Thank you for this. Why do you think this is not being done intentionally more often? Lack of resources of SME? Communication efforts perceived as non-essential? Lack of coherent and holistic, frameworks? As a Comms student and branding enthusiast now entering the real work environment, I'm currently wondering why brands are not more intentional about their branding processes. A lot of the work seems arbitrary.
