  • This is the #2 build by Marlon Goldberg and his team, Workshop 5001. 3.8L, 340Hp and a relatively low weight makes this thing much faster than you would expect. Check out the video to see all the little details that have been modified.

Someday I need to get my 77’ back on the road. It’s an ROW that my dad bought in Germany in 81’ or 82’… brought it back to the states with him when he moved back. It’s been sitting in a barn or storage for pretty much 30 years. I got it running and cleaned out about 2 years ago, but now I’m rebuilding the brakes and need to go through all the suspension bushings and basically everything rubber on the car.
I also need an oil windage trey to stop the oil from leaking onto the headers lol (at least until I can pull the engine and reseal it).

LOVE the car- hate seeing people drive that quickly down busy streets though... makes me nervous just to watch it. Much better to see it in a wide-open road somewhere.

I love this car more than any I’ve seen before including singer for a few reasons, but most of all the thought process behind the whole build is the best outside of what Herr Porsche would have done when he dreamt of building his perfect car. This is so inline with that thinking. Every single thing has a rational reasoning including the mode for shutting down all lights and leaving headlights on. Can’t believe he thought of this. This is my kind of car...

I'm in love with that beautiful machine! Same year I was born and my favorite color. There's something magical with blue on red. It just pops. I'm hoping to find a 74 over here in Portugal.

Marlon retains the bare essence of these cars. They are still raw and somewhat unrefined as they should be.His previous employers imho, have taken them to a level that makes me uncomfortable, and into a place that the 911 wasnt meant to be.However, my favourite 911 short hood, is the 3.2 "Sleeper" by DP motorsports.

Where did you get that black thing for the rear deck lid with the hols in it?" my Dad has a 1978 Porsche 911 SC which I am looking for one of those and I like that one. it is flush and does not look sunk in. very cool. I look forward to your message. Thanks for the video very cool car.

I'm always floored with how crappy air cooled 911s sound at idle...and, how fantastic they sound at high revs. Nice resto.

nice car! your camera guy is not paying attention to what you're saying at times. he's got the camera focused elsewhere when it should be on the part of the car you're describing.

You know what kinda sucks about "what's cool" is it gets exploited by those who wanna make a ton of money off it. Then all the yuppies come running with their piles of cash and make it unobtainium for the rest of us. That sucks.

Not a fan of the seats or the Motek setup. Not sure why a car built in California would have to be taken all the way to NY for paint and then back again. It’s not like there aren’t some excellent paint shops in California.
I’d have chosen different seats that aren’t so aggressive and I’d definitely ditch that ugly Motek system. Reinstall the armrests in the doors and go with manual wind up windows. Ditch that red interior accent, it’s hideous.
The rest of the car however is very nicely done. I like the low key sleeper look without wide body fenders. The sound of the engine is spot on and congratulations on not going for more power by using the exhaust that you’re currently using. Open Weber trumpets would have been a nice touch too.

I get a kick out of these old bug-eyed cars. They were somewhat plentiful back in the day and were cheap to pickup. Not anymore. I just hope these owners can get their money back on all the custom stuff they are doing.

His cars are imho a more raw, natural evolution of the aircooled 911.Singer, have to me become a concept bent on installing features, that destroy the essence of the 911.Too many rich Asian bankers for customers, whose only requisite is bling.

Marlon, do what's right for your company and hire a professional to do the videos.....You clearly know your stuff but you need a professional in front of the camera.

This isn't Marlon's channel nor is it his video. It is a video i produced for my channel, about the car he built. If you don't think the production quality is adequate do it better yourself or go somewhere else.

Thank you showing us this raw all function 911. Many of us would try to execute a 911, to this level. This Porsche is what I would drive. Let the Singer's for the show a shine people.
