    hallo Herr Lachmair..

    Hi Martin, I am so thrilled to have found your channel. I love your work. Using ink and watercolor is so effective. First the ink pen drawings are so intricate and precise, making it possible to create great architecture: the kind that is rarely seen here at home in Alberta, Canada. Adding the watercolor allows
    you to add ambiance, suggest mystery,
    even suggest a futuristic air to buildings which tell a different story, one embodying where this society has
    been, once was. I am so glad you chose to share your first cityscapes and the architecture found there. I found them to be charismatic, filled with energy and flair. I love these too! If you had not introduced them as your first attempts in working with these mediums, tools, and speciality; I would never have known. They are different, but truly enjoyable also...I look forward to watching your future tutorials. Thank you, most sincerely, for sharing your talent, expertise, and area of art that brings you joy. Speaking for myself, be assured, the enjoyment of your work in-process and once complete is mutually felt. And where there is one gathered round to watch and learn, and experience the work as play: many more are sure to follow. I am so glad to be here, while you choose an online studio to work with room for another....

    Thanks, my question is does using fountain give you the most flexibility when drawing lines opposed to switching fine markers ect..?
    The ink for drawing must be a permanent type,yes? I like your style. Bye

    • @MartinLachmairArt
      @MartinLachmairArt  10 місяців тому

      Thanks a lot. I use mostly fountain pens because, with the right waterproof ink, the blacks are a little bit deeper than with fine markers. For flexibility I use the good old steel nib, dip pens.

    Your Hongdian is well loved and used =) I use the same pen/nib and ink. It serves its purpose but I still fall for consumerism and buy all sorts of pens I don’t really need. Love your art work. New subscriber here…. will be binge watching your videos!
