truly say it has blown my mind with its looks and functionality, may I ask with when editing the speed what do I need to change to allow more time for it to slow down on its decent as upon before re-entry it stayed at 100 m/s but after hitting atmo it topped out at 300 m/s a and smash into earth
Did the parachutes opened at all? If they did but it still hit the ground maybe you could try to add all the parachutes to the "Timer Block - Landing 2" and enable parachutes deploy altitude to around 3000m. If that won't work let me know
So to build it in online game I have to change the missile load in singke game then save it to print it in game right ? And what's the setup for the satellites to send single when they detect enemy in orbit ?
Oh and the mining module is separate because the size of the rocket's blueprint was already to big, but the principle for attaching it would be the same
doesn't space engineers not have proper orbits? Is it a mod, or did they change this? I remember it beeing pretty much impossible to get a stable orbit around a planet
@@Pro100tv9 okay, thanks. I found that out myself, so I got it working. Quick question, how long does the Orbit mission (the one to deploy the radial satellites) take?
This is a really cool setup. Does it use less fuel than a normal transport ship? Or do you just think the rocket design is cooler, so that's what you went with? And how many hours do you have?
Yeah, I could say that it's fuel efficient. There're a few features like thrust amount selection, scripted autopilot or auto-thrust override, that helps with that. Especially when it starts to orbit (it takes around 30% of total fuel capacity to launch and do the full orbit around Earth).
It is a shame that in-game scripts are needed for so many functions of the rocket, most of these functions should be vanilla by now. I feel sorry for the Xbox Community.
Wow! This is great! And if you're RPing in space engineers THIS is how you do it. Deploying satellites, recovering rocket engines. Good job :)

This is truely masterful engineering

Thanks! I admit that I rushed with that description. Don't have too much time to play these days. I hope that this video will be useful though 🙂
@@Pro100tv9 Indeed it is! I now know more about it than when I first subscribed to it!
Honestly give it time this is going spawn Lots of use with the comunity guaranteed
Great video, I love the rocket design!Wow! 7k! Great job😁
I'm nerding out over here! Awesome!!!! This is quality content, excellent job!!!
would like to say thankyou your videos help me out alot
Thank you, it means a lot to me!

Can't wait to see the updated miner.

I'm still waiting for you to tell me, how to set up an AI that plays SE for me.
We're getting there 😁
i tired adding the lcd panels that arent in the blueprint but don't know how to get them to display the correct information
your videos make me want to get a PC

There are two projectors with the blueprints of the modules already implemented in the rocket, you can turn them on in the last sub-menu
Oh and the mining module is separate because the size of the rocket's blueprint was already to big, but the principle for attaching it would be the same
Lady… you are amazing!
You are so good!!!!
Can u add the launch pad to mod io love your builds and videos lean so much
Hey Kris, I'm not it's original author
this is awesomee!

Help, it won't let me select control on the orbit controller remote control, what do I do?
Make sure that your broadcasting is turned on and you're in the antenna range
@@Pro100tv9 okay, thanks. I found that out myself, so I got it working. Quick question, how long does the Orbit mission (the one to deploy the radial satellites) take?
Gonk :]
My screen isn't working. How can i fix it? And where can i enable the in-game scripts?
There's an option to do that in the world settings

I think I have around 2500 hours
@@Pro100tv9 thats not all that much more than me. I have 2100
Will you make a video on how to make your control panels w/ its functionality?
Yes, in fact it's in progress right now 🙂
I cant use the controls on it is that because my game is modded?
Perhaps the in-game scripts are not enabled in the world settings?
Woah Whos that WolfzTube Guy in your discord server he seems pretty cool
Lol 🙂
does this work for the real orbits mod?
I don't know, never used that mod
I cant use the Rocket because the screen does not work. Any way to fix it?
Try checking if the in-game scripts are enabled in your world settings
i can't press the control button on the orbitcontroller can anyone help me?
Hey Ryan, make sure that the rocket is in your antenna range and your personal broadcast is On
I like this Rocket, but something doesnt work. I cant control the menu
Check if the in-game scripts are turned on in the world settings, I think that may be the issue over here
it doesnt let me control the rocket
Check if your personal broadcasting is on
I don´t think you can call this "Orbit". In SE you are parking in Space. There is no movent and therefore there is no Orbit.
It´s simply the Altitude
It's moving around the planet so I guess you can call it an orbit
lol rocket rocoery
