and i know..i know..i know.. my list is very "white" this year. I just went by who i really want to see get in in my opinion. In the past i have gone crazy for artist like The Spinners and Tine Turner to get in, so yeah this year was just different.
Three days from Janes Addiction is Prog.
Two bands that deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame more than any of this year's nominees: Steppenwolf and Blue Oyster Cult.

I am a huge FOREIGNER fan but only with the original members. I am voting for FOREIGNER and I hope they win because they deserve it! Love Lou's voice!
Saw Lou just recently....was finally nice to see him after seeing the more recent version for years. As a kid I would play that debut over and over and over....

If you're inducting based on importance well Eric B and Rakim is miles ahead of everyone on this list (assuming we're disregarding Ozzy's time with Black Sabbath, since that part of his career is already inducted).
im sure they will get in. lots of rap/hip hop have been lately. I love public enemy as my favorite from that genre and they always brought him up. Honestly i am not too familiar with any of their stuff, but i have always heard the name.... but again..my picks are probably the best :)
I agree. It's really a no brainer. The rap duo influenced rapers like Tupac J Z Eminem Nas just a few. Also one of greatest human beings to ever to touch the mic including rock,jazz r @b. Put them in l.
Had no idea about Mojo Nixon! Sad. That sucks. He probably hated the Hall of Fame--the very idea is anti-rock 'n roll!

The rock hall needs to ask when they can get into Bad News.
Well Iron Maiden should of been on the list again, but what's the point. Rock n Roll Hall Of Shame would just reject the fans votes anyway. And don't be surprise they'll do the same this year to artist who deserve to be on it. Also I have to agree with @williamyates694 Ministry should be in the hall of fame as well.
Sadly fan votes mean nothing..just a p.r. piece. Iron Maiden would blow away all other performers on the show if they got in. But the old rock- Rolling Stone magazine crowd have always snubbed metal.

Went once as a guest. Iron Maiden should have been in a long time ago. I love Ministry. Did industrial well before Trent Reznor. Nothing against Reznor, but he hopped into a movement. Dave Matthews? Forget it. Never got it. Love Foreigner. Big into Jane's Addiction. My first concert at 7 years old was Kool & The Gang. Ozzy should be a sinch. Tribe Called Quest can F off....they are not rock. Open up a hip hop hall of Fame and shut the f up eh? But Jane's Addiction was Alternative before Nirvana even hit the scene. They really don't get the credit that is deserved. I remember on Headbangers Ball they would play Mountain Song only after the second hour. Question...did The Cure get in? Do you like The Cult? Never liked the whiney Oasis. Question...would Sinead even have a career without Prince? NO. Catholic or whatever is not a reason for induction. Blugh! Iron Maiden rules but they never get this right! Yes, it's not fun if everyone loves the same bands. Or same hockey clubs. Mountain Song was a breath of fresh air on MTV. " COMMMING DOWN THE MOUUUUINTAIN.."
@@BriansFunHouse well...hockey wasn't the subject lol. I really tried other bands. But Mountain song is where I broke off from everyday pop metal. It was new refreshing, and hard. It was needed. I also dug in Saigon Kick. Friends if mine. The scene in the south was weird at best at this moment.
