cool music, how did you take the sound for the vid? sounds like it is taken from the FOH mix, by the way there are more idiots who make editing and making footage for free , ask Ralf Schmitz from JazzrockTV or myself about it , but if we can spread this kinda cool music a bit more to new audiences it is worth doing it !!! On this tour I brought a Steinberg audio interface so I could take all the drum mics separately and a line on the bass as well. So I'm actually able to do a real mix after the gig; this mix I did on a pair of Bose noise-cancelling headphones, half of it in a hotel room and some in our van. I'm recording to my MacBook Pro in Logic, which I'm also using to host all of my virtual instruments. We're working on releasing a live CD from this tour and have caught a lot of great takes so far...

interesting, hope we find the time to talk about that tomorrow at Live Proberaum, i am the one who took the videos we made there for Dean Brown, Jeff Lorber, Brian Hughes , Phishbacher, etc , took a Concert at Pfandhaus with Martin Sasse ( Tom played with him and Brian Hughes ) few weeks ago using for the first time a Allen &Heath ICE 16, took 8 tracks direct from the mixer outs into a USB Stick so you can mix it later in a DAW or with the interface integrated in the ICE 16 on a seperate Mixing console .
His cymbals sound so good. Wat does he use?

Hey, Benno: Thanks! There's this idiot who does the editing; he looks like me, but more tired, and he works for NOTHING! What an idiot! He does it in Camtasia, which is a really great program that makes the whole process pretty easy...

Not that you're likely to find this so far downstream but just in case; "btw this band, with this personnel...is in top five of my most revered". That's in a growing collection of ~by now~ must be K's of YTbe vids of music. And '..Superboy..' is one of the most moving melodies, + story line [and chord prog] I've ever run across in my travels.
