    Is the pipe inside the gun where the 3/8 quick coupler connected removable?

      Yes everything inside is removable. In fact I've used the little pipe before as short little extension wand.

    The one I'm fixing is just a ball and spring, but it's leaking passed the valve when the trigger is disengaged and I can't tell why. Not sure if there's a seal missing, if the ball is worn down, or if the ball cradle isn't shaped right anymore. It only leaks out of the tips.

    • @PressureCleaningSch

      Is there an o ring ?

    • @Anubalfer
      @Anubalfer 2 роки тому +1

      @@PressureCleaningSch There's a little ring past the ball's cradle that the rod goes through but it's not leaking out of there. I put everything back together and it's still passing through. Unfortunately, it is now leaking from behind the female connector to the wand also. I can't remove the hose from the wand because it looks like the owner never ever did. It's really seized up.

    • @Anubalfer
      @Anubalfer Рік тому

      @@timothytidmore6922 It's been a while, but I thought it'd best to share what I ended up doing. I removed the hose from the gun. The hose's connector was destroyed in the process so I ended up getting a new hose. I cleaned up the threads on the gun as much as possible, wrapped some thread seal tape around it, and connected the new hose. It sopped leaking everywhere. I really don't know how, but disassembling the gun, cleaning the ball valve and spring, and assembling it back together may have done something before connecting a new hose.

    Hey man. I have a Stuttner st-2700 SS and I bought a SS rebuld kit and watched your video. I was having an issue with my gun where the gun would constantly flow. I got to the portion where you have to use a screw to pull the tiny metal insert out and mine is so stuck. I've done exactly what you have done. I further went to try a torch ( didn't work) and pb blaster ( didn't work). Have any ideas?

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  3 роки тому

      Yes just replace the gun. Sounds like it’s pretty well stuck. Don’t mean to sound rude but the time and effort in fixing one sometimes outweighs replacing it.

    Hey, i just bought a Harbor Freight 4.2 gpm pressure washer because I was in a jam. The nozzle always weeps. HF tech dept said that's normal and helps to keep the pump cool . That doesn't sound right to me. None of my other guns do this. What do you think? Return it or normal for this particular unit?

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  7 місяців тому

      That type of gun is most often used in car washes. Not good for what we do. I'd return it for a non weep gun.

    Mr Rucker, where did you buy the stainless steel reducer coupling 1/4" FNPT by 3/8" FNPT at entry point of gun? I desperately need one. I've purchased several other items from your store, but I cannot find it there. Please help. Thank you. By the way, great, informative videos.

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  3 роки тому

      you should be able to find them at home depot or Lowes, ace, etc. Plumbing supply.

    • @hectormontemayor5385
      @hectormontemayor5385 3 роки тому +1

      Mr Rucker, I've searched at all those stores you mentioned, to include the internet, and nowhere does anything resemble what's on your gun, i.e., the long neck that goes into the 1/4" pipe, and the 3/8" female is not thick like the one on your gun which probably affects the PSI associated with their reducer coupling thereby rendering it ineffective for a high capacity pressure washer. I really think if you made that item part of your store inventory followed by a video, you would have a high selling item. By the way, your gun swivel video prompted me to buy it. I'm sure I'm not the only person looking for that particular reducer coupling. Any further information on your reducer coupling would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your previous response.

      @@hectormontemayor5385 I think you're looking for a 1/4" fnpt to 3/8" mnpt hex bushing. It is in his store with that name, but I also found it at my plumbing store Somerville in 316 stainless steel. I could only find brass ones at Lowe's and those broke all the time. The power washing companies don't seem to sell them at all since they're part of the wand. I have yet to find thicker ones, but the steel one I last used is still holding up.
