We did the Brent Run - not as the typical challenge but as a 10 day trip. It's a beautiful trip. I can't imagine doing it straight - especially if you do it the traditional way with a cedar strip canoe!
Our trip ended up getting cut short by 2 days due to an injury - one of our party fell while lining a set of rapids and broke her hand - but was a trooper and continued paddling for 2 days - duck tape and sticks for the win!

Wow! That sounds like quite the adventure. Glad you enjoyed the trip in the more traditional fashion:)

This looks like a lot of fun!! Careful when you're packing for a race not to go too light on clothing, yes it's summer, but it gets cold enough to give a sweaty tired athlete a serious case of hypothermia at night. Exhaustion makes you vulnerable. Breathable hooded layers are key. Layer up before you freeze, layer down before you sweat, not after. That's where most people struggle.

Yeah that was definitely something we learned through this adventure! Even on a hot summer night it gets quite chilly.

We were thinking of doing the Brent Run next year and your video popped up. Awesome video and interviews, we really enjoyed it. Finishing in under 40 hours is quite the feat!

We're glad you enjoyed it! Doing it non-stop was definitely a feat for these families. All the best if you decide to go ahead with the trip!
