I know im.late but I wanted to say thank you. I'm 40 amd am gonna finally put together a portfolio for a tattoo apprenticeship. Your videos have been amazing.
@@DaggetDesigns wow man, I appreciate the response. I forgot to mention. I'm gonna get the dragon ebook, definitely worth it. Keep doing what you're doing man. It helps.
Haven’t drawn since the beginning of COVID… lost my creativity :/ But woke up this morning deciding I’d find a how to video and did the entire tutorial, and I mostly love it! Thank you, just for being here 💗
I seriously appreciate this tutorial. My dragon nose kept looking really strange and your simple explanation of drawing the small circles in front of the eyes really helped.
New sub, thanks for the content. I really enjoyed your video and found it interesting, informative and entertaining. You are an exceptional teacher and obviously a very talented artist. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks for sharing your exceptional talent with the world.
Im learning so much from you! I really appreciate it it’s helped pull me out of the negative vibes I was carrying within my spirit. Thank you for all the education. Much love
Hey man, absolutely loving your videos, been binge watching your tutorials after being away from art for a long time. Quick question, what kind of mechanical pencil do you use and why'd you prefer it? Cheers 👍
Thanks a lot my bro! Appreciate that and glad you’re enjoying my content. Umm i no longer use a mechanical pencil, but i was using a tombow mono for ages, just loved the weight of it really 😁
Hey man. You could draw the steps of how to make an Oni demon body or a samurai body. The drawing of the dragon's head looks great on you. Greetings from Venezuela
How do you make the gray wash? I can spit shade but it requires me to lay down black first. I watch a lot of video tutorials but they don’t show how they get gray
@@bulldog1010123 hey mate 😁 i normally just dilute my ink with water in my pallete, adding more or less water depending on how light/dark i want my greywash to be

Thanks a lot for the ideas and kind words man 😊 appreciate it
I’m trying to work out if I missed it in the video, but what did you use to line it?
Didn’t mention it in this video! Oops.. woulda been some sort of fine liners, usually i use ‘Rotring Tikki’ or a brush nib
What pen do you use when transferring a design from the sketch to the watercolour paper? Pigment liners?
Depends what im doing but usually I like to use a Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen to like Japanese stuff 👍🏼
Thank you sir
@@Coco-jc9gc anytime!
I enjoy the hell out of your videos. Always love to draw along! I’ve never water colored and I’m really looking forward to trying it out.
Thanks so much! Appreciate it 😊 feel free to let me know how it goes!
Love your videos, always super helpful and interesting. Thanks for making these 🤙🏻
Thanks a lot for your kind words bro 🙏🏻😁
What size liner should we use for this?
Whatever you’re comfortable with. I like to use a 0.8 or a 1.2. Another favourite is a brush marker
what kind of paper and ink colors do you use?
For this I used fabriano cold press watercolour in 300gsm and liquitex acrylic inks 👍🏼
What brand of brushes are you using?
Hey Madison! To be honest i can’t remember 🤦🏻♂️ they’re just cheap Tacklon synthetic watercolour brushes, $8 each or something
