Hi Dr Ibreez and thank you for this video.
Please how can i know what clinical courses are relevant to cardiothoracic surgery, which i can take.. also, how can i go about taking the courses? Thank you
Hi Dr. Ibreez,
May an IMG come to The UK for Royal College exams in the months of February/ May/ August (particularly, MRCP parts 1 and 2) such as what happens in PLAB 1 and 2?
Or would one just be forced to sit for MRCPs at international exam centers?
Yes you can if you have a valid visa.
Hi
Thank you for your help. I’m really confused because I had an IMT interview last year and the clinical scenario I got had nothing to do with medical emergencies, and also was a bit tricky. It wouldn’t have been covered in the emergency section of the oxford clinical handbook at all. Also, I started talking about the ABCDE approach I would take to assess the patient and in the feedback the interviewers took this as hesitation to mention the initial diagnosis and that they ‘had to drag the initial diagnosis out of me’ ☹️ Even though there was no hesitation on my part, just thoroughness in the ABCDE approach.
How do I tackle that? Where can I review which chronic conditions to prepare for? What format should I use to answer questions?
Your help would be much appreciated as I am very worried and upset that I’m unsure where to even begin reading for the clinical scenario.
Also, is there a specific source where I can read up on ethical issues for the ethics station apart from the medical interviews book ?
hello. may i know which post graduation degree you have got and the country you got it from?
@@lakshmis696 I never mentioned anything about post grad degrees
@@mirrorimage3606 sorry. My mistake. I read IMT as MTI.
may i ask you a doubt regarding acceptable PG qualifications in the UK?
GMC says "If your postgraduate qualification is not listed then it is not acceptable for the purposes of full registration with a licence to practise. However we may accept a letter from a UK medical Royal College confirming that an international qualification is equivalent to its own qualification."
How can we get such a letter from UK medical royal college?
By giving royal college examination like mrcp. Mrcs.. Mrcog based on ur post graduation
You'd need to contact the relevant Royal college.
Hii mam what is annual intake of IMG Dr. In Uk?in specific Internal medicine
There is no separate data for this as there is no discrimination based on your graduating country.
@@RoadToUK ok thank you for replying....is there any data relating to selected/applied....means chances of getting the job for any one overall.
