There used to be a school of mathematics and astronomy there that students would come from all over to study at with famous mathematics and astronomers of the times. And those rocks are actually covered in absolutely stunning tile work. Oh, if these walls could talk! 😍 I am super into business, math and science. Perhaps you’re more into art?

As a person who went there few months ago I’d definitely recommend going there for anyone who wants to travel Asia sometime. It’s very cheap and beautiful country. But I believe this is Samarkand u went. Because I have been there and it was quite nice! If I rate it I would give it 8/10! I didn’t quite liked the car road plus there was a lots of traffic bc of how much cars actually existed there. But it’s quite alright Uzbekistan yaakshii eakaan? Funny fact, I traveled to Uzbekistan in March 2013, spent 4 hours clearing customs to enter the city because I had 7k in cash , mostly in $20 and $100 bills, they had to write serial numbers down of every banknote! By hand! And gave me a piece of paper saying if I wanted to leave Uzbekistan with any cash, notes will have to match numbers of certificate! What!!! I was stunned. And no one accepted cards, only cash. I had to walk literally with backpack full of cash 😅

i was in Uzbekistan in 2022. It was pretty darn cheap, but not quite as cheap as he found it. A rice pilaf at a cheap eatery was $2, but looks like he found an even cheaper place! Typically my wife and I were dining at average-price restaurants for $7-8 per person without alcohol, and $10-12 person if we got beers or a bottle of wine. Yeah pretty damn cheap.

Funny fact, I traveled to Uzbekistan in March 2013, spent 4 hours clearing customs to enter the city because I had 7k in cash , mostly in $20 and $100 bills, they had to write serial numbers down of every banknote! By hand! And gave me a piece of paper saying if I wanted to leave Uzbekistan with any cash, notes will have to match numbers of certificate! What!!! I was stunned. And no one accepted cards, only cash. I had to walk literally with backpack full of cash 😅

Hey, I'm local, and all of it costs way more... even if per item. The dish, for example, is no less than $2-3, the same goes for kebab and the ride. Dunno tho, maybe he really found those magical prices😂

i was in Uzbekistan in 2022. It was pretty darn cheap, but not quite as cheap as he found it. A rice pilaf at a cheap eatery was $2, but looks like he found an even cheaper place!
Typically my wife and I were dining at average-price restaurants for $7-8 per person without alcohol, and $10-12 person if we got beers or a bottle of wine. Yeah pretty damn cheap.
