I can box braid all day long, but cornrows... lol a different story and after decades of not knowing how to braid, I think your video just helped me realize what I've been doing wrong!!! Thank you!!! Oh, and India is my daughter's name, too just with a "y".
Thank you for the video. I think it was helpful. Several years ago, I gave my wife cornrows. At the time, I had learned how to do both french braids and dutch braids. To do the 'cornrows' in my wife' hair, I just did several very small dutch braids. I had not learned at that time the differences. It took me 3 days to complete the project. this was in part due to her taking care of our son, who was only about 3 months old, and that my hands got very tired. On a positive note, the braids stayed in for over a month. Thanks again.
This was such a helpful video! Your slower movements at first, the camera angle, and the fact you do it for more than one or two seconds is so much more helpful than any other video I have watched. I was able to figure out what my “missing piece” was that was keeping mine from turning out this nice. Thank you thank you!!
When you said, "Adding in a piece of hair to each section while continuing the braid." It all of a sudden just made sense and clicked. 🤯 Thank you!!! 38 yrs old with a 10yr old daughter. I can do braid extensions but couldn't for the life of me figure out a cornrow until TODAY.
Thanks for this. Watching from the UK. After being scared to learn cornrows for years, today I watchedthis video a couple of times then steeled myself, got my mannequin out and started practicing. It turned out OK. I don’t know why I was so scared! I was rewinding your video over and over on certain parts, so I could master this. I feel confident. I’ll keep practicing tomorrow and I’ll also watch your videos on adding extension hair to the stitch braids. Thanks again for teaching this. Be blessed
Your hair tutorials are the only one's I'm going to be following from now on. The other ones don't take the time to explain it properly into FULL detail like you do! I don't even know by why the bother create tutorials if they can't explain it this good!
OMG i finally learned how to braid because of you !! The stitch braid method was way easier to understand being that I can better understand what’s going on under your fingers. Thank you 🙏🏾 ❤
I started learning how to braid and your channel is such a gift anyone can ask for.Always looking forward for your good tutorials🎉🎉 wish you more wins.
Your freaking tutorial really helped me a lot!! I wish you could a do a video about the difference of braiding on different textures, straight & curly hairs.. and how to part properly, also how long a braid should averagely take. Anyways love your tutorial!! Keep thriving!
I like how you grabbed hair after adding the strand. Much less hassle than trying to add the strand and hair at the same time. Thank you for the technique.
I’ve been trying to cornrow now for about 4 years and could never get it as I always cornrowed incorrectly. I’ve finally gotten it after watching a video she made on TikTok and then coming to watch it on UA-cam. Thank you so much ❤
Hi you braid hair very nicely I am trying to practice cornrows. I only know how to do French braids and halo braids, fish braiding. I am really interested in learning cornrow braids. I find your video helpful.
This was such a great tutorial and a helpful video now I’ve finally learned how to braid thank u so much I will only be following your tutorials from now on thanks uuuuu💕
Thank you so very much for taking the time and care to create this video! You are such an amazing teacher; really appreciate the way you explain the process slowly, in steps, and don't take for granted we all know how to do this. My girls are blessed with biracial hair, and I sometimes feel like I have to apologize for not knowing how to cornrow. No one has ever shown me, but plenty judge me for not knowing how. It's more that I am a cliché or it's a typical ignorant way to raise our kids. You have no idea how many tutorials, hours and cash spent trying to get their hair right. Sure, many moms can relate. It's just so much hair! Her sister has more Caucasian like hair, and I thank God for that balance. Altough the poor child sits for hours to have hair straightened only to have it kink again the morning after. Her dad is full on into making sure her hair looks sleek and slick, have to admit. So I digress, thank you sincerely for the time and love to provide this.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’ve been trying to learn cornrows for years, and it was like none of the videos I watched helped…. you really break it down in detail how to do both kinds and I can see clearly how you do it also. Ima keep watching this until I get it down!!! Thank you❤❤
You started the second plait, plaiting over each and other and then you went under each other. Great to see both ways and I actually think under makes more sense for me!
