Hello I know I am a little late to be asking a question but old engines and stuff have always interested me. I am no expert but thought that by now im in my 40s I wouldn't be surprised then in this video @8:22 I see this 1919 Le Desjardin Built in Canada. So now I am thinking I might be a bad Canadian and feel like I should look into this little engine. First I wanted to ask if the information is correct there is a lot in this video and I admire the amount of effort it takes to put something like this together. I get a feeling this is from the UK but there is not anything I noticed that gives it away in this video and I am commenting before I investigate beyond this video so I would like to know what country this was from? Any other information on this engine would be interesting to know like one of the big ones would be dose it still smell like maple? lol mike
great video as usual, shame some of the exhibitors couldn't put some information out about there displays, helps us viewers know what it is and what it may of done. best regards
Most have some basic information but usually just what the engine is. My engine (3:56) has some information about the company and also how the hit and miss works with extra pictures. Some people will ask for more information which is always very welcome. Problem is, we don't usually know what the engine did in the past and have to assume that they simply provided power to drive something, eg, water pumps. Some had specific jobs such as running industrial washing machine (Maytag), and Lister D's were usually in a hut near a stream pumping water to the farm. But it is rare to know 100% it's role in the past.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Kaison Samson thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
