Thanks. Is it possible to change our GP preferences ranking after submitting the application? Before taking the MSRA or after the exam before the results come out

Thank you for your great help, I hold an MRCPCH, if I want to join ST4 Paediatrics training program , when should I apply, is there an interview, should I go to GMC for interview or can be on skype ( i hold GMC registration)? when I have to join UK?
I have passed today. However, I did not move every option from Right to the left column in time. I just found out, I did not match. Is there a chance that I could review my preferences?? my priority is to start training. I wont' mind working anywhere.
Well done on passing. You can add more areas / change your preferences between each upgrade cycle. As mentioned in the video you should select all areas you would consider based on genuine preference. Best wishes with getting an offer later!
There is no guarantee of a job - many doctors that are appointable will not get an offer due to the competition. The higher your scores, the greater your chances of getting an offer.
This was so helpful after spending 1hr trying to figure it out. Thanks so much!
Glad it helped!

Yes, you can change preferences again before the results come out, and then in between each offer / upgrade cycle.
After setting my preferences
I just received and e mail from oriel telling me . Unsuccessful at interview .
Is there any hope for an offer later ?
If you were unsuccessful at interview then you cannot get an offer for this specialty in this round. You would need to apply again next time.
IF i put all of the preferences on the left side do I have a higher chance?

Does it make any difference if I choose between select all or select none?
No. Select all is only useful if you really want to select every area and want to do it all in one go. I recommend you only rank areas you want.

Please read the detailed guidance from the royal college www.rcpch.ac.uk/resources/specialty-training-st3-st4-application-guidance
I used emedica for my MRSA and I passed. What do you mean by revising? You mentioned it towards the end of the video.
This video was made when doctors were applying for training. You will have completed your revision before sitting the MSRA - well done on passing!

Will you able to secure a job even u missed the first two offer ? Are all appointable candidate will get jobs ?

Thanks sp muchhh
does it matter if the place has too many places? would that increase the chance to get a job?
If you would like that area rank it based on your preference regardless of the number of jobs, as job numbers may change.
