Some of the best music in Sci Fi. It was one of the many different things that made the show magical.
I just watched this episode yesterday, and it's one of my favorite B5 scores. Both are so gut-wrenching especially with the state of the world right now.
The best episode in the entire series. Very inspiring. Sheridan and his human compatriots show their dignity, courage and finalized building their fellowship, Delenn shows her ability to be a true leader. Only God (and JMS) knows what would happen if she not coming up in the very needed moment to save the captain and his brave friends.
13:01 This always sticks with me. Right after Delenn arrives to save the day, you're reminded of the awful close quarters fighting on the inside. Station security, Alliance Marines, and narn volunteers all lying together in this horrific scene. Most are dead or dying, and you just can't help but feel for these soldiers too, fighting their own people for no good reason.

@@themisspultone Not to mention one of the saddest moments in Babylon 5. You know what they say... War is.... HELL!
I wish I could find the jazz music that plays in the background on some episodes. Like in the episode after their victory against the shadows and in the episode where bester came to B5 to find the underground railroad.
Look in the credits of the episode, the songs and artists should be listed there.
There was only one episode where an outside source music was used (The Face Of The Enemy). Everything else was done by Christopher Franke, including a few songs in Walkabout and all the jazzy bits. There is also a very quick excerpt
from Franke's solo album Klemania used in the New Year's Eve party in the first season finale Chrysalis.
Can this be bought? I’d love to to get all the B5 music. I’m in the hospital a lot and this would definitely keep me company! I’m asking the same for any other B5 music. It beautiful and there’s nothing that rivals it in my book! Thank you!

Not sure where you can buy the soundtracks today since most or all of them are out of print. Amazon may have some. I’m sure you could track them down on eBay as well.
@@MusicOfBabylon5 I'd be happy too. Thank you.
When the series was in production, CDs were made of the music from some of the episodes. I bought a few at the time, then in the early 2000s some more when a store was closing down. I think there are about twenty four in all, not including the longer CDs which are compilations, and CDs of music from the B5 films. So that's about 30 CDs in total. They are long out of production, but I recently learned of a third compilation I didn't know had been made and looked for it on ebay and Amazon, and yes, you can find some of the CDs there, though the price being asked varies. I will say though that the quality of the CDs is excellent, with great production values and the music is of course outstanding. You never know, you might find someone who is selling their collection as a job lot. Good luck and happy hunting.
