He's been around for so long, but always a bit underrated in my opinion.
Brilliant drummer! Saw him play with Wayne Shorter in the 80's on the North Sea Jazz Festival. One of the greatest gigs I've ever seen.

Look for videos of him with any number of great musicians, including Chick Corea, Robben Ford.