So my little sister is half black and she sometimes cuts her hair really bad in secret and now I have to come in and make her look less like a purple minion and try something cute with her hair because nobody else seems to care. It's impossible for her to sit tight, but I'm gonna attempt to make her cornrows. Angry that her babydaddy doesn't teach her black hair and skin maintenance and that I have to look after it. Poor girl is getting into puberty and looks a mess
Good video! Question for ya: when you are adding the hair, are you adding it to the hair in the middle or the hair on each side? Idk if that sounds confusing i didn't know how else to explain it haha it looked like you were but i wasn't sure😅
Hi 1 month ago, I had African braids done at the hairdresser's.. But it damaged my hair. The synthetic hair they used was of poor quality. This time I will braid my hair myself. Which product would you recommend me?
So when you section your piece of hair that you’re going to run the comb from one side all the way to the other side or you go half way and then the braid?
I’m just doing this for fun, and suddenly realize that this shii is hella expensive by that time we’re at the beach. HAHAHAHA and now I’m doing this for business
Hi Indy , I’m a new to your channel.♥️such a great detailed video. I would like for you to do a pop smoke tutorial, demonstrating how to do the parting, etc. I would appreciate it.

Hello, I really liked your tutorial, thank you very much for doing it. It is the product that is applied to the hair when doing it. a braid?
You started the second plait, plaiting over each and other and then you went under each other. Great to see both ways and I actually think under makes more sense for me!
Is that gel you apply at the button of the hair
Very helpful thanks❤
Why I can feel that last braid being put in lmao I know you have a nice grip. 😂
❤
Stay safe 🙏❤️❤❤
I love your video resolution
Is it possible to braid without the gel stuff? Or is there anything else that can replace it?
yes you can! you can also just use a light grease or hair cream or just go without it completely
Thank youu!! (tut)
Thank you..this so hel0fil..😊❤
Tq Soo much for your help...god bless u

My boyfriend has long hair this is good for when I braid his hair
Good video! Question for ya: when you are adding the hair, are you adding it to the hair in the middle or the hair on each side? Idk if that sounds confusing i didn't know how else to explain it haha it looked like you were but i wasn't sure😅
I add it to the right side!
Hello what do u You use on the hair besides jam
Hi
1 month ago, I had African braids done at the hairdresser's..
But it damaged my hair.
The synthetic hair they used was of poor quality. This time I will braid my hair myself.
Which product would you recommend me?
So when I’m grabbing a piece of hair, that piece goes in between my thumb and index always?
So when you section your piece of hair that you’re going to run the comb from one side all the way to the other side or you go half way and then the braid?
yes halfway!
please do a sew-in braid down tutorial
I'm just yanking what little hair I have out. I can get it tight but it looks frizzy !!!!!!!!!
I’m just doing this for fun, and suddenly realize that this shii is hella expensive by that time we’re at the beach. HAHAHAHA and now I’m doing this for business
Hey love, where did you get this mannequin head?
Amei 👏👏👏👏👏🙏😍
✨😉
Hey. Where did you get the manican from?
ill just continue to put my daughters hair in puff balls😭
Are you only adding hair to the middle strand?
Please do it using attachment (fake hair)
Yes how do you cornrow AND add hair to hold it longer? I need to learn who can help with that?? 🤔
That's a lot of work
Thanks for making this video, just to confirm please,Is this mannequin for 27dollars?
Can we use alovera gel instead of that???
Thanks for this video \o/
Hi Indy , I’m a new to your channel.♥️such a great detailed video. I would like for you to do a pop smoke tutorial, demonstrating how to do the parting, etc. I would appreciate it.
Where did you get your training head
Thank you so much this really did help me
What jelly do you use
Always add hair to the middle?
Hi thank uso much live saver bc my mom wants me to lear and a way easi😅😢er
How do you wash your wig head after you’re done practicing?
i just used shampoo to wash off the gel so there isnt any build up, you dont need to use conditioner tho since the hair is usually synthetic
Can I use hair wax
Nice
I can’t see clearly when you’re adding hair. Am I just adding a piece or the entire horizontal piece to one side ?
