YBEC on the Chattooga

YBEC’s Chattooga River Trip is the ultimate adventure experience and a foundational component of YBEC’s adventure programming. YBEC’s Founder and CEO, Mark Staszko Sr., and Vice President of the Board of Directors, Peter Zurflieh first led students through this beautiful section of river back in the 1970s with the Appalicain School of Experience. Since YBEC’s beginning in 2000, YBEC has continued that legacy by venturing into the wild and scenic Chattooga River each year to be captivated by the thrilling whitewater and incredible scenery.
