From memory, I think you need to pre-book the cable car to the very top with the Spanish government. Numbers to the summit are/were limited. Great you are back 👍 Fab filming.

I have been there in that huge crater hole and felt frightened to death, ha ha!! Did you go up in the cable car? I wasn't allowed as I am asthmatic. Beatiful weather there in the Canary Islands isn't it? Rabbits live there and of course the lizards, with some yellow and black large lizards. The tour guide said Mount Tiede last erupted in the 1970's but I am not sure of this. Apparently there used to be a massive strato volcano which collapsed in on itself and then continued to erupt creating Mount Tiede. 😀
La Palma volcano is a baby compared to the rest of the cones and caldera surrounding it. The largest caldera on La Palma is Taburiente and Teide on Tenerife dwarfs Taburiente!

I was carrying a bottle of water in the cable cart while going up and it suddenly popped open because of the diminishing atmospheric perssure.
That kinda happens with people too, fortunately we have an outlet. It's called HAFE. High altitude flatulent emission. 🤣

Iv been up mount tadi it’s stunning up there and I’m sure they filmed Star Wars there, we went up the cable cart there is sometimes snow at the top.
