  • Today I'm riding with my potential club, not voted in as of this recording. Kentucky Krawlers this is one of the requirements for consideration for joining the club. In order to make Pumpkin Hollow an easy ride we went from South to north, Slade to Frenchburg. There are still a few ruts & one decent drop-off. You could still scrape in several areas. Johnson Branch is easier, I have several videos of each of these trails.

Another great video. Thanks for always acknowledging the importance of leave no trace-it’s all a shared area-let’s always leave it better than we found it

Thnx for the great video. I’ve only run a couple of the trails on the DBBB but hope to do more this season. It wasn’t in the video, but did you or anyone need to air down for Pumkin Holler? Just curious if it is necessary on this section or any part of the DBBB. Thnx Mark! Keep up the great work.

I'm glad you like the video. No one needed to air down for this ride. However, with that said most of these old roads and trails are very rocky and airing down at least a little greatly improves the ride. I always offer riders time to air down and disconnect sway bars if they like.

Thnx for the reply. I’ll be sure to air down a bit when I hit these trails. Hope to meet you out there someday.

There are lots of other roads/trails that airing down is helpful for traction not just ride quality.
